So many memories. Back in the 50’s the “Duchess of Atholl’ was my valued Hornby train set. Great to see this Duchess on the move in the old LMS colours. 👍🏼
Absolutely brilliant takes me back when i was a small girl i remember when you put your head out the window & you got the black smut on your face ❤️❤️❤️
She is my all-time favourite locomotive. She is beautiful and I would love to see her in real life. I would dearly love to travel behind her, she is magnificent.
Hi BCM, what a wonderful image! It takes me back to my early school days in 1961, me and my mates used to race up onto our local railway bridge (in Ramsgate) to get totally immersed and temporarily blinded in scalding, coal stinking steam! Very happy days 😊😊😊
Thanks Neil. I wasn't able to see it on the cams lives due to time differences. Thanks so much. Nice editing by the way.
Oh lovely 😍 those were the days, nothing can beat the steam train 🚂 l loved riding in them 😀
I could look at this video for ages it gives me goose bumps 💕❤️
Me too brilliant 👏 👌 😀
I saw that Railtour at Wokingham station with 2 BR Class 47's top & tailing the train instead of Duchess of Sutherland.
Wonderful locomotive and a wonderful video thanks Neil

Magnificent. The easiest she has experienced. A real holiday for her compared with the West Coast hills to Shap!.
Thanks so much Neil for this superb video. Many years ago I travelled behind this powerful locomotive on the Settle and Carlisle railway.

Great video. Thanks as usual, Neil.

Yes, I used to do the same on a footbridge near Norbury Station in South London. Yes indeed, happy days!
