"Control what you can control and learn & improve yourself" is probably the single *best* attitude I've seen towards GW2 PvP, possibly ever. It's this kind of sentiment where I also don't think you're a doomer Sil, just not a sycophant. You know the value of hard work even if it's in something as relatively meaningless as video games. 😂 Also I have one personal tip: (100% Not for everyone) But if someone rage-afks' on your team, (and it's pretty clear your team is going to lose a Ranked Match,) What I've started doing is I'll just close my game and go do the dishes or pushups or something to save the 3 other people in my team their rating. Sure I can't queue again for a bit but that way I use my time doing something *actually productive* instead of effectively just wasting it to punish the one 'rage-case' on my team. Sure it saves their rating as well, but I was going to lose MMR either way. And to me, my time + that of the 3 other people who were actually trying to to play the game is usually more valuable to me than the one other dude's after all. 😄
It’s funny you mention the winrate. Starting pvp from completely noob took me to be consistently Top 50 for several seasons to overcome 50% win rate. I’m not sure if my experience is uncommon but i have never experienced in any other pvp game that above 50% win rate meant you were a top 50 player on the server (not claiming to be top 50 most skilled).
sPvP has the same vintage rage and throwing that LoL used to. Ive been playing a heal bunker to get pips for legendary armor and the amount of "unalive youre useless" I get in Gold when Ive been preventing home getting decapped is crazy. God forbid ANYONE goes and decaps far while I 1v1 or 2v1....
After thought - yes i tell people what role i am at the start. Yes no one replies at all. And yes they expect me to be doing something else just because Im on Spellbreaker even though I told them. Ive stopped caring and cannot wait for Push to come back.
I remember in my PvP beginning journey went Grimjacke was on an alt and he told me we were losing because I was on siege. Im sure my sub 100 game experience was going to impact the game with top 10 players in it. For sure. Lol.
Was actually recommended by GaryTheViking (another member) it's the Shiro Spear meta builds with malyx instead of Shiro. But it works pretty well, better than the warrior stuff I've been running.

Too true. It's always 1v9. Sometimes I forget that.
Always play to the end. You may still lose the match as a team, but if you quit, you lose as an individual in real life.
I needed this video

What Herald build are you running? I've had a hard time sticking to one build for revenant in pvp

@SilhouetteGaming1 Hell yeah I'll have to give it a shot. I saw that on meta battle but didn't like the idea of using Shiro so that makes sense
Hey Sil let's run some matches together! Let's PUSH their shit in!
I watched this 37 times and still suck
I made the video and I still suck bruh wth
