Personal addition for spellbreaker: it's even bursty in short fights (fractals) provided you play Charr and take the charr elite skill Artillery Barrage. This is true for all power dps with a free elite skill tho. Really nice for spb since it's normally a sustained dmg spec.
Your reasoning for ranking builds makes sense. Nobody ever talks about it but speedrunners only ever share the successful runs. PUGs won't stand for the kinds of success rates that speedrunners have so we look for different strengths in builds, and covering yourself in defensive boons as a byproduct is definitely up there. Don't give too much thought to those who chase the meta. It's always changing and they'll drop their "favourite" build in an instant like the kid from Toy Story. All I ask is that they let the chefs cook in peace. To be honest, your content has been erring on the side of being too tryhard for me and I think it's because you're following the exact same pathway I went through. Homemade builds -> meta slave -> meta enforcer -> enlightenment and back to homemade builds. Truth is there's only so many ways to slap a set of berserker's gear together so making your own builds is not that hard once you have the right tools to evaluate it properly. I played a direct role in changing the cvirt meta build to what it is today but nobody's coming to me for virt advice lol! Sorry for making everyone swap to sinisters weapons btw.
At the end is not about builds and whats on S tier. Is what you like and feel good playing. Yes Virtuoso is on the top but for me I hate it since heal is part of the rotation.

All of the build guides are current for the meta. It is always subject to change but once they deviate enough I'll do another update. Spears were the biggest change overall, but still traditional non spear builds are still effective overall.
Don’t think the thumbnail is a fair representation of remagic’s points. Could have also just used the actual message(s) in it. The intro is way more chill then such a drama like thumbnail with “you’re bad” and backlash
I have no enemies and am scared of no one. Remagic is great and I dig their content and what they give to the community. But I stand by my points and disagree with him. Maybe it's because I'm bad? Or maybe it's because they're a top 1% player - the world may never know.
I agree, I think a fair tier list would be directed more towards the average player and not the 1% elite player. The bulk of any player base is probably average. Class X is the top dps in the game, but thats not the case for the average player. etc I would ask that you show video of the class/ spec/ build your talking about while your talking about it.
you cant make an "average player" tier list. obviously, because "average" concept cant be measured easily. you would have to gather many (hundreds? thousands? or may be 99% of playerbase?) "average" players to estimate some kind of "average" performance. while to measure the absolute maximum you only need 1 nerd who mastered his class
I feel like it needs to be reiterated more often to people that basically all these classes are viable in one way or another. Even "F tier" classes can clear most content if you're aware of and work around your shortcomings. I play plenty of builds that are ranked C tier by people and still have fun and success.
@athernandez666 I'm not wanting to stop, wanting to incorporate other games on the channel. In the MMO genre GW2 is still top tier even if their content release direction doesn't prioritize players like me. But there are rouge-likes, souls-like and other RPGs that are top tier that can be highlighted and enjoyed alongside GW2. So that is my focus

Not using heal won't kill your damage, heck it won't even scratch it. If that is your only criteria as to why you won't play the class.
