    I have the exact same one with 5000+ miles on it and the frame is broken, stuff is falling off, and it doesn't go into reverse, but the engine starts up every time no problem. indestructible machine

      Yeah man. My 03 450 Kodiak takes me anywhere as well. I'm 6ft and 265 lbs. These machines are tanks. The belts last forever and the cvt engine is just solid. I rarely touch a brake, regardless of how steep the hill.

    @ClassicVideosOfYT Yes it is... but.. people always think that it would suck because it would be hard to STEER and think it would take MORE gas.. but it does NOT i can go along time on a tank of gas and its easy to steer

    Adam, I don't know if you still have it but can you tell me top speed you can get in 5th gear high? I bought the same atv. 1993 kodiak 400. Seems to run good but I've used my gps to click me at 26mph top speed in 5th high gear. I don't know if I have something wrong. It seems to rev just as high as in neutral while under way and doesn't feel like clutch is slipping.... let me know what you get top speed please.

      I have a 97 Kodiak 400 And it's the slowest bike I've ever had. It does around 70 km or 60 km an hour

    • @jkauffman990
      @jkauffman990  10 років тому

      no you can't not. It's all time 4x4 but it doesn't make it hard to drive or turn.
