Hi, I just got a 2200 Longarm before Christmas - I am so excited to learn with it. I seem to have an issue with the thread nesting on the back randomly - it is the top thread that is coming through onto the back - what am I doing wrong? As well, what is that white thing on the top on the machine - it has numbers on it and a threaded nut that you can move up and down the column... I can't see anywhere in the manual that talks about it.
You need to tighten your upper tension if you are getting loops underneath. The white knob on top is how hard the spring pressure is activating against your fabric. You probably will never need to adjust this unless your internal spring becomes worn.
Road Toads thanks. I’ll try tightening up my upper tension. I use Two layers of batting (I like thick heavy quilts) and I find the ruler foot pushes the material and causes tucks. I have lifted the foot to the highest it can go (using the screw on the foot) or so I think I have. Is there any other way to raise the foot?
Hi, do you sell parts? I have a Juki 2200 long arm and the little collar on the “needle” that you put the tread through before the needle broke on my machine. I would like to order one or two (just in case) but can’t seem to find where I can get them.
There is little if any vibration as the Stand up version will include a dampening system which will minimize any resonant frequency that could cause excessive vibration.

Do you have any pros/cons I should consider in my decision? I am new to FMQ and want to learn ... i have done a lot of pantographs already and am comfortable with that.
