I think he is absolutely right about just "trying it out", one of the lifts I thought would help me the least, the rack/block pull, has actually been an incredible accessory for my deadlift. My lockout was never weak, but it somehow just made my overall deadlift strength go up.
I'd like to invest in getting myself some chains for my home gym... after I convince myself to buy a new barbell 🤘 As a side note, I appreciate the metal shirts you use for lifting 🤘
Yes for chains for me. Also a cheap way of adding weights if you're home gyming like me. Cheers for your UA-cam work Bryce 👍 But a question can we get your shirts etc in Australia? Your webpage link doesn't seem to work for me. But that could be operator error!🤔
I think that’s exactly what I’m trying to get at here. Experience it, see how they work for you/if you enjoy them. Why not have more tools in the toolbox, y’know?
@@calgarybarbell right, that makes sense! The bar knurling at my gym is so shitty that it’s more likely to see the band damaging the bar than the opposite.
hey bryce, I don't know if you adressed it on another comment or not but I was wondering why did you put fat grips at the end of the bar with the bands? great video as always bud
You made it to this point, you love this shit....ahhhh so true, had me laughing so hard.
Give the man his 100k

Babe wake up, new calgary barbell vid just dropped
Bands for deadlifts helps a lot with teaching you to actually pull hard, and all the way to the top. Prevents lazyness :)

I find banded deadlifts to be the greatest low back exercise even now that I'm not training strength.
Almost to a 100k!! Congrats in advance, CBB!
For my bench chains, bands and weight releasers help it. It works for me that is all that matters!!
bryce fills out that tshirt like a beast
Great if you fail the lift higher up in the ROM like I do for bench
Who is your video editor? Killing the game.
early congrats on 100k bryce!

You definitely can! Link in description should be working.
Never been a fan personally but if you have a specific, reason why not ?

Do you use the stiff or flexible wrist wraps? :)
Flexible for squats, stiff for bench!

Dude i love y tshirt
Me too!
Why is your shoulder injured?
i do indeed love this shit
Sharma ben jij dit??
Why do you use that red thing to wrap the bar on the banded deadlifts?
It protects the bands from getting wrecked by the bars knurling

Only in the bedroom ;)
Sticks and stones may break my bones but bands and chains excite me
Yo
Give me your moustache Bryce.
We all drag our own set of chains... Do it smartly at least
I just gotta make 600 alt accounts and subscribe.
Shouldnt take too long
Are you overhead pressing for shoulder health? Maybe you can progress that and see if it helps the shoulder recovery 💪
