Ok, so, I might be recalling wrong, but in the the first one of these, didn't Bonzo attack Martin? If so, could it be that Bonzo was in fact, being a good boy? Perhaps he was protecting one of the kids and that's how he died, or could it be that's how Martin dies? Bonzo saw/figured out that Martin killed the kids and went on the attack. Ash: Here's what you do. Gain your target's trust. Wait for them to go to sleep, and then inject insulin under their tongue. Drive the body an hour away from the place of the killing, then bury them ten feet deep. Fill the hole halfway up, then put a dead animal there. That way, if the police suspect the body is there and bring dogs, they think the dog was just smelling the animal. Then finish filling in the hole. Macey says “daddy can you sing me a lullaby” But she gets a reply of “mommy and daddy aren’t here” so… do we perhaps think that Martin and Arthur are identical twins? And that’s why Macey is confused and perhaps why the brother was able to sleep with the wife? If they look identical the uncle may have been able to trick her or something no? 🤔

Babies/toddlers like jack-in-the-boxes. It's very much an infant toy in my experience, it's kinda like jangling keys 2.0, when they've got enough motor skills to jangle it themselves. They like the jump scare, they like that they control it, and proportionally speaking it only needs very basic gross motor skills function. But yeah it's a toy with a very short shelflife these days when you're only having a couple kids. And there's other noisy toys that can entertain them better. Was a banger kids toys pre-1950 though.
Life makes so much more sense knowing that it was actually ash that has been the haunting sentient smoke cloud. It's alll coming together. I'll piece this case.

One thing I'd like to mention that is just very creepy and cool is the line "How about I make you a toy that can sing forever?" that Martin delivers to his daughter is quite literally him telling her he is going to make her become a toy that can sing forever: Sophia.
I knew Ash read a least some type of fanfiction once she mentioned the exclamation point AU (!au). Only confirmed my suspicion when she brought up Ao3 lol 😆😆
45:45 I just wanted to point out that it sounds like footsteps (which could be any of them) but then it sounds like a high-pitched bark (Banzo in his small form) and then a growl and a low pitched very aggressive bark (Banzo in his big form) just before the girl screams. So I think that Martin transformed the dog and is using the dog to do some of the killings. Banzo is a "good boy" therefore I think that's what it's pointing to. The dog is the obedient one, but the rest of the family is furious with Martin. I also feel like the dog is trying to disobey at times because it's angry too (such as when he moves when he's not supposed to), but he's afraid of Martin the most so he obeys because he can't understand, hence the "blind eye". He's turning a blind eye out of fear. Not only did he witness the deaths, but he was also a part of them. Another theory of mine is about Henry. I believe (since Arthur said kids before) that a son was the first one to die (possibly because he didn't listen to his father and that got him into an accident or he didn't listen and his father lashed out, hence the knife in the eye which is why Henry can't see). This caused Martin to become angry in his grief and he put his son in Henry. Henry feels like the first death to me which is why I'm throwing this out there. Because of this, the wife starts drifting away from Martin because he's clearly becoming unstable and dangerous. She trusts Arthur who has come to support the family in their loss and asks him for help. In his instability, Martin assumes that they're part of an affair. Sometime during all of this, the dog gets hit and Martin turns him into Banzo. He then uses Banzo as his successful creation to gain control over his family, but instead, he ends up creating animatronic demons of his past who are out to get him. This leads to the tape where the clown is watching the self-help thing. He's trying to forget his sins, but they are haunting him which is why he can see the characters in them and it ends with "not even your brother". He can't forget and the souls he killed won't let him either (hence Henry saying everybody is angry, they aren't at peace).
I would like to recommend playing a nancy drew game. They are detective point and click games. I would specifically recommend the ghost of Thornton hall. It's an amazing game, and I would love to see your rection to it. 😊
I recommend watching Battington’s “My two front Teeth” video, I was rewatching some of his vids when I stumbled upon a comment that described what happens for viewers like me who can’t take watching the entire video while not scrolling through the comments to feel better lmao, but it gives a description on who’s who of more specifically a certain Jester and an Ice Cream Man🥴
I think in the “rest assure” video, the reason we see the clown in the reflection, is because (as you said) the clown is watching it. As I said before, I believe that the clown is Martin. Maybe after getting murdered by his own family/creations and getting stuffed into a clown costume, he’s trying to rehabilitate his mind, because he realizes something’s wrong with himself. I have a strong suspicion that Martin is choosing to watch that mind rehabilitation video, I just don’t know why. If you have any guesses please tell me
Opon watching more of the video, I see now why Martin is watching the mental rehabilitation video. Its because he’s guilty about killing everyone. (Which I probably would’ve known if I’d watched literally 6 seconds more before commenting). Now I’m not sure if we see martins creations because he’s hallucinating them, or if they’re already in the video. (Again, this might’ve already been answered in the rest of the video, but I’m just taking notes here
So yeah, I guess it actually IS in the video (maybe the souls are haunting the vhs tapes which would make sense) Also, I think it’s safe to say now that Arthur is (I think) martins brother, because we see the ice cream man (Arthur) when the text says “not even your brother” either that or I’m just totally misinterpretating this
18:00 I noticed the reflection in the next clip before it was full screen! Had to pause and look again, to confirm. So proud of myself for thinking like a theorist!
“Hey daddy, you have time to make an entire toy, but can’t sing me frickin Baa Baa Black Sheep!?” Just another one of Ash’s many moments that solidify her place as my favorite GTLive crew members.

I wonder if there is any significance to the shadow looking like there are no eyes when gigabonzo turns to face the camera 12:02 you can see a bright spot in the shadow, almost like the light is passing through both sockets. It could be alluding to it having a soul I suppose... 49:14 Looks like human eyes in the sockets
25:38 this definitely gives me the vibe of, like, another entity attempting to merge with and gain control of a host body? Like, especially the line abt 'your breaths may not feel like your own' screams to me of something else attempting to pilot an unfamiliar host
This is the first time i've heard "Inchworm" in about 22 years. I never heard anyone else aside from our school singing it. My brain broke for a second remembering it.
I’ve noticed that sometimes the toys have real eyeballs. Banzo has real eyes in the scene where he’s got both eyes, ice cream man has real eyes in the gore scene. I’m willing to bet putting the subject’s eyes in the toy has something to do with the process.
Theory: When we first see the clown, it is in a yellow room. We can here Martin talking to someone in the background. We all assume it was Macy, but what if it was one of martins family members who were murdered? I think it was Arthur because it seems that Arthur was the one that wanted revenge on Martin. As we see in the meditation tape when it says “no one can hurt you, not even your brother.” I think that Martin was talking to ice cream man (who is Arthur) who then kills Martin and puts him into the clown costume, animatronic, etc. Whitehall would explain why Martin is watching the meditation tape as the clown. And why there are jack in the boxes that depict the clown. Another thing is I don’t think that those are the back rooms. While eerily resembling them, I think it is martins house. I think that that is where those who have been murdered are. Which would explain ice cream man hiding around the corner when we get told to look behind us.
Matpat saying that he feels bad not spending more time with his kid (and it sounds like 15-30 minutes at most) is so sweet and heartwarming I genuinely cried. I can't imagine my dad taking that amount of time just to talk to me.
33:42 - I have a feeling that Martin (AKA the "clown") was murdered at this point; thus explaining the iron rod or pole shoved into his back. Probably somebody (or dare I say, "something") was avenging Arthur's death. This crap gets even darker than FNAF! I mean I know FNAF that was pretty dark too, i.e. murdered kids, people, and a psychopath, etc. etc.; but THIS takes it to a-whole-nother level than that!
My theory: Matt and Steph were doing a summoning of the theory gods by burning gt merch and from the flames emerged the being they named Ash, due to the amount of ash that was left over from the summoning.
I’m adding my voice to the group of people suggesting Monument Mythos for Matt to discover. It’s an absolute masterclass in analog horror and transcends all the way to the heaven/hell of the genre
Hey Matt Patt you should revisit outer wilds It’s really good and you were distracted your first play of it I think you could do some cool live theory crafting while you try to figure it all out It even has amazing dlc content that really adds to the story

My mind didn't register when Mat said 'warehouse'. I just kept thinking of a werewolf x house hybrid
“Werehouse” is the “werewolf x house” ship name
With me being a non native english speaker, this is where my mind wandered to as well hahaha

That Cybert Channel made a reaction series as well that I recommend
Ok, so, I might be recalling wrong, but in the the first one of these, didn't Bonzo attack Martin? If so, could it be that Bonzo was in fact, being a good boy? Perhaps he was protecting one of the kids and that's how he died, or could it be that's how Martin dies? Bonzo saw/figured out that Martin killed the kids and went on the attack. (as any good, loyal dog would do) and the missing eye could be a reference to the phrase 'an eye for an eye." ?
i think that bonzo attacked arthur which is why he says "the thing almost killed me last night" in the goodbye arthur video

I will respect your feelings, but I will say I disagree with the idea. That is all I wanna say without like three paragraphs worth of writing.
Ash: Here's what you do. Gain your target's trust. Wait for them to go to sleep, and then inject insulin under their tongue. Insulin doesn't show up on a normal drug test, and even if they test specifically for insulin, they'll assume it was undiagnosed diabetes. Drive the body an hour away from the place of the killing, then bury them ten feet deep. Fill the hole halfway up, then put a dead animal there. That way, if the police suspect the body is there and bring dogs, they think the dog was just smelling the animal. Then finish filling in the hole. I got this from a reddit post, don't remember who said it, but props to whomever that was.
It's kind of scary to think that there is an arsonist betwixt y'all, as well.
👁👄👁 what
Noted. Wait how much insulin is needed
You don't need insulin if they never find the body. Choking or a poison will probably do it. You could also hide the body by ea... you know what, I'm not gonna finish that sentence

I don't think Gloria (the wife) wasn't having an affair with him, but just confided her fears to his brother about it. He killed their dog, so pretty valid. And also, I think when he says "I'll make you a doll that can sing forever" he means make her *into* a doll that can sing forever.
Macey says “daddy can you sing me a lullaby”
But she gets a reply of “mommy and daddy aren’t here” so… do we perhaps think that Martin and Arthur are identical twins? And that’s why Macey is confused and perhaps why the brother was able to sleep with the wife? If they look identical the uncle may have been able to trick her or something no? 🤔

Another ARG/Analog Horror/Horror game I recommend is Shipwrecked 64/Broadside Beach by a creator named Squeaks D’Corgeh. It’s some pretty unnerving stuff!
Looking it up after the vid; thank you for the recommendation. As a recommendation of my own: The Amadeus Project by Regular Clique; I'm normally a slow burn horror person who has a hard time vibing with stuff that shows its hand too quickly, but something about the way Amadeus Project does it just clicks with me and I don't know why. Hi Matt (and Ash, and Mirror Matt!), I just wanted to say that I'm going through a really rough time right now (I have major depressive disorder and PTSD) and your not-livestreams have really been a bright spot for me during all of this. I finally made a huge step and signed up for therapy today and seeing a new GTlive notification in my inbox was almost like a little clap and a half for progress. Thanks guys, keep doing what you do and making people smile.
Hey mate! Hope things get better for you!
Congrats friend! As a fellow PTSD person, these videos never fail to help when the flashbacks and anxiety get rough. You’re not alone and you are loved!💛💛💛
Hi friend! Wishing you luck for the future
Take my advice with a grain of salt. Therapy can be super hard, but if you find the right therapist it can do wonders. Don’t feel bad if you don’t mesh well with your first therapist. Therapy is very personal and everyone is different. 7 years of therapy and I am in such a better place in life.
You can do this friend! ❤️❤️
Matt: I wish there was a guide to this sorta thing. (How many candles to use during a ritual)
Hey Matt, ever hear of the First Key of Solomon? I think that may have what you're looking for lol
I would totally watch a game theory explaining the appropriate amount of lumens required for a demonic sacrifice.
People who think Jack-in-the-boxes are a jumpscare clearly don’t know the song. It’s always on the “pop”
Finally more reactions to these, we need more theories from MatPat!!!!

To answer your question yes the jaw is capable of hanging a person. But not for prolonged periods of time.
despite being scarred by killer toys, Matt and Ash make things so much funnier than it should be.
they really are a great duo
One thing I'd like to mention that is just very creepy and cool is the line "How about I make you a toy that can sing forever?" that Martin delivers to his daughter is quite literally him telling her he is going to make her become a toy that can sing forever: Sophia.
Literally the first line of the video and mat says "that's a weird thing to say". Excellent insights my guy.
The only thing that Matt burnt was his sanity, with all the FNAF theories.

(Again, this might’ve already been answered in the rest of the video, but I’m just taking notes here
So yeah, I guess it actually IS in the video (maybe the souls are haunting the vhs tapes which would make sense) Also, I think it’s safe to say now that Arthur is (I think) martins brother, because we see the ice cream man (Arthur) when the text says “not even your brother” either that or I’m just totally misinterpretating this
I would also like to add that Arthur and Martin had a toy company together (M&A harmony toys) sorry I’m just taking notes
Asking again for this series to continue ❤
Me: "It's Monday... They must be doing a meme Monday today" MatPat: "Let's watch UA-cam horror videos people incorrectly call a video game"

I listen to creepypastas to sleep now. Thanks to The Dark Somnium and his soothing voice
I’ve noticed that sometimes the toys have real eyeballs. Banzo has real eyes in the scene where he’s got both eyes, ice cream man has real eyes in the gore scene. I’m willing to bet putting the subject’s eyes in the toy has something to do with the process.
Manifesting the continuation of this watch through. I miss it
I love Ash's references so much! Every time they make a (semi) niche reference which I understand, I get so excited
