1:18 “Irenaeus tells us, there is no secret doctrine concealed in the Church’s common Creed. There is no superior Christianity for intellectuals. The faith publicly confessed by the Church is the common faith of all. This faith alone is apostolic, it is handed down from the Apostles, that is, from Jesus and from God” (March 28, 2007). Thus, this so-called special “knowledge” that the Gnostics claimed to possess was purely fabricated by them, as it did not originate from the Apostles."
@@Post-Trib does this google result below correctly explain to me the concept you refer to as false doctrine? ?? What is progressive revelation of the Trinity? For example, Wayne Grudem writes about the doctrine of the Trinity, that "the doctrine of the Trinity is progressively revealed in Scripture" and "more complete revelation of the Trinity is in the New Testament."[3] Isaiah 48:16 and 63:7-10 are glimpses of the three Persons in the Old Testament while the New Testament is replete ( filled or well-supplied with something.) Another example is the doctrine of the Church. This doctrine is not in the Old Testament. Paul will explain this new doctrine in Ephesians 2:11-3:13. The doctrine of the Church is a Biblical mystery or a truth heretofore not revealed but now revealed by God. There is no rapture in the Old Testament. Christ gave some teaching on the rapture in John 14:1-6. Paul, however, gives the fullest description of the rapture in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The last word on the doctrine of the Holy Spirit is in the Epistles. Before Pentecost, the Holy Spirit did not permanently indwell believers nor were believers baptized by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, "For he dwells with you, and shall be in you ... at that day (Day of Pentecost in Acts 2) you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me (Baptism of the Holy Spirit), and I in you (Indwelling of the Holy Spirit)" (John 14:17 and 20). Paul gives the last phase of progressive revelation on the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in Romans 8:9: "Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his" and the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12:13. Zuck says this about progressive revelation,
@kj1483 What's your point 👉? 👈 Simply posting scripture and connecting to the opinions of men doesn't prove anything. That's called twisting scripture and personal opinion.
An important insight, as usual, from Faydra. I note that until the 1969 liturgical reform, Jan 1 was the Feast of the Circumcision in the 1570 missal traditions. Moreover, in the most ancient of the Roman liturgies (and others) its title was the "Octave of the Lord" and, in fact, appears to have celebrated both the Circumcision and the Presentation(the ritual of purification of Mary and "redemption" for a first born). That would be even better. Too bad when the liturgical reform went "back to the sources" for pre 1570 material they didn't "retrieve" these sources. The Jewish template was not imprinted in the forefront of their minds (well except for Bouyer and perhaps a few others). But even a reversion to the 1570 version of the Feast would be important. I am sure we can find a place to reverently celebrate the Solemnity of the Holy Mother of God (the spiritual Jewish Mother of all Christians❣) elsewhere in the Calendar. Maybe one day.
liturgy is a religious group's customary public worship ritual that involves activities such as praise, thanksgiving, remembrance, supplication, or repentance. Liturgies are a communal way to participate in and respond to the sacred. In Christian tradition, liturgy is a public worship service that involves the community, while sacraments are outward signs of grace instituted by Christ .I needed to google liturgy meaning after reading comments about this interview

To my understanding, even though it is evident from the NT that Jesus/ Yeshua was Jewish in his earthly life, this is not the case since the Ascension according to the teaching of the Apostle Paul. He says that Christ/Messiah should not be viewed according to the flesh any longer for he is head of a new creation in which there is no Jew or gentile (2 Corinthians 5 vs 16-17; Colossians 3:11). Paul also taught that Christ now has a glorified spiritual body, because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15 vs 44-50). Peace to you🌻
Exactly! I mentioned St. Paul immediately in my comment, too. He also said that it does not matter whether one is circumcised or not. Christ is for everyone, Jew or Gentile, Hebrew or Greek, he wrote.
@gailkarrer6041 yes I agree. As natural as it is for us humans to be fascinated with sexuality, I did find it very bizarre that they were so focused on Jesus' circumcision... even in heaven!!
Thank you about sharing this view. We should remember also Mary (Miriam) and Joseph were practising jewish mother and father. Also all the apostles. St Peter also ate kosher food like all the first believers of Jesus (Yeshua). If someone christian feels hate towards jewish people, he/she should go to Israel especially to Jerusalem or Galilea were we have all the evidence about life of Jesus and disciples so that you can touch with your hands the same buildings (like the synagogue of Kapernaum) and walk same roads what Jesus walked etc.
I sincerely do not believe that any Christian hates jewish people. What I do believe is that most Christians who have resentments to self-identifying Jews misinterpret the racial identity with the religious practices of rabbinic judaism which is not acceptable to judaic law. Therefore making it moot. Moreover, while I do not think that Christians are justified by their erroneous misperceptions of assuming a 'Jew' to be practicing rabbinic judaism, I do think it begs for some solid explanations as to why most self-professed jews who claim that they accept Jesus as the Messiah insist on asserting themselves as Jews and not as Christians. In closing, I wholeheartedly believe that most Jews converted long ago, as in the earliest days of the Church. But I also understand that many Eastern European Jews did too in the 1600-1800s during the Hasidic movement. And still, many convert till this very day! But they self-identify as Christian.. In my understanding, it would be like a Hindu that has converted to Chrisitanity self identifying as a Hindu. Or, as a Chaldean/Assyrian who is a Christian that self-identifies as a Babylonian. In response to The Law and eating kosher, St Paul elaborates on the customary dietary intake and concluded that we are not bound to it as long as it sits well within your conscious.
Well said. I believe the danger of Christians dismissing their Jewish and Hebraic roots can’t be overstated. Christianity came directly out of Judaism. Jesus was a Jew who kept the Torah and lived out the commandments. The first Christians were Jewish, and their faith was deeply tied to Jewish traditions. The entire Bible is built on the foundation of the Hebrew Scriptures. Ignoring this connection strips away the depth and meaning of so much of what Christianity teaches. When Christians disconnect from these roots, they risk losing the proper context for understanding key parts of the Bible, like what the Messiah means or why covenants with God matter. Replacement theology is where a lot of this trouble starts. It claims that the Church has replaced Israel in God’s plan, and that all of God’s promises to the Jewish people are now transferred to Christians. But this is a complete misreading of Scripture. Paul makes it very clear in Romans 11 that God has not rejected His people, Israel, and warns Gentile believers against becoming arrogant. He explains that Gentiles are grafted into the “olive tree” of Israel, meaning they are part of the same spiritual family, not a replacement for it. Saying otherwise is not only wrong, but it also undermines the faithfulness of God. If He didn’t keep His promises to Israel, why should Christians trust Him to keep His promises to them? Let’s talk about the arrogance that comes with dismissing Jewish roots or believing in replacement theology. It’s a form of spiritual supremacy, plain and simple. To claim that Christians are now superior to Jews, or that God abandoned the Jewish people, is to speak for God in a way that no one has the right to do. Jesus taught humility and love, not this kind of prideful judgment. Paul even warns against this in Romans 11, reminding Christians that it’s the Jewish roots that support the faith, not the other way around. To forget this and act like Christians are the only ones who matter in God’s plan is ungrateful and dangerous. This kind of thinking isn’t just wrong-it’s also incredibly deceptive. Replacement theology twists the Bible’s message and creates unnecessary division between Christians and Jews. It alienates Jewish people and pushes them further away from understanding Jesus. Historically, it’s caused real harm, fueling anti-Semitism and leading to centuries of persecution. That kind of behavior is as far from Jesus’ teachings as you can get. Christians should be about love, unity, and truth, not arrogance and division. Christians are supposed to be grateful for being grafted into God’s family through Jesus. This is a privilege, not a license to look down on others. Gratitude for this inclusion should inspire humility and respect for the Jewish people and their role in God’s plan. The Jewish roots of Christianity aren’t something to discard-they’re what give the faith its depth and strength. Ignoring them is not just disrespectful; it’s foolish. Christians need to remember that the story of salvation is bigger than them, and it’s not their place to rewrite what God has already said. In the end, rejecting Christianity’s Jewish roots is arrogant and unbiblical. It misrepresents God’s promises, fosters division, and goes against the humility and love that Jesus taught. Christians are called to honor and respect the role of Israel and the Jewish people in God’s plan, not to replace or diminish them. To do otherwise is to step out of line with Scripture and with the very heart of the faith.
@@gotogd1233 When we learn about the first followers of Jesus and judaism at that time we find that Yeshua and his followers were one jewish sect who gathered in the temple of Jerusalem meaning that they kept all mitzvot including ritual bathing before entering the temple area. We see in the Acts that also Paul took ritual bath with nazirites and went into temple for their sacrifice. It took 40 years since the death and resurrexion of Yeshua, that followers of Yeshua kept all main jewish standards. And if we want to follow Yeshuas own words we should keep even all the minor mitzvot. Those who doesn't observe these laws and teach so are the last in the kingdom of heaven. So if we think that we would eat with Yeshua today in some restaurant, I would rather eat same food what our Lord would eat, not eating blood foods, pork or lobsters etc. So why is it so difficult for christians to live like Yeshua do?
Absolutely. Jesus’ Jewish identity is unquestionable. He was born into a Jewish family in Judea, circumcised on the eighth day according to Jewish law, as described in Luke 2:21. Both the Gospels of Matthew and Luke trace his lineage back to King David, fulfilling Jewish Messianic expectations. Throughout his life, Jesus adhered to Jewish customs, celebrated festivals like Passover, and read from the Torah in synagogues. He never strayed from Jewish monotheism or identified with any other religious tradition.
Most Christians will say that the list of Jesus' ancestors in Matthew chapter 1 is through Joseph. The other genealogy found in Luke chapter 3 is through his mother Mary. This is not what you find if you ignore what Church tradition teaches and examine the actual text of the New Testament. Matthew's genealogy is listed below. I have inserted numbers after each person's name to make it easier to identify each person. The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham (1) begat Isaac (2); and Isaac begat Jacob (3); and Jacob begat Judas (4) and his brethren; And Judas begat Phares (5) and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom (6); and Esrom begat Aram (7); And Arambegat Aminadab (8); and Aminadab begat Naasson (9); and Naasson begat Salmon (10); And Salmon begat Booz (11) of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed (12) of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse (13); And Jesse begat David (14) the king; and David the king begat Solomon (15) of her that had been the wife of Urias; And Solomon begat Roboam (16); and Roboam begat Abia (17); and Abia begat Asa (18); And Asa begat Josaphat (19); and Josaphat begat Joram (20); and Joram begat Ozias (21); And Ozias begat Joatham (22); and Joatham begat Achaz (23); and Achaz begat Ezekias (24); And Ezekias begat Manasses (25); and Manasses begat Amon (26); and Amon begat Josias (27); And Josias begat Jechonias (28) and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel (29); and Salathiel begat Zorobabel (30); And Zorobabel begat Abiud (31); and Abiud begat Eliakim (32); and Eliakim begat Azor (33); And Azor begat Sadoc (34); and Sadoc begat Achim (35); and Achim begat Eliud (36); And Eliud begat Eleazar(37); and Eleazar begat Matthan (38); and Matthan begat Jacob (49); And Jacob begat Joseph (40)the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus (41), who is called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. (Matthew 1:1-17) Matthew lists all of the names in his rendition of Jesus' family tree through Joseph all the way back to Abraham. After he is done, he makes a statement that there are three sets of fourteen generations that are said to be listed. He does this because the number fourteen is an important number. It is the number of David’s name in gematria trying to signify kingship. It appears that there is one name missing but the problem is worse than it seems. There are actually four names that Matthew has omitted to make his accounting work. The four names he omitted are: Ahaziah, Jehoash, Amazia and Jehoiakim. This was no arbitrary decision Matthew made. At least one name would present a problem for Jesus when it comes to kingly descendants. Jechonias(28) was a very wicked king but because Matthew doesn't read Hebrew very well, he leaves his name in. He mistakes his father Jehoiakim's name for his son and takes Jehoiakim's name out instead. Jechonias(28) was cursed by God and told that none of his children would sit on the throne in Israel again. Here is the passage. “Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah. (Jeremiah22:30) God is saying that Jechonias (28) will have none of his children sit on the throne. Instead of his son, Salathiel(29) sitting on the throne, Jechonias' (28) brother Zedekiah takes his place. So how do you solve the problem of the cursed lineage. if Matthew is correct and Jesus does come from this lineage then he cannot be eligible to be king.
Now that we know the problems in Matthew's lineage let's examine Luke's account to see what we have. This is the passage. And Jesus (56) himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph (55), which was the son of Heli (54), Which was the son of Matthat (53), which was the son of Levi (52), which was the son of Melchi (51), which was the son of Janna (50), which was the son of Joseph (49), Which was the son of Mattathias (48), which was the son of Amos (47), which was the sonof Naum (46), which was the son of Esli (45), which was the son of Nagge (44), Which was the son of Maath (43), which was the son of Mattathias (42), which was the son of Semei (41), which was the son of Joseph (40), which was the son of Juda (39), Which was the son of Joanna (38), which was the son of Rhesa (37), which was the son of Zorobabel (36), which was the son of Salathiel (35), which was thes on of Neri (34), Which was the son of Melchi (33), which was the son of Addi (32), which was the son of Cosam (31), which was the son of Elmodam (30), which was the son of Er (29), Which was the son o Jose (28), which was the son of Eliezer (27), which was the son of Jorim (26), which was the son of Matthat (25), which was the son of Levi (24), Which was the son of Simeon (23), which was the son of Juda (22), which was the son of Joseph (21), which was the son of Jonan (20), which was the son of Eliakim (19), Which was the son of Melea (18), which was the son of Menan (17), which was the son of Mattatha (16), which was the son of Nathan (15), which was the son of David (14), Which was the son of Jesse (13), which was the son of Obed (12), which was the son of Booz (11), which was the son of Salmon (10), which was the son of Naasson (9), Which was the son of Aminadab (8), which was the son of Aram (7), which was the son of Esrom (6), which was the son of Phares (5), which was the son of Juda (4), Which was the son of Jacob (3), which was the son of Isaac (2), which was the son of Abraham (1), which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor. (Luke 3:23-34) Luke reverses the order in his genealogy and starts with Jesus. I believe this is because he is not a Hebrew but a gentile convert. Although Mary is never mentioned, Church tradition teaches that this is her genealogy. If we look at Judah (4), we realize that the line is through Judah but there is a serious show stopper when it comes to Nathan (15). The Kingship of David flows from Solomon not Nathan. These are the words of God on this matter. He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established forevermore. (1 Chronicles 17:12-14)And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God: But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight. Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever. ( 1Chronicles 22:7-10) Although some Christian apologists would like to use complex theories and arguments this is actually a very simple problem with a very simple solution. Those who want to argue their point have set themselves against The Almighty in this matter and should repent of their rebellion toward Him and accept His Word on this issue. God has plainly said that Solomon's throne will be forever. This means that God is able to make his presence known at any time to anoint a man that He knows is of Solomon's lineage and make him the end-times-king. This will be the messiah that will sit on the throne not Jesus who according to the simplicity of God's Hebrew Scriptures is simply ineligible to be a king over Israel.
I go to a traditional Latin parish and we recognise the Circumcision. Wondering what Dr Faydra thinks of St Catherine's testimony of being espoused to Jesus mystically when HE offered her his foreskin?
This seems ridiculous to me. What happened to the foreskins the priests removed? Do think they saved them? You think everyone is running around with a dried up foreskin? Only the relic lovers would worship such a thing if it even still exists. What is greater the Promises, Birth, wonders, works, life of Christ or His removed skin? The fact His life obeyed the Torah and Jewish traditions, festivals, All God commanded is enough. Don’t make idols of thing sure they may be interdicting or proofs of events but what is greater? Gods presence or the objects around these happenings.
@@RobertAshford-g3u You are terribly confused and misread my comment. I am not sure what your idea of a 'relic lover' is or how you came to believe that only a 'relic lover' would 'worship' such a thing even came to be in your mind. Maybe you could elaborate on your thought process and/;or interpretations of your presupposed ideals? Then you went on to speak of idolatry which is absolutely incredible to me considering the Ark of the Covenant was commanded by GOD ALMIGHTY. GOD commanded that the Ark be covered in GOLD, EMBELLISHED with JEWELS, along with manmade carved images of HEAVENLY things... ie HE also commanded that Moses carve a manmade staff with a snake on it. Therefore do not try to convince me, or yourself, that GOD is a heretic and that HE commanded Moses commit 'idolatry'. You obviously do not understand the purpose of a relic or what the differences of veneration vs worship. Moreover, you cannot process the ideals of what a false idol is in comparison to a miraculous work of GOD worthy to be commended and honoured as such.
The Messiah, now having a Glorified Human Body, not of flesh, yet still bearing the marks of His Birth, as you pointed out, and also of His Death. There is a lesson for us when thinking about our own bodies. We should compare them to a 'Tent' a 'Tabernacle' wherein we dwell. The Messiah entered the World by being born into Flesh, meaning He 'Tabernacled' in flesh with us, dwelling among us. If we look closer at Scripture, we are shown exactly who was entering into the World and who was proclaiming His arrival. Isaiah 40:3, a voice crying in the wilderness prepare the way of יהוה YaHUaH (the LORD). Make straight in the desert a highway לאלהינו La'ALaHaYNU For Our God. If we think carefully about what we read in Scripture, the only conclusion we are being shown is that יהוה YaHUaH is the 'Messiah', 'The Spirit Son' of 'God Our Father' who sent Him to 'Tabernacled' in the flesh with us! From Genesis to Revelation, whether as Spirit or in the Flesh, Man has heard and also seen Him. Our Father, who is in Heaven, no Man has seen Him, only the Eternal Son who was with the Father has made Him known, John 1:18. THE NAME השם, EXPLAINED TO US BY THE MESSIAH NASB John 17:6-12 6, “I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have followed Your word. 7, Now they have come to know that everything which You have given Me is from You; 8, for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. 9, I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but on the behalf of those whom You have given Me, because they are Yours; 10, and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. 11, I am no longer going to be in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, so that they may be one just as We are. 12, While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, which You have given Me". John the Baptist, when asked by the Jews, "who are you", he said, "I am a voice crying in the wilderness, as said Isaiah the Prophet", John 1:23. Interestingly, John the Baptist went in the Spirit and Power of Elijah, preparing the Jews for the coming of יהוה YaHUaH their God, Luke 1:15-17. The Messiah confirmed this to be so, Matthew 11:14 In the Book of Revelation 14:1, shows us that the Name יהוה YaHUaH is a Family Name given to those who believe. John said, "And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty and four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. These Named ones are from the 'Twelve Tribes of Israel! May you be blessed.
And He prayed the Amidah that we’ve been praying since 500 B.C.E. and STILL pray to this day… and He prayed to HASHEM. Why does everyone assume that the “one new man” is uncircumcised? 😂 The Olive Tree in Romans 11 is NOT being grafted into Israel. There’s no need for Jew envy. If the push was all about being a second class Israel and being a Jew then Paul and the rest of the Apostles would have just let everyone be circumcised…. But if everyone got circumcised and became Jews.. then WHO will be the Gentiles called by HIS NAME that Amos 9 speaks of? THAT and the acceptance of Cornelius and his family by HASHEM by the outpouring of HIS Holy Spirit on them was why the Jerusalem council decided on continuing the Noachide to the Gentiles… not to mention that Circumcision was “A sign between ME and the children of Israel.” Again, the push isn’t to try to be Israel, or supersessionism/replacement theology to REDEFINE Israel, but to be accepted as HIS Child because of your repentance from a life contrary to HIS Commandments THAT APPLY TO YOU…. But hey…. If you wanna keep all the Mitzvot you can out of your love for HASHEM! LETS KEEP HIS MITZVOT TOGETHER!!! For the sake of HIS righteousness HE MAGNIFIED HIS Torah!!!! How much I love buying my sons legos and showering them with special outings and things when they obey and behave!!! HOW MUCH MORE does ABBA want us to obey HIM so that HE can shower us!!!! Because it ISN’T about Gnosticism… Revelations 22:12 doesn’t say that He will repay every man according to his “correct” theology… Revelations 22:14 doesn’t say “Blessed are those who have the “correct” beliefs about the Messiah for those will have the right to the tree of life (the resurrection to life) and may enter The City (New Jerusalem). Messiah didn’t say in John 4:22 that ‘Salvation is of “THE CHURCH”’… The Salvation of the world isn’t dependent on The Church being able to articulate the gospel correctly… Nor did Messiah say make BELIEVERS of all nations… There will not be a Theology Exam handed out at the entrance to The Kingdom… The Salvation of Israel and the World isn’t dependent on the Church’s persuasiveness, salesmanship, and close ratio of the gospel… because if it were…. L-RD help us all! NO PRESSURE! How many Jews died UNPROVOKED to jealousy in the Crusades and Inquisitions? The MYSTERY of Romans 11:25-27 of HOW… HASHEM can simultaneously REQUIRE the Revelation of Yeshua as Messiah, yet HIMSELF temporarily blind Israel to this Gnostic Necessity, and yet also save ALL of LITERAL Israel… without having to REDEFINE who Israel is … Because not only CAN HE do it…HE WILL do it!!! The Second Blessing of the Amidah that Paul the Pharisee prayed , called GEVUROT, aka MIGHT… that DEATH does not and CANNOT separate us from the love of G-D… Especially not the love of G-D in Messiah Yeshua… and what is the love of G-D in Messiah Yeshua if it ISN’T Salvation , not salvation from ACCOUNTABILITY like Evangelicals believe, but salvation from HIS Wrath on the day of judgement … The Apostle to the Jews, 1 Peter 3:18-20 shows us that those who have died in disobedience can still be saved! UMATIR ASSURIM, He released the captive spirits. That the Gospel can be preached even to the dead! 1 Peter 4:6, and WHY preach the gospel to the dead if the dead CAN’T be saved? Evangelicals are the Sola Scriptura Sadducees of today, at least the Catholic Church believes it’s possible , “the harrowing of hell” they call it. In Isaiah 49:5-6 we see the job of Messiah…. And we see that the salvation of Israel was TOO LIGHT a thing , not too heavy… 5 times in Peter he tells us about a FUTURE revelation of Messiah Yeshua…. So where does it say in the Scripture that it can’t happen in the after-LIFE? Where does it say in Zechariah 12:10 that we will look upon Him we have pierced… BUT BY THEN IT IS TOO LATE…. Where is that in Scripture? I see that Israel will be saved by HASHEM with an EVERLASTING SALVATION, and we will NOT be disappointed (Isaiah 45:17). I see that ALLLLLLL the offspring of Israel will be justified in THE L-RD and will rejoice! (Isaiah 45:25) And ALLLLL LITERAL ISRAEL will know HIM from the least to the greatest without ANYONE needing to be taught! And HE will forgive our sin and remember our iniquity no more! (Jeremiah 31:34). When you see a playground get bombed in Israel… you don’t have to pray that it was a MESSIANIC Jewish playground… because if it wasn’t that their 14 little Jewish souls will also burn in Gehenna for eternity after being murdered by terrorists… because they died before doing the sacraments, they died before saying the magical prayer, they died before HASHEM HIMSELF revealed HIS Son to them…. We are not Sadducees. We don’t believe that HIS mercy stops just because their heart stops. We believe HIS Mercy endures forever. We don’t believe that HIS ARM is too short to save those who have died. We don’t believe that death is an obstacle for He who has the power OVER sin and OVER death… “Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your Presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there!” Psalms 139:7-8 For HE is not the G-D of the dead, but of the living, for ALLLLL are alive to HIM. Shalom
God gave the circumcision to Abraham and in Scripture and archaeology, Israel was not the only nation to circumcise. Famously in Jeremiah 29, God condemns those who circumcise and ironically even includes the Egyptians who had circumcision (their priests did) before Abraham and are likely the ones who taught him about it. Jesus Himself corrects the Jews about that in the Book of John, saying that circumcision was not given to Moses but to Abraham. That’s also why Zipporah knew what to do when God was going to kill Moses, as she too was a Hebrew by virtue of being a Midianite. That’s why she called him who she thought before was Egyptian a “husband of blood.” Thus, the Church, the family of Abraham the redeemed, has always included many nations. Israel was just the firstborn among many brothers and thus had the right and duty to redeem and atone for the family. But Israel failed. So Jesus, the firstborn and heir ruler and priest over Israel, fulfilled that once and for all for all mankind by fulfilling Israel’s redemption of Abraham’s family which was also to redeem all of humanity, as Abraham is the third Adam figure in the Bible. Also, unfortunately your history is skewed. There was a lot of provocation that led to the Crusades, as Muslims destroyed and violently overthrew Christian lands and continued to try to invade for centuries up to and through the Crusades (Eastern Rome didn’t fall by itself). And Jews aided Muslims, especially in Spain, betraying their Christian sponsors and protectors. That’s why the Inquisition affected Jews too. Just gotta read the history written by both sides, actually. Older Jewish sources openly admit to helping the Muslims subjugate and subvert the Christian natives of Hispania in exchange for social and monetary power.
@ “betraying their Christian sponsors” who forced them to eat pig and renounce Torah just like Antiochus did or die… where is the lie? Have you read 2 Maccabees chapter 7? As the Crusaders burned down the Synagogues INTENTIONALLY murdering Jewish women and children and forcing conversion with a Jew saying SHEMA YISRAEL at the sharp end of their sword… where is the lie? How many Jews were invited to the Council of Nicea in 325 AD? Anyways, the past is the past. We learn from it and grow from it. In 1 Peter 3:18-20, those who died in disobedience are set free. Umatir Assurim. He sets the captives free. If the gospel can be preached to the dead then the dead can be saved (1 Peter 4:5-6) The salvation of Israel is not dependent on the church and Gnosticism , it is dependent on HIM. And HE will do it because HE said HE will do it. “I will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel, and will build them as at the first. I will pardon ALL their iniquities by which they have sinned against ME and by which they have transgressed against ME.” Jeremiah 33:7-8 Shalom ❤️
But even Paul said that it doesn't matter if one is circumcised or not! Neither of these women mention that. We don't need to return to Judaism to understand Christianity. Everyone knows Jesus was a Jew! Everyone knows about the Passover, the temple, the Jewish customs, etc. It is what is in the NEW TESTAMENT which concerns us, whereas all Jews says Jesus was an imposter, and the Talmud presents Mary as an ignorant and adulterous woman, Pantera. There is even a reference to Christ in excrement! It is true that Jews are our brothers in believing in the God of Israel, but we are never united as long as they don't recognize Christ as the True Messiah. It's as simple as that, and we still pray for their conversion, which is supposed to happen en masse in the End Times, as the entire planet sees Him, the True God of the Universe.
This is all true, and there are other things to consider. There is the circumcision as you mentioned (Romans 2:29, Galatians 5:1-5) and as far as understanding Judaism we have the Old Testament for that, and don't need to understand modern Rabbinic Judaism because there are too many theological differences. The Rabbinic Judaism of today is not the same faith as the Old Testament Israelites, and in John 14:16 we are told that Jesus is the "truth life and the way, and no one can come to the father but through him." I think that pretty much clears up the division between Christians and the Rabbinic Jews, Jesus and his disciples were not Rabbinic Jews and wouldn't have understood this religion.
True enough. Except that Jesus had to be circumcised in order to fulfill the covenant with Abraham. He had to be born of a woman in order to fulfill the prophecy to Eve. Although Jesus is God & gave the covenants & laws to Abraham & Israel, Jesus had to live under & fulfill his own words & laws given to the Jews.
Yashua and the Apostles had only the Torah to lead them. Paul secluded himself to study Torah and plumb the Christs truth from this guided by the Spirit. I am so glad that Christians are finally getting up to speed about the love of their neighbor and that Yashua came to the Jews first then the gentiles. There is an ordered preference and leadership that the Jews have in this Gift from Heaven. As Paul said gentiles are Grafted into the original branches of Gods people. All the understanding of Torah and history the passing down of tradition, festivals, sufferings, obedience, the stories/metaphors and revival of what God wanted for humanity is with the Hebrew nation.
The Pharisees rejected Christ, and the blessing was passed on to a new nation (Matthew 21:33-46) that being the church which was founded by Jesus and the Apostles. The Jews who accepted this message became known as Christians through history, and did what the Israelite nation was supposed to do teach the world the Torah. The Pharisees who became the people we call Jews are covenant breakers, and therefore they do not have the blessing.
Hi.On circumcision of flesh,it's a way for Jew to keep.Yet i dont think it was ment for all non Jews to also embark upon the act.Paul mentions abit about the circumcision issue. I think I could believe that the quote of👉 the flesh is weak and the spirit is strong. If man is circumcised like Abraham, the flesh is weaker. By the way, muslims are not circumcised like Abraham. They use ring-method circumcision.Me personally will say the islamic way is an artificial non covanant technique.
Of course not, only Jews are bound by the 613 commandments. Non-Jews have 7 commandments to follow. The Noahide Laws. Circumcision is not included in the Noahide Laws. The Noahide Laws, are the seven universal commandments given to all humanity through Noah after the flood. These laws serve as a moral and ethical framework for non-Jews and include prohibitions against idolatry, blasphemy, murder, theft, sexual immorality, and eating the limb of a living animal, as well as the obligation to establish courts of justice. Circumcision, however, is a specific commandment given exclusively to Abraham and his descendants as a sign of the covenant, as outlined in Genesis 17:9-14. This commandment is unique to the Jewish people and is one of the 613 mitzvot, not a universal law for all humanity. Non-Jews are not obligated to perform circumcision under the Noahide framework, as it serves as a covenantal marker specific to Jewish males. While circumcision is central to Jewish identity, it is not required for those outside the covenant. If a non-Jew wants to participate in any additional commandments, they’re free to do so, but not obligated.
His Hebrew name is Yeshua. I am a messianic believer from the gentile side. The Catholic Church and the protestant denominations got many things wrong. A lot of the Bibles promises that God gave were first to the Jewish people. The church needs to realize that they were grafted into the natural olive tree but the gentiles were the wild olive route that was grafted in and God is now drafting the Jewish people back into that olive route as the apostle Paul talks in Romans chapter 9 to 11
If God wanted to start a new covenant with humanity, why did he choose a Jew? After all, he knows that we are a hard-hearted people, and if it's new(covenant), why not some Chinese or Aboriginal, because only from Judaism will salvation(YESHUA) come.
@ I appreciate your love for Messiah and I share that love. My point is that No baby is born a sinner because of Adam. All flesh die because of Adam but each man bears his own sin. “The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.” Ezekiel 18:20 “Original Sin” The doctrines and traditions of man do not supersede The Word of G-D. Miriam was not perfect and her lineage is from Adam, and Messiah is from her. The Messiah must be born of the seed of King David, of the tribe of Judah, and through Solomon, all men from Adam… if Messiah was not a literal descendent of Solomon, he would be disqualified from being the Messiah. Just like you have an eternal soul, that makes you who you are, that came from G-D , that is your subconscious, the soul of Messiah was The Memra, The Divine Logos, The Word that HASHEM, WHO has no beginning, SPOKE in the beginning…. and BEGOT HIS Yachid, HIS ONLY Begotten Son… the firstborn of all creation… our King, The One HE Appointed, The One HE Annointed, The Annointed One, Messiah ❤️
@@Sz-q2q There is a 3rd century church doctrine that is very common called “original sin” that many people subscribe to that, but that is contrary to Scripture. “The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.” Ezekiel 18:20 That’s why I said, if someone believes that a baby is born a sinner then that person also has to believe baby Jesus was born a sinner. Because He was fully man. If not, then His temptation was insincere , and His sufferings and obedience were disingenuous as He had an advantage no one else had. Either He emptied Himself of His Divinity or He didn’t… either babies are born sinners or they are not, you can’t have it both ways. He was a baby born of a sinner with a Geneology leading up to Adam just like the rest of us.
The new testament is unbiblical and no jesus is t jewish. He isnt from the teibe of jidah as he is not feom the loins of king david. Stop your nonsense.
@justchilling704 the sad thing about people like you is you have access to what I am talking about but you would rather sit in Idolatry because you are comfortable there. Numbers 1 tells us ancestral house is passed from blood father to blood father to blood son and not stepfather to stepson or mother to son which means Joseph's lineage and Mary's lineage do not matter when it comes what tribe a person is f I'm as the blood father delegates what tribe a person is from. Who is Jesus blood father from the house of king David from the house of king Solomon?
In Christianity there in neither Jew nor Greek. We are all one in Christ.
Exactly. Zionism has got people fooled with this dispensationalist theology.
Still, Yeshua is JEW.
There's no man or woman too, right?
1:18 “Irenaeus tells us, there is no secret doctrine concealed in the Church’s common Creed. There is no superior Christianity for intellectuals. The faith publicly confessed by the Church is the common faith of all. This faith alone is apostolic, it is handed down from the Apostles, that is, from Jesus and from God” (March 28, 2007). Thus, this so-called special “knowledge” that the Gnostics claimed to possess was purely fabricated by them, as it did not originate from the Apostles."
Which means that the progressive revelation of the trinity is false doctrine and contradicts God's doctrine of one.
@@Post-Trib does this google result below correctly explain to me the concept you refer to as false doctrine? ??
What is progressive revelation of the Trinity?
For example, Wayne Grudem writes about the doctrine of the Trinity, that "the doctrine of the Trinity is progressively revealed in Scripture" and "more complete revelation of the Trinity is in the New Testament."[3] Isaiah 48:16 and 63:7-10 are glimpses of the three Persons in the Old Testament while the New Testament is replete ( filled or well-supplied with something.)
Another example is the doctrine of the Church.

Simply posting scripture and connecting to the opinions of men doesn't prove anything.
In Christian tradition, liturgy is a public worship service that involves the community, while sacraments are outward signs of grace instituted by Christ

Jesus' circumcision... Roy Schroeder had an awesome video on the subject. Yes I'm Catholic ❤

The fact that anyone should feel cringe over it, or needs your well thought reminder is sad. But nice post.
(Matthew 1:1-17)
Matthew lists all of the names in his rendition of Jesus' family tree through Joseph all the way back to Abraham.
(Luke 3:23-34)
Luke reverses the order in his genealogy and starts with Jesus.
( 1Chronicles 22:7-10)
Although some Christian apologists would like to use complex theories and arguments this is actually a very simple problem with a very simple solution.
Wasn't raised religious so uh .. What.

THE NAME השם, EXPLAINED TO US BY THE MESSIAH
NASB John 17:6-12
6, “I have revealed Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have followed Your word.
The Messiah confirmed this to be so, Matthew 11:14
In the Book of Revelation 14:1, shows us that the Name יהוה YaHUaH is a Family Name given to those who believe.
The Olive Tree in Romans 11 is NOT being grafted into Israel.
Because it ISN’T about Gnosticism… Revelations 22:12 doesn’t say that He will repay every man according to his “correct” theology…
Revelations 22:14 doesn’t say “Blessed are those who have the “correct” beliefs about the Messiah for those will have the right to the tree of life (the resurrection to life) and may enter The City (New Jerusalem).
Messiah didn’t say in John 4:22 that ‘Salvation is of “THE CHURCH”’…
The Salvation of the world isn’t dependent on The Church being able to articulate the gospel correctly…
Nor did Messiah say make BELIEVERS of all nations…
There will not be a Theology Exam handed out at the entrance to The Kingdom…
The Salvation of Israel and the World isn’t dependent on the Church’s persuasiveness, salesmanship, and close ratio of the gospel… because if it were….
The Second Blessing of the Amidah that Paul the Pharisee prayed , called GEVUROT, aka MIGHT… that DEATH does not and CANNOT separate us from the love of G-D…
Especially not the love of G-D in Messiah Yeshua… and what is the love of G-D in Messiah Yeshua if it ISN’T Salvation , not salvation from ACCOUNTABILITY like Evangelicals believe, but salvation from HIS Wrath on the day of judgement …
The Apostle to the Jews, 1 Peter 3:18-20 shows us that those who have died in disobedience can still be saved!
And we see that the salvation of Israel was TOO LIGHT a thing , not too heavy…
5 times in Peter he tells us about a FUTURE revelation of Messiah Yeshua….
(Isaiah 45:25)
And ALLLLL LITERAL ISRAEL will know HIM from the least to the greatest without ANYONE needing to be taught!
We don’t believe that death is an obstacle for He who has the power OVER sin and OVER death…
“Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your Presence? If I ascend up into heaven, You are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there!”
Psalms 139:7-8
For HE is not the G-D of the dead, but of the living, for ALLLLL are alive to HIM.
That’s why she called him who she thought before was Egyptian a “husband of blood.”
Thus, the Church, the family of Abraham the redeemed, has always included many nations.
The suffering of the innocent atones for the prosperity of the wicked… in the after-LIFE HE will repay each man according to HIS deeds, not his Gnosticism or according to the “correctness” of his theologies and beliefs.
I pray blessings on you and your family
@ HOW , ALL ISRAEL will be saved
“Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘The L-RD G-D says: “Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into Eretz-Israel. You will know that I am the L-RD, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. I will put My Spirit in you, and you will live. Then I will place you in your own land; and you will know that I, the L-RD, have spoken it and performed it,” says the L-RD.’”
Ezekiel 37:12-14
Death is not an obstacle
for HIM.
Death cannot separate us from HIS love.
This is the MYSTERY of Romans 11:25 of HOW ALL Israel will be saved after being blinded for the time being by HASHEM HIMSELF to the revelation of the identity of HIS Mashiach.
In 1 Peter 3:18-20, those who died in disobedience are set free. Umatir Assurim. He sets the captives free.
If the gospel can be preached to the dead then the dead can be saved (1 Peter 4:5-6)
The salvation of Israel is not dependent on the church and Gnosticism , it is dependent on HIM.
And HE will do it because HE said HE will do it.
“I will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel, and will build them as at the first. I will cleanse them from ALL their iniquity by which they have sinned against ME. I will pardon ALL their iniquities by which they have sinned against ME and by which they have transgressed against ME.”
Jeremiah 33:7-8

But they denied their Messiah, therefore there is no hope for them
The Pharisees rejected Christ, and the blessing was passed on to a new nation (Matthew 21:33-46) that being the church which was founded by Jesus and the Apostles. The Jews who accepted this message became known as Christians through history, and did what the Israelite nation was supposed to do teach the world the Torah. The Pharisees who became the people we call Jews are covenant breakers, and therefore they do not have the blessing.
@@gailkarrer6041You must not be a Christian.
Oh come on... (01:35) "Jesus still has the marks of His crucifixion even now, in Heaven"?? i know Hebrew grammar is unique, but...

If baby’s are born sinners then so was baby Jesus
No. Jesus is divine and therefore born without sin.
The righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.”
Ezekiel 18:20
“Original Sin” The doctrines and traditions of man do not supersede The Word of G-D.
How is a baby a sinner. It didn't conceive itself the parents did. You're saying sin of the DNA is a thing?
@@Sz-q2q There is a 3rd century church doctrine that is very common called “original sin” that many people subscribe to that, but that is contrary to Scripture.
“The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be on him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.”
Ezekiel 18:20
That’s why I said, if someone believes that a baby is born a sinner then that person also has to believe baby Jesus was born a sinner.
@@nishisingh227 Did He strip Himself of His Divinity or Not?

@justchilling704 the sad thing about people like you is you have access to what I am talking about but you would rather sit in Idolatry because you are comfortable there.
Numbers 1 tells us ancestral house is passed from blood father to blood father to blood son and not stepfather to stepson or mother to son which means Joseph's lineage and Mary's lineage do not matter when it comes what tribe a person is f I'm as the blood father delegates what tribe a person is from. Who is Jesus blood father from the house of king David from the house of king Solomon?
You murdered him. So whats your point, Shmata?
