Despite my own overall reception on TGAMM (every "element" that is), I have to admit, I quite enjoyed that show. Yes, it is a shame that TGAMM did not receive its third season (which I do agree with, TGAMM did deserve a third season). In terms of the TGAMM finale, it gave me some of those Amphibia finale vibes all over again (maybe not in the exact way, but still in there) and I was actually satisfied enough in the end. I was surprised enough that TGAMM became the next "top-tier area" popular show since the ending of The Owl House. Oh yes, I'm glad you mentioned "Hailey's On It!" in the video (I'm happy that I'm not alone on that). That’s not what I said. I said that Proud Family getting renewed while Moon Girl has to fight for its’ life is some worst timeline BS. And I stand by that. And if you think that I’m just mindlessly hating on The Proud Family, I promise you I’m not. I literally praised an episode of the original series in my video on the history of LGBTQ+ rep in Disney TVA, and that’s entirely because Penny is a genuinely awesome character. She’s a kind, loyal and caring friend to Michael. And knowing that I’m a huge fan of The Ghost and Molly McGee, you can pretty safely assume that those kinds of loyal friendships are important to me. The rest of Penny’s friends SUCK. (Actually, Zoey’s okay, I guess.) I also strongly dislike Oscar simultaneously being an obnoxious dad who has an ulcer if his daughter even so much as looks at a boy, while being spineless in almost every other way. (Not to mention a deadbeat of a husband.) There’s a lot that’s really good about the reboot, and I’m not really qualified to talk about the race stuff many people say they made mistakes with… The thing that completely soured my opinion on the show was the episode where Trudy locked Penny out of the house. And it was treated like: “yep, this is an okay punishment for our teenage daughter.” NEVERMIND THE FACT THAT CHILDREN HAVE ACTUALLY DIED BECAUSE PARENTS HAVE DONE CRAP LIKE THIS. It’s awful, and it killed any chance of me ever liking the show. I think it’s literally only popular because it’s coasting on nostalgia.
