The fact you used Dexton Crutchfield as B-Roll footage for Wilson's Airless Basketball has me cracking up. Have you seen Dexton's video of him Dunking from the 3pt line?

THE STAKES HAVE NEVER BEEN HIGHER!!!!!
Nah man, if it doesn't work, they'll go back and that's that. The test to not introduce it has been done over a year ago by now, your vid released two days ago.
Also, what stakes? The only actual stakes the NBA stands to loose is interest by media and fans, which translates to money earned. Are you saying NOT introducing the new ball will lead to a loss in interest, and that's why the stakes are high for the introduction of the new ball?
Or are you just yapping because it's one of the phrases that sounds nice in a video?
'Air inside to have a predictable bounce' - are you realizing that using air to fill the ball up is what gives the ball the different properties the NBA seeks to eliminate with the new ball? As in, actual uniformity in every stadium, not different pressures and thus different behavior based on temperatures or drunkness of the air guy at the venue. Air is a medium that gives, comparatively to other gases, very little uniformity and thus predictability to the bounce as it's so prone to pressure changes via expanding / contracting.
The idea to get rid of gases as a medium isn't a bad one if you want to uniform the bounce across different heights above sea level and seasons. A summer in Denver isn't like a winter in New Orleans. It becomes a bad idea in the minds of many when videos release that falsely talk about the superiority of air ( of all things! ) to a gas-less approach where a predictable bounce on perfectly polished wood tiles is concerned.
Doesn't mean the ball as a whole is better, good, usable, bad, anything. Doesn't need to as the tests to introduce it as shown here already failed. Just means that air isn't the factor to hang your nostalgia on when fearing a new ball.
