- We are finally getting back to the SCX24 Gladiator and are building it out to be an LCG Comp Crawler. In Part 1 of there series, we tackle the links and chassis with some offerings from Injora. Enjoy!

All of my Axials are shorter wheelbase rigs. Following this to see how yours turns out. Appreciate the thoughtful approach to your upgrades. Liked & subbed. Cheers!
Very good video, have a c10 with ss high-clearance and steering-links, also 39mm oil shocks. Proline Hyrax tires. My rule is no cutting of lexan, keeps me away from big tires :) I ran it stock a few times, changed servo, ran it, changed to ss-links. Good fun to take it slow with hop-ups.
The longer travel of the shocks had the most performance impact, the smallest spring for low stance/cg but travel for more articulation.
That’s a good tip! And it sounds like you have a pretty dope little setup!
Got my sub and I Just started building my scx24. Gladiator immoral fat viper which I love injora brass bead locks and injora mud terrain tires with brass knuckles and diff covers 😊 I have so much more to do but I’m getting there another 150 or so dollars and it will be all better😂😂
Thanks for the video Steve, it helped a lot in my decision to go with the Injora LCG for my Gladiator. Also bought some LGR 57mm Swamp Kings and brass rims. I don’t like a lot of extra weight, but the heavy wheels are a must.
@@The_Other_Road you’re very welcome, thanks for watching! I finally am picking up this build again and I’m hoping to have the next video ready to go in a couple weeks
Staying tuned. 🚙✌
Glad to hear it!
Nice upgrades

Thanks, stay tuned for more!
Steve! Did you hear about the RC park that opened up in West Valley? I just saw a ksl article about and thought of you!
No I had no idea! But I don’t live in Utah anymore, I’ve moved to New England. But some days I really miss the crawling out there, you’ll have to let me know how the park is!
I used to run a bunch of BBs in my tires when I had my LCG setup. It's basically cheat mode on these little things. Definitely worth trying out if your motor can handle the extra weight. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this series turns out. Are you thinking of doing a max performance build or do you want it to at least resemble a normal truck when you're done?
Oh yeah, the old bbs trick! We used to do that way back in the early days of crawling! I’m not yet totally sure of the end result, but I think it will be somewhere in between
My oldest gladiator is the most capable. I actually finally had to upgrade the servo
I’m really looking forward to seeing this come together. It’s such a fun truck to drive already, it’s going to be a blast once it’s done
I have a Mazz designs cheat code xl v2 to build a gladiator length build. I have a different body since I already have 2 gladiators already
I love that chassis, I just had a hard time justifying the cost for one. Maybe if this eventually turns into a truck I drive pretty regularly, I’ll upgrade
First mod should be wheels and tires.
Oh for sure, it would definitely have a bigger impact than a chassis swap. But I was curious if I would see any improvement over a stock setup. Tires and wheels will be next
The grinding method would have been useful. Thanks for the content regardless
I’m not familiar with the grinding method, what is it?
