New RC!!! Kyosho Mad Van!

Welcome back to Thunder RC! I have a new RC on the bench today! This is the Kyosho Mad Van! This RC car is a 10th scale 4wd electric monster truck with some serious style! It runs on a 2s lipo and has to be one of the coolest looking little trucks I have ever seen! #rc #rccars #new
That thing is old as my grandma. Someone's on the super late train. Parts are as available as they use to be. But there out there. Same with the Kyosho Fazer. So far the best thing about the company and it's RC's is the scale body's and there buggy's and truggy's.

thats looks like a lot of fun, when I was a kid I had one call fat wheels, jeep with tires you had to blow up, fun but D batteries didnt last long
You're going to kill those diffs... Immediately.!
My front diff shattered its teeth on only the fourth 2S run.!
All it did was land on its nose after about a 2 foot jump.!
I was so disappointed because I immediately fell in love with the way it drove out the box.!!
It really drove like a dream.!!!!
I went to buy a replacement diff gear.... that's when I noticed Kyosho sold an HD version of the diff gears for like £40.!.!
NOPE.!! NAH-AH..! It's time to get the knife because I'm cutting my nose clean off to spite Kyosho & myself.!
I ran it as a rear wheel drive for a wee while until that diff shat itself about a fortnight later & then I started robbing parts from it to fit onto other RCs.
The body trim didn't last too long either.!
The best thing that came from my MadVan VE was the radio gear, the brushless system & the wheels & tyres.!
So disappointing.!!!

So you made me break our my Traxxas Russler AAR Cuda which has been sitting on the shelf since 2012. Wow! After blowing off the dust , The battery is still Good and the remote is still good. Powered it up and Everything is still Good. Took it for a trial run and Everything is going fine. What a Beast.

Never In a million years would I think that this truck would appear on this channel lol. Pretty sweet little rig! Body look great! The weird thing about this truck is the van body on a Basher. Looks more like a crawler body.
I recommend you take off the wheely bar before going to the skatepark. It will probably be the first thing to break

I love that little Kyosho Mad Van, I had a Red Van in high school that had 32in Mud terrain tires on it, and lived in the the Blackhills SD. We had so much fun with that dam Van and I looked very similar to this truck. I'm going to have to buy one and change the tires to make it look like mine I had.
Those are fun. but the rear diff is kinda weak we blew one out in one Bash session before we even turned our camera on to flim.

@juliachatwell yes, ma'am. I will. Jeep is fixed, so I'm happy. Jen and sara are well. They say, "Hi!" She took my jeep earlier and I left my phone in it. So, I had to wait until she got home to text and respond to everyone. Sorry to hear about your mouth pain. It sucks. Jen and I have had to have several teeth pulled over the years. There's only 2 gear in diff and no oil , you can add 2 gears . Like losi 8ight t rtr compared to kit

It's the exact recipe that made the "lunch box" so popular back in the 80's and 90's. It's a awesome platform and I agree, it looks great. I'm going to have to grab the brushless version of this mad van.

We have a bmx track in town that is only open during race day. Yesterday we showed up to watch and afterwards they let me rip my tekno et48 2.0 and my Xmaxx!!!! It was epic man. Anyway nice video

I have a mad van but am disappointed in the quality of the drive cups on the front wheels. Now mine is rear wheel drive since the dog bones also came out, but it still mad fun
Cool vid Mann just bought the kraken vesla electric plan on buying the gasser as well could you let me know what motor you put into it and gearing for the gas motor I would really appreciate it once again luv the vids keep bringing them
So at first I had the 30 Degree North 38CC engine installed on the stock gearing and it was awesome! Then I put the Taylor 46GT engine in it and it is completely insane!😱🏆🏆🏆⚡️

Probably the pinion gear ⚙️, there's only 2 gears in diff you can add the other 2 , and oil tjiers dry
It’s the ring gear front diff. Missing teeth. Chassis probably flexed hard
The radio came unbound and won’t re bind either 🤷🏼♂️. Strange. About to just slap one of my dumbo receivers in it

Hi, friend! Do you think that the madvan brushless at 2s is resistant? to small jumps, I heard that sometimes the differentials wear out very quickly, I would take it to 2s, never to 3s😅 I think it would not resist small jumps, Greetings friend :)😊
