Great info man. What type of wall plug to use for partition/drywall for heavy items ?
If its a heavy item like a chandelier or a ceiling fan, on a ceiling I'd propose reinforcing the back of the ceiling with wooden or supports which are bolted to structural supports. Drywall itself does not have a lot of strength
@@ThePunggolHandyMan hmm how about hanging heavy items eg; frames, mirrors on partition walls ? Normal white butterfly plug wont hold the weight rite
@shafegurrahman2589 on walls NOT ceiling, this plug is good enough foe mirrors.
@@ThePunggolHandyManwhich plug to use for hanging heavy items on partition walls not ceiling ?
Ceiling needs reinforcement. It's not a question of how strong the plug is, but how strong the plaster is.
Thanks for the demo and explanations! They've been really helpful:)
Have another DIY question too!
What's the best way to mount WiFi Mesh/router units onto the wall? I've been using the clear, gellish double sided tape but they've always ended up falling off😂
I'm a fan of drilling holes as they are very strong. Tape is only as strong as the paint on the wall
@@ThePunggolHandyMan Thanks for the reply! Does this apply for a structured wall as well, and would the drill bit used need to be a special kind of so?
If its a concrete wall, do use a concrete bit and a hammer drill
@@ThePunggolHandyMan Thanks for the reply! Would also like to request to cover this topic if it hasn't already been done!
1. How to change the 24W LED light of a ceiling fan + Light combi
2. How to fix a 3 speed ceiling fan that is stuck on High setting
Wow didn't know that existed. Only knew about the butterfly plugs.
Yea Bro! I love these actually ! I always have a handful in my tool belt
❤❤
If normal ceiling wall still can use that?
Only for very light items.
Normal wall you won't be able to drill through. Use normal green plug
