Thank you Andrew for all you faithfully do to bring these experiences to us. I continue to learn from you guys and I always look forward to spending the time with you. And, now I want a Johansen. Time for saving pennies!

Wow beautiful arrangement. And double wow for the generous ukuleles. They are true masterpieces! Kudos to Johansson. The sound of them are magical and other worldly. 🫶🏻

Thank you Andrew, Corey and Kalei for what was an entertaining and really beautiful evening listening to you talk and play. The Johansen instruments are pure magic, and I loved the sound and sustain of the spruce/ koa one and the look and sound of the all koa with the heavier wood. It was delightful to hear you move from being almost overwhelmed by the loveliness of those instruments to relaxing and hearing the music really start to pour out! Andrew's words at the end were very true and quite moving. We do live in most difficult and confusing times and filtering some of that "noise" out and instead focusing on being a good friend, doing the best work, is meaningful and a wonderful thing. Kind thoughts to you.

Where else could you see such gorgeous master luthier ukes played expertly and recorded so professionally. Agree with Kalei. How talented to figure out “Red Room” and be so humble about it. OMG thanks Corey. Keep this going and am sure Johansen and Tyde ukes won’t be around long, all are stunning. Have a peaceful week.

The improvising is soooooooooo good! Love the crisp, clear ring of the notes with the Johansen’s. Just so enjoy being part of these videos,
listening, being transported. Thanks for the joyful noise!

Wow. The natural harmonics on the Johansen ukuleles are something else. As always gents, a joy to listen to you playing and your absorbing discussion about the instruments / luthiers.

I must say Johansen Ukes are real works of art!! I thank you Andrew for sharing them with us. Andrew could you ask Kalei and Corey to do an arrangement of Emerson Lake and Palmer's song From the beginning. Such a cool song and I know they would blow up the room with there version! Thanks guys for such a great pod cast I enjoy every minute. Mahalo.

Just a whole show of exceptional ukuleles. Dessert for the ears. That first song was outrageous, guys. Just so much cool. Those Johansen ukuleles were my favorites, but I can’t pick just one. Mahalo like always for the music.

I have an all Koa Johansen that I bought through the ukulele site. I think it was the second ukulele he built. It has astounding tone and sustain and in addition drop dead gorgeous. Too me these excel at finger style. I've never played a Petros or Tyde or any of the top end customs but I can't imagine they are any better. I would by the Cyprus (I'll trade some sausages for it) but I'd like to stay married.

How much formal music training have Corey and Kalei had? Have they been through music school somewhere? They are such magicians.
