Congo's:Heart of the Congos, Mikey Rasstar: Fire and Rain, Junior Mervin: Police&Thief, Culture: International Herb, Dennis Brown:Handwriting on the Wall, Abyssinians: Satta Massagana, Bob Marley:Survival, Peter Tosh:Legalize It, Jacob Miller:Tenement Yard, Max Romeo: War Ina Babylon and the list goes on. Those are some of my favorite Reggae albums tho I'm a young youth I love Ska and Rock Steady too the 80s 90s early 2000s and current era is great but the 70s in my opinion is the best! Blessed. 1 More top Reggae Album i left out Bunny Wailer:Black Heart Man R.I.P.
Great reasoning Fyah classic under the radar albums you mentioned. Earth & Stone is Fyah. Of course Beauty For Ashes one of Midnite/Akae Beka finest works. Visions of Dennis Brown. I have to check out the Norris Man album. Haile I Hymn is incredible. I think you may need to do a part 2.
Well, everyone has his own favourites, so here's mine: Upsetters - Superape Singers & Players - War of Words Singers & Players - Revenge of the Underdog Bob Marley & Wailers - Survival Bob Marley & Wailers - Live Burning Spear - Marcus Garvey Dr.Alimantado - Best Dressed Chicken in Town Black Uhuru - Black Uhuru Augustus Pablo - King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown Prince Far I - Free from Sin
You had earth and stone and you also had hell and fire, both recorded tough tunes at channel one, and to this day I get them confused just as I confuse the jays and the tamlins.
Im not sure. Im not getting backtracks of the music in the background...if it could be featured more /added with more emphasis in the background of the music you talk abt. That would be ok. Bless. Nice 1!
