I received the Paul Barry Photo and will add it to future Lennie Hayton uploads. He sure was a handsome guy.The woman will swoon over him.Tell your Granny I said "HI".
Lou - not boasting or anything - dancing Tango is my huge hobby and according to many outstanding Tango dancers in Chicago - I am in the "top heap" of Tango dancers.
Any idea who the clarinetist is on this one? This sounds like a well-rounded band that should have been more popular than it was. Partly sweet dance band, partly swing. Quite a pity they never caught on...
I know that Genia dances up the Tango storm in New York and I have no clue about Gigi's Tango. If you want to learn Tango - and it's not that hard - you might enjoy a few basic lessons - then you can come to Chicago - I will probably dance some Tango with you if you're a perfect gentleman - or close to perfect. Wink!!!
Sharon,If you read this THANKS AGAIN for sending those Paul+Amy Barry photos 14 years ago.The videos with thier photos in them made them so much more interesting. I thought I made a Lennie Hayton playlist on YT but it vanished.
Can you teach Lou and are you better then Gigi and Genia? I just passed my stress test. Two doctors were waiting for me to fall off and I fooled them.HaHa

Yes,I do - what is the next vocal you are posting? This is very cool.
I have no idea.Rust's book only identifies vocalist Paul Barry.
Do they sing or is just melody?
