The shape is appealing, i have the wired one. Loved the inital review/first impression - short and tidy, no prolonged rant or anything, good amount of constructive feedback. Keep up the high standards and professionalism. Edit : That blue XM1- *Masterpiece!*
I’m loving the shape; totally agree about the clicks. It seems like the switches are set much closer to the center of the mouse rather than tips of M1/2, which creates a squishiness and travel distance that are bizarre, more so (to me) than 80g in ‘22. Still, shape is king and happy to use it as a main until Endgame preorders drop.
Thanks for the early impressions. Looking forward to your full review vid. I hope that firmware updates address the initial teething problems. Dunno why that Fresh guy was so short and overtly negative with his (didn't even include the usual gameplay footage) - since he's given the wired Burst Pro and the Kone Pro Air very positive reviews, and those mice share a lot of the same 'faults'. I do agree about the price being not so great value at release, but you're always paying very close to RRP when a mouse is brand new. I bought a KPA for less than half price from a big box store in the UK during the Black Friday offers period, and it's become my daily driver.
I get fresh's perspective: 80g is a lot when you play apex on a hard pad and to him the BP air is going to be a straight downgrade from the original since it changes almost nothing else. I'm personally disappointed too. I took apart the air and it's clear that roccat went the lazy route and literally just added a battery to the mouse along with a revised PCB. If they had given the BP shell the kone pro treatment I think this would probably be one of the best mice but as it stands it really is just a "whatever" kind of release. It's still a good mouse, for sure, but that's only because the OG was a great mouse. Also super disappointing that the mouse skate x/y deviation hasn't been revised nor does the mouse come with extra skates in the box.
Thanks for the reply! The weight is certainly the 'headline' problem with this one for the hardcore/mousereview enthusiasts, and yes, it was lazy on the part of the engineers to add the wireless tech and not offset the difference with some re-tooling of the shell. On the other hand, the weight is not too extreme for an almost medium-sized solid shell ambi. with a sh!t tonne of RGB. The latter may appeal to those who want it to sync with PC setups that compete with an arena concert's lightshow. The BPA is likely targeted at a more general audience, despite the blurb and claims on the packaging. A few other competing models are only 5-10 grams lighter, and a good number of them have honeycomb shells. Yes, the XM2w is on the horizon, and should be the gold or even platinum standard for bleeding edge super lightweight wireless mice. The XM shape does divide opinion, so it'll be interesting to see whether folks will adjust to it for the sake of having the best possible sensor and weight. I should've clarified by saying that the mentioning of latency/performance (simply based on a quote from a rep's TikTok) and the main buttons being pure garbage, were perhaps erring on being far too subjective, given that the Kone Pro Air felt no different compared to their own Top 3 in terms of in-game performance, and that you can adapt to the feeling of the Titan Opticals, even on the worst/early iteration - the wired Burst Pro. I'll wait for a couple more reviews to appear, including yours and pzogel's (Techpowerup), and decide whether to wait longer for a price reduction or the MM712. The MasterMouse S was a revelation in terms of shape for me, and I've been dreaming for over four years about a wireless version of it. The MM711 was great in its own right, but I am tired of holes and honeycomb shell designs.
I...had an argument/discussion with him and he deleted his comments so, i don't know. Even if he had a bad unit, he shat on it WAY too hard. Saying "Price-Weight ratio" is the worst - 80g/99€ while overhyping G303 at 75g-150€ is quite the double-standard. His only "super positive" reviews happens to be on Razer products. I get that as a reviewer, he wants to impress Razer reps as they're active members of the Reddit sub. I have 2 RVU's, DA Pro, Orochi, Pro Click all have plenty of downsides , everywhere i read everyone has some kind of issues with Razers quality, while he's gatekeeping Razer almost calling me a lier. As if i have to record all the downsides/complains and he'd probably call it "photoshop". I don't know, it was just way too harsh video. Am vibin from 50 up to 90-95g so, complaining about the weight throughout half the video was cringe to say the least. Roccat doesn't really target r/MouseReviews to begin with just as Logitech did with the G303 SE. They target way bigger audience that would actually buy the mouse. Not a subreddit obsessed with drilling holes and 1000-ish actually active members and only 5-10% of that 1000 that may buy the mouse who would complain even if the mouse was rock solid 40g. Yet Another Mouse Review did way better job, with constructive feedback/criticism rather than hatren and anger.
I bought the white and the blac version. The Black has muted, softer clicks and the white has louder stiffer clicks. But the white one disperses the RGB much much better. But I like the feel of the softer, quieter clicks. decisions decisions...It's weird that an identical mouse model has two very different click witch feels.
yes I have! it is really slow definitely close to GSR but I really don't like it, the weave feels uneven on the hand and it gets really sticky really fast
hello, how do you like g305? is it worth buying? is she reliable? And what do you think if you order a version from china, g304, will there be a difference? I just live in russia, because of the fucking war the prices are huge
@@yetanothermousereview thanks, but I already have two g102 mice, they are perfect, but I would like to try without a wire. Is there anything for the same price as the g305, without a wire, but only better?

I’d there any difference between the coatings?
hello sir.. have you ever used the equate from xraypad? can you tell if it is as slow as gsr or something
yes I have! it is really slow definitely close to GSR but I really don't like it, the weave feels uneven on the hand and it gets really sticky really fast
looks way better in black than i thought
Yeah the low brightness red makes it look like a sith mouse lmao

nope, it's still high. rtings' test results correlate with mine. I assume it probably won't get fixed which is really sad.
really nice paint job on the xm1r
it's actually a cerakote by cryomods!
What's ur go to mouse and mousepad atm?
