I’m glad you are enjoying your Bengal. They are very intelligent and super affectionate. They do have high energy and endless curiosity. Some like water more than others.
Your Kona is just the sweetest most adorable little baby! I love that you take her for walks and play with her like that. I'm still researching breeders, but I am hopeful to get my own this year❤
@@neil9383 yes, they use them for about 3 days and then stop. I make sure to change the filter every 5 days, and they just eventually stop using them. i’ve tried about 5 different brands. it’s been a while since i’ve tried so maybe i’ll give it a go
Bengals are more like a dog than a cat. But people need to know if you get a female you should get her fixed. Mine wasn’t fixed when I got her and she didn’t have papers (her previous owner went to prison so I couldn’t get them). When she went into heat she screamed so LOUD it sounded like someone was getting killed in my house. It’s not your typical cat sounds, it actually sounds like a woman and a man fighting. Lots of high pitched screaming, mixed with guttural low pitched yelling.
I have one already but I’m getting another next week lol. They are such amazing cats. I just heard they do better in two’s since they can play with the other cat who matches their energy.
@@FaithMancuso yeah i understand that, the market for them over here (England) has been really expensive. Im getting another female. Is yours very vocal? My current one is quiet lol most of the time.
My siamese boy does a lot of similar things, he pulls all the tissues out, knocks things over on purpose, jumps to my shoulders and digs claws for stability, bites my hair and ear if he is mad at me, lol, plays fetch, carries his toys around wailing and brings them to me…he climbs everything but not the walls fortunately and he does not drink from the sink or like to be in water, much more that he does that is very siamese. He is the best and is my guardian… he is super dominant and my only purebred cat ever. We have 3 other cats who he loves to wrestle with. He is the best❤ He does not go outside at all and is too high strung for a leash etc. But my past cats, dsh and forest cats, Siamese mixes were indoor outdoor and leash trained. My first girl went everywhere with me, in the car she sat on the back ledge and she never needed a leash anywhere. I trained her to come when I whistled. Your bengal cats are gorgoeous 😀
Hello again I few things I do to keep Sheba happy. I put a hot water bottle in her sleeping igloo against one side so she can lay next to it for warmth. Wrap bottle in a couple of pillow cases and it stays warm for several hours. The igloo has a cushion inside that I cover with a tee shirt that I have worn so she can smell me. Change tee shirt every three or four days. On the odd occasion Sheba has had to stay at the vets I leave a tee shirt with vet to place in gage to comfort her. Sheba does not like dry cat food. The sachets or tinned food I warm in hot water before opening as well as warming the bowl I put the food in.
We have 3. Never a dull moment in our home. To say they are hyperactive would be an understatement. If you are getting a bengal, or thinking about getting a bengal then you should also consider getting two. They need the stimulation of a companion. Also consider a catio or enclosure with multi level platforms. They love to bask in the sun and watch the birds. They eat so much as well, our food bill for them is as much as our food bill for the two of us. Owning bengal cats is not for the inexperienced cat owner nor is it for the feint hearted. They are not usually lap cats unless trained to be so from birth.
Awh! We have 2 now. We really want a third but are trying to restrain from doing so ahhaha. We love them so much! I definitely wanna do a little update video because their personalities have changed so much!
Say a quick question!!! I’ve had cats and dogs for years but since all my dogs had passed away. We only have one cat left. We also have one neighborhood stray that comes and goes as he pleases. He will disappear for 2-3 days at a time then return and hang out for a day. It’s funny!!! I’ve got pet doors for my cat to go in and out as she wants to. I’ve always believed in the fact a cat kinda chooses its owner. I found the cat I have now as a kitten in a chemical plant stranded. Took her home and fed her. She stayed for several years now and has never left. Do you thing Bengal cats are the same? Or must they be in a more controlled situation such as dogs. My dogs would never run away either so maybe it could have been they way I treated them.
😄👍🏼 have a Snowbengal. Just like that. They Are fantastic but they Need persons with high Level Energy too who love being in connections with them. They Are really fun 🥰
My white female bengal kitty, shes 4 months old, shes skittish, rarely cuddles or stays by my side. shes always in her cat tower. I tried everything, playing a lot every day, treats, i do train her, give her personal space. any advice on getting her close to me?

Honestly with Bengal cats they just need a good outlet and walked daily maybe 3 times a day I dunno how often but I do know you are required to walk them daily and same applies with Savannah cats 1:55 if I were you I wouldn’t worry since it's not as bad as ponds, lakes, and any other still water because they have a lot of parasites and other disgusting things in there
