    It's been 2 years since a comment here. I am 50+ years old....Hackett could pull these gems out because I am sure he studied, listened, concerned himself with the art of presenting the hilarious. Man, I appreciate this guy with tears and laughing up the storm he brewed.!!! Thanks for posting , dude.

    Buddy Hackett was hilarious. He was really before my time, but I learned about him watching Carson when I was little. I was watching the night he told this joke, and I thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard.

    Too funny! I'd love to hear him tell the one about the WWI Fokkers. Heard him tell it live on JC in the 1960s and never heard it again. The tapes were being recycled then and were considered more valuable than the material that was on them, go figure. Joke every bit as good as this one, describing how his ace was shooting Fokkers coming at him from the left, the right, above, below, from every direction.
