200 Watt Inverter Troubleshooting, step by step. it is TL494 based mini inverter for small appliances. it is 12 vdc operated and it provides 220VAC 50Hz, it is giving red light (fault) and its buzzer is ringing continuously. i shared the test points test and troubleshooting. i found that tl494 is damaged and its pin number 14 reference voltage are 11.19 volt. it must be 5.0 volt. when it is providing more voltage than its rated 5.0 volt. its internal reference regulator damaged. and its oscillator and related circuitry will not work.

I have a question that also raised after i just watched your other '3000 VA solar inverter series' .
how do we know what mosfet is suitable replacement if we cant find the matching one.
what is so specific in this circuit that we have to ensure that this mosfet is gona work, i mean if opt for a different mosfet what changes we need to do in this circuit ? i believe that the mosfet is driven by a transister at its gate so do we need a diffent transistor with different gain characteristics ?
Can you show how the mosfet drive voltage affects the output ?

my problem is its power on normal with the green light is open
but i have variable voltage output

if the repair cost is less than 65% of the equipment cost, we can repair it
in this case TL494 SOP IC. it is around 1 dollar,
if i can find locally, i will fix it
