You have very good points Brett, Europe certainly has a deep history and it's very different from the newer cities like NYC, and one may not know this unless they go abroad and really explore. Barcelona is a great example of a unique city that's pretty different from many others. From what Gaudi provided, whether it's Casa Mila, Park Guell, or Sagrada Familia (which was great to see that you passed by, but the inside is truly next level) to the overall vibe of the city, and of course if you're into skateboarding it can be seen as a huge skatepark due to the design and architecture, plus it has MACBA, for those into art and skateboarding, good stuff Barcelona is, thanks for sharing! (sidenote, a little bit more of the skate scene in MACBA could've been cool to see, but hey, at least a tre flip is better than nothing 😅)
Amazing view from the hotel room and the rooftop pool is just insane!!👌👌👌😍 The Gothic Quarter is also one of my favorite parts of Barcelona!! Its narrow streets are like a Maze where you can get lost in and loving it because there's something to discover in every corner! Your friend is right about the quality of life here in Barcelona, it's just on another level! It has a unique vibe that is hard to describe! One has to come and experience it for themselves to fully understand it! Many Greetings from Barcelona 👍❤️☺️🇪🇸

The price depends of the season. During the autumn and winter you can spend around 250€ for the same room.
7:10 I live in Barcelona and the most efficient ways of transport are Metro, E-motorbikes or Bicing. This city is not that big and most things are in a walking distance.

W is a fairly good hotel. FAR FAR away from top in Barcelona. For that you should try places like Kimpto Vividora, El Palace, Mandarin Oriental, Hotel Arts or Cotton (and many more. But W same like in the states is a good hotel, nothing more. As for food, the best food is Spain is not in the fancy places but in rather low key spots.
Would you say that the W has the best views though? I was in Barcelona 10 days ago and stayed at the W, looked into the others but didn't really like them tbh
@@SavaNedev I’m going in sept and I booked the edition and the W. I really also wanted to stay at the hotel arts. So I’m thinking of changing it. I’ll be there 6 night so two nights at each location? Idk Tho
@@SavaNedev That for a fact. No doubt the view is great. And the hotel is good, don't get me wrong but far away from top hotel.
@@davidbarahona5550 you will have a great stay. I did not played down W. It is a great place, in a great location and as Sava mentioned a great view. Just not the top hotel of Barcelona. Just don't pay $1,000 per night because for that amount you can stay at one of the best hotels in Barcelona.

I live arround 10 miles from Barcelona. To move arround, metro or E-motorbikes that are on sharing by minutes it is the most efficient way or get a Bicing. Bur Barcelona is not that big, I usually park the car in Monjuich and walk whatever I need to go in 40-45min you are from one side to the other.

Uber in Milan was wonderful.
Their regular pickups are Black Car Service.
Pick up usually was within 10 minutes.
I recommend Uber over taxis.
Haha…when I saw that shot of you at the cafe from across the road, I was thinking we would be super stressed doing something like that here in South Africa 😂 so was laughing a bit when you mentioned it was a reckless shot there as well 🙈😅

- I'm not into clubs, parties, bars, nightlife, restaurants, etc.
- I am into tropical landscapes, nature, attractions, turquoise sea, omegas (zip line), water sports, diving, etc (open to many new/diff types of attractions, and maybe even a little extreme, such as diving with sharks and such), etc.
Love W Hotels and Westin Hotels - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I think to call any hotel in Barcelona as the best is highly subjective. The W is nice (although too pricey IMO), but it’s nowhere near downtown. The beach is actually quite blah.
You have to visit the Canary or the Balearic islands there are the best in Spain. 👍👍

December is off-season so prices would probably be almost twice as cheap haha
500 a day for 1 person? Where in the world you cannot "survive" on this budget? Just get a 200-250 hotel and do everything he did.
Watch out for the pick pocketers , a few friends wallets were stolen recently, but it is a fantastic city!

7:00 people, do not use these "taxis", this business is owned by maffiosos and they're the most disrespectful ppl in town, not to mention when they drive insanely fast next to pedestrians.
...consent, preferring to take city taxis or use public transport or walk; perfect range of discounts; I came back two days ago and bought a lot of delicious jamón; as he says a lot of interesting things and I would add Montjuïc and Montserrat ....

Love your videos but I don't think Barcelona is the cheapest city in Europe. Just googled some stats and they all point to Eastern European cities such as Krakow and Bratislava.
Here comes a good tip (from a Barcelonian hedonist) for tourists and foreigners in general visiting Barcelona. The city is cool, yes, it was much better though 10 years ago before its crazy communist mayor took power and allowed it to be littered with graffiti, pickpockets and squatters.
Anyhow, here comes my advice: The best of Barcelona is outside the city. The best beaches, cool villages, mountains and forests, are just 40' minutes by car, north of Barcelona. After the customary visit to the Born and Gothic quarters and maybe one or two nights partying in the city, my recommendation is that you get out of there and enjoy all that the city outskirts have to offer.
You can't open a window in W, it can't be a best hotel with stale air. Try Sofia
