@@GetFitPhil depends on the player and who's playing 🤔.. You keep saying it's easy but in reality it depends on who's playing and how there learning curve is.. I am still learning the game and as I progress it gets easy but I still due to stuff.. I hardly pvp because I am still building up my stuff loads to do less time to play.. I try to do pvp but I don't feel like it at certain times. Nothing is easy depending on the person. If you playing for years and a veteran of course it's easy but for a new person who is new and knows nothing about the game itself it's not easy. Stop saying it's easy it's easy for you but lot's of people still struggle in the game sometimes.. you start off new to at some point..
It's really nice and liberating when you get the basic grasp of the game and managed to salvage your favorite toon into something worthwhile just by being able to make a plan. My Stam Warden is thriving now (bow/2hander).
For new players it may help to show the actual things (like buffs) you are talking about and not just random fighting in the video. But still thanks for the video.
Cause of your videos I understand heaps better about the solo aspect of eso to be able to survive and enjoy the game. Next step learning trials and PvP 😅
As a tank main I would recommend The Tower Mundus, it increases stamina and for a tank every bit of stamina helps for keeping the shield up and bebuffs/buffs up which is huge for your team.
I'm relatively new to ESO (less then lvl 200) and honestly, as my groups main tank, it's crazy for me to see how much I burn through stam. It's really bonkers. Dont even have a mundus yet so I'll be looking for this one.
@@BastardZombieKiller1 for early tanking the Lord (Increases max health and is most common on low/mid tier tanks) or the Lady (increase physical and spell resistance, a solid choice for most stuff used by a lot of mid tier and some high tier tanks) are good choices. If you got all the gear and skills setup I'd go for the Tower. It'll really help with keeping your shield up and breaking free which are both Stam heavy, using Glyphs of Reduce block cost are recommended on shields.
@@BastardZombieKiller1 1) Make sure you have some block cost reduction glyphs on your jewelry, but not so much as to hamper your mag recovery. You'll get better at gauging this as you get used to balancing your mag and stam sustain. There is no one-size-fits-all for this one. 2) Ensure you are not blocking when you don't need to. Ask yourself in any given pull "Could I survive this if I just dropped block and let HoTs, CC, and my innate resistances do the work?" Unless you eat a heavy from a boss, you'll often find the answer far before you die from this and you'll gain back stam in the process while you chain, CC, heal, and heavy attack in the meantime. If you find that HoTs and resistances don't cover you all too well while you're doing trash pulls, then 3) ensure your resistances reach as close to 33k as you can and that you have adequate healing on your bar (but not too much, you have other things to do as a tank rather than just heal yourself). Ensure you have major resolve somewhere on your bar. Every class has access to it. DK has spiked armor, templar has rune focus, NB has it innately as a shadow passive, and everyone can run Balance from Mage's. Some tanks run Reinforced trait on the chest as it has the highest base resistances of all your armor. I run the Lady Mundus.
Biggest mistake would be running one bar build without Oakensoul ring. Which is possible if you're new. Maybe you just didn't know High Isle is needed or you just aren't aware of the ring for whatever reason :) Good tips too, Mundus one is important fr

What is the #1 indicator that the skill you have in your rotation, despite providing the right buffs, are just not doing enough damage compared to another rotation option? Is it the base damage of an ability against single target? I feel like the damaging skills themselves, not even including the bonuses that come with them, end up being the difference and not knowing them forces you to build based on meta builds only.
Hello. I know this is a old video, but does your course go over what skills to front bar and which to back bar? Also when and if you need to double bar a skill for buffs etc? before I buy I wanna know. Because it's extremely hard for me to understand. Also, will the courses help with vampire? Because all I play is vampire on every single class.
I wasnt using food for the longest time cause all i had picked up just sucked so i figured it all sucked. But i had so many crown meals that i decided to use one and then i saw how much more health it gave me and i went back and read it...now im starting to go down the provisions tree because i have some really really good food to make thats better than anything buyable.

Playing the Game for the first time and doing **all** of the Quests and storylines, and being level 12, I decided to go with The Steed Mundus. The game isn't very hard right now, and +10% running speed helps a lot.
Be sure to hit the stables every time you log in. Max out speed first, then storage, then stamina, since you're doing all the PvE stuff. Also, for getting from here to there, something a lot of new players don't realize is that you can travel to another player (sort of... you end up at the nearest wayshrine) for free. This doesn't even have to be someone you're grouped with, so join a large casual guild, and when you need to travel, scroll through who's online and see if anyone is at or near the place you need to go.

I’m into the overworks stuff. I rarely use any of these things because the overworks stuff is way to easy and I want a challenge. ESO needs to to implement a difficulty setting in settings just like Star Trek online and there benefits to having a higher difficulty setting on the STO. More loot for one thing.
I have been playing for just over two months. My first toon was a Dragon Knight Sword and board tank. I have 95% of the world Skyshards collected just for the extra skill points. I have all the passives, maxed crafting, maxed scrying. With just crafted gear I have max mitigation of 50% and three damage shields that make him almost impossible to kill in PVE normal mode stuff.
@@Bellthorian armor isnt mitigation, they're different stats, armor is just damage reduction to all damage types but mitigation is a flat post damage mitigation buff, theyre entirely different stats
I never do Veteran, so I never use foods and drinks at all. As far as I have seen, that really only gives a sizeable impact in Veteran. Normal and overland stuff is easy enough to deal with as-is.
One other thing is to try out ALL the classes because I really did not like the game until I found a class/build I absolutely love to play, so try out all the classes.
I remember using your magicka sorc build like 2 years ago, the one with hard attack.. I haven't played since then and would like to get back in. Would it be better to create new char?
I personally think that defaulting to Thief stone closes out possibly better options. Not all builds are going to greatly benefit from crit chance. Exploring options to see what works best with your build I feel is better than slapping on the Thief stone.
Playing magdk, noticed one thing. Major brutality effects wd and sd, but when minor brutality procs, it affects only wd. So i changed all sd glyphs to wd and overall damage from skills increased cause higher wd from minor brutality. Is it reasonable to put all in wd, instead of sd,on mag classes?
Molten weapons skill give both major brutality and major sorcery which is why you see both. But DKs also get minor brutality from a passive, so yes you actually can get higher damage numbers going all weapon damage on a Mag DK. Since other classes do not get minor brutality I would only do this on a DK tho
1:02 This made me laugh, running without any mundus stone at all, but it also happened to me. When they updated the armory station to include mundus stones any build saved before then had no mundus stone, even though the character would have had one when the build was saved. So you have to look out for this when loading an old build.

I always run the lover mundus on my stam dps toons, it usually puts me right around 7500 penetration which is about the same as a character wearing 7 pieces of light armor. It's lower crit chance, but medium armor gives crit damage so it evens out in most cases. Mage mundus on my healer for higher max mag, which improves healing, and atronach for my tanks.
Until ZOS puts new servers up for Cyro pvp it really doesn't matter what build you re using except dark convergence / plaguebreak, it seems these two sets don't care about lag.
I played it for 800+ houers, and just started again.. and everything has changed? I can´t even find where I customize my new char.? What happened? I am worried it´s my pc or something... nothing is the same, can´t use my points (can´t remember the name, but there is the blue, red and green area) because only my keyboard can be used not the mouse?? AAARRRGGHHHH
What do you use if someone uses double ⚔️ Swords? I'm assuming I think it was Serpent that helps with Stamina Recovery.... (Wish I could talk to you in game about a few things, idk if you ever do this)
There is NO such thing as a build mistake. People: run your own builds and quit following UA-camrs who think their “god tier” build is the only way to play. You ever notice every goddamn UA-camr and stream thinks their build is “the best”…
this game maybe the simplest MMORPG compair to others, you couldn't do wrong with so easy PVE content. I thought even you poor build still can solo most content in this game, it's too easy
one of the biggest problems i've found with these build guides is that they are all group focused, ie, dungeons, trials and thats the gear they recommend. I'm a solo pve player and have never had any interest in group content, even though I've done it. Very few people do build guides for this.
Sorry, don't understand about passives skills. Passive skills working only if you're using skills of his root. If you learn passives from heavy armor and wearing middle armor, it doesn't work. There are some passives skills what working without any depending on, but it's 2 or 3.
Healers are dead if week 4 pts patch goes through (likely), DPS can use healing staves viably now and get more damage than with fire/ice/lightning staves. ZOS has lost the plot.
Minor Force - Are you saying that this is the reason for every dps guide to slap Trap Beast in our face? This explains why there are no ranged dps builds. Every dps build foces you to be at melee range or the dps is not relevant. Which affects sustain, since it depends from the dps. WHY such thing is forced in the game...? Yeh, there will be someone immediately slapping Elder SORC Online narrative "But my Sorc/Arcanist Build..." F.OFF... There suppose to be choice... Goal thing - "may be they don't understand their options"... Well described the lack of choice. So yes, I will gladly quit this pain.

I stopped playing ESO to earn 100% likeability for MMOs again. The game is a monumental letdown and boy did I put the hours in to give it a chance. Monetized for babies and fashionistas.
When we're talking about builds, we're usually talking about builds for solo/group veteran content, not for normal content (which is indeed very easy).
From a holistic point of view, the answer to your question is efficiency my friend. Studies show that the average amount of time spent playing video games is somewhere between 7 to 9 hours range...per week. So the more optimised your build, the faster you can get through the content. The faster you can get through content the more rewards, xp or even time you get to enjoy a different game.
@@Mzuka-Moto yeah the incentive to level up comes in the form of trials and vet content in general as the overland isn’t really a main focus of pve especially endgame
Having end-game trials and pvp is good. I agree that leveling scaling reduces the need for people to group in over land content. Level scaling has given rise to and encourages power leveling.

I use Corrupting Bloody Mara for my mag DK, non vampire. The health regen bonus is nice. He just felt squishy at times and this helped me out.

you can go high than 50% mitigation block caps out at like 89% from what i remember
@@Acooky. mitigation in PVE is capped at 50%. Shield Block stacks on top of that.

#1 mistake....thinking your build will last more than 3 months when the dev team smashes combat with a sledgehammer

You can just re-apec your skills and attributes of your existing character.

I was experimenting a Templer hybrid stam/mag the dps output is insane so far at cp175, almost decimated cp1500 at the imperial city toe to toe lookin

This explains why there are no ranged dps builds. Every dps build foces you to be at melee range or the dps is not relevant. Which affects sustain, since it depends from the dps.

I stopped playing ESO to earn 100% likeability for MMOs again. The game is a monumental letdown and boy did I put the hours in to give it a chance. Monetized for babies and fashionistas.

When we're talking about builds, we're usually talking about builds for solo/group veteran content, not for normal content (which is indeed very easy).
From a holistic point of view, the answer to your question is efficiency my friend. Studies show that the average amount of time spent playing video games is somewhere between 7 to 9 hours range...per week.
So the more optimised your build, the faster you can get through the content. The faster you can get through content the more rewards, xp or even time you get to enjoy a different game.
%this is why i stopped playing. cant build how u want, play how u want has to be the meta. lots of options, 95% of them substandard.

Having end-game trials and pvp is good. I agree that leveling scaling reduces the need for people to group in over land content. Level scaling has given rise to and encourages power leveling.
