The Black Sabbath original strikes fear and power, Sarah King’s interpretation captures the tragedy and senseless. Both are extraordinary and meaningful examinations on the subject of war and the power of music as an instrument to examine human frailties. Well done. Chilling!
Phenomenal cover. Haunting, less anger but more broken and rescind to the inevitability of the system. A much needed new take on a classic. Felt much more personal and then I saw the dedication and it made sense. I love it.
This is so good, you can envision the aftermath as the radioactive snow falls down upon us, from these few madmen politicians actions. One of the most touching covers I have heard. This will be on the WAR PIGS Playlist! I love this!
@@SarahKing The hair was standing up on the back of my neck as I watched and listened to your video. You nailed it!!!! If we could get your video on every channel playing 24/7, maybe we could stop this nuclear war talk that a few elites are pushing.
Awesome performance..so glad to see great song again.... I can’t help but think the video producers missed the chance to show the up to date War Pigs...would have made Sara’s great performance more relevant ✌🏻❤️
i think there's a different type of meaning and depth - i didn't live through what inspired them to write this, but i lived my own story that i couldn't possibly tell any better than they did. thank you, thank you
A lot of great songs sound even better acoustically, this is one of those. Excellent version - how about a go at a Dio Sabbath tune, something like Country Girl or Children of the Sea
I wonder why the UA-cam algorithm keeps pushing this song no matter what song I listen to. It's very good. But doesn't strike me as much as the original did for me. I'm glad she did a very decent cover though.
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! It’s probably showing to you based on other songs or artists you’ve listened to, and I appreciate you giving it a listen!
It's in the original key of E major (not minor) and I'm sliding from D to E, with the open E as a drone. Then just the chromatic walk down from G to E in the verse. And thank you for your service.
One of the best covers ive ever herd!
Thank you!!

They could've used this in "American Sniper". Especially during those Egypt scenes.
crossing my fingers someone puts this one in a movie someday!

May I ask what chords you are playing? This is a beautiful cover of my favorite song. Thanks from an American veteran.

Hello
I'm here!
I Read that more bombs were dropped on Vietnam that all of the total boms dropped on Germany in ww2.
I love how a drugged out maniac can see how screwed the system is better than most 🙃
Right? The lyrics are SO powerful!
I’m pretty sure Geezer wrote the lyrics.
@@tflannagan I think you're right! I remember reading the song was his idea!
