That’s the best sounding Vanguard I have ever heard. That muffler really gives it that deep rumble that reminds me of a Buell 1125CR.

The exhaust sounds amazing, I read some comments and you said you used a fox muffler. What is a fox muffler? Is a a glass pack like a cherry bomb or Something or is it Hollow with a perforated pipe or something like that?

What fuel are you running? Race gas? I haven't heard response like that on pump gas since they started blending ethanol.

What oil is recommended?? I have one for my dune buggy. Is it normal for a little smoke to come out? The oil is black and i need to change that. Hoping its just old oil
I use 10w60.....i like the thick oil for racing purposes and i usually let the engine warm up a little bit before full throttle

@@bee2333 i use castrol 10w60. They dont ned back pressure, just dont run it without any exhaust pipe.

@@tucksbestproduction hab einen Gilson s-twin 16hp. Alles aus Blech, alt aber noch Qualität. Läuft leider nur auf einem Topf und raucht blau. Vielleicht Kolben- oder Abstreifring?? Rentiert sich eine Reparatur? woher bist du?

There is actually a little bit mote done to it.......but only based on reworked stock parts.
@@tucksbestproduction ya I can tell its stock parts with a flywheel that's all I was saying have built a few mystery but not with stock parts have $3500 tied up into a vanguard that runs on methanol
What did you run the motor on?
Regular pump gas. In germany we would kill one of your oval trac race engines maybe in one race.....different conditions, we need torque not rpm and that over a long time without melting the engine.
