I've been silently watching your videos and I just wanted to say how great I think your family is. I'm not all well versed in Reggae music but I have been fortunate to see a few bands in concert. I got to see Sister Nancy a few years back at an event. It was lots of fun.

I love how much your husband loves roots music, the moment i saw the King Tubby's meets uptown rockers album and the fact that he said it was his favourite dub album (and i have to agree with him) it put a smile on my face lol. As a massive Dennis Brown fan (him been my fav reggae singer) I was surprise he didn't have "wolf and leopards", this album is a must have in his D Brown collection. May I also recommend that he purchase The Royal Rasses "Humanity" album, this is a must have album in your collection. The last one that I recommend is The Meditations "wake up" another superb album. Take a listen to these tunes on you tube you won't be disappointed.

People who love the island of Jamaica, the food and it's people especially, knows so much of its history. Some Jamaicans, it might seem, take its history for granted because, once we travel, the thought process most times gets transformed to behold our present stance. We either forget and or just absolutely have no idea of some of our roots, nothing😑. Love how your hubby got the music on point.🙂 "Jah, Jah give us life to live: Wailing Souls."

Loved this review of amazing sounds out of Jamaica! I was born in Jamaica and came to Canada at 3 yrs and 11 months Funny enough I was with someone who schooled me on my culture and I was ashamed. But I redeemed myself, proud to say! I would like to point out, at least for me, here in Canada, we are surrounded by many different cultures, which is such a beautiful thing when we all share and celebrate our differences in our culture. I love my Jamaican culture and African heritage. Thanks for sharing guys, so much fun!!!🎉

What a great collection, your husband say it's a start , he has a good amount 👀. Some of those vinyls are rare, as one can see he is looking after them. Maybe one day soon you could buss dem same vinyl on your vloggs you'd be surprised to know how much ppl tune into Djs that play for an audience of music lovers that like to hear those tunes. Radiodread is by a band called The Easy Star All Stars and it's literally a reggae version of "OK Computer" by Radiohead. They've also done reggae versions of Michael Jackson's "Thriller," The Beatles "Sgt Pepper," Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon." They just released a reggae version of David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust." Also, those albums by Bob Marley's sons would most likely be quite rare now. To my knowledge, they only ever got pressed once.

I’m very surprised you don’t have anything by the legend Jimmy Cliff. I saw him in concert twice in the 80s and he put on a great show both times.

Pablo, born Horace Swaby was a producer whose playing of the melodica was his signature. Tubby whose name is Osbourne Ruddock was also a producer/engineer, and a founding father of the dub genre.
