of course as a competitor going against another competitor there is mutual respect these media ppl create narratives for ppl to talk about it just messes with ppl's heads. i don't trust them the only time i trust the media is when they announce a player signing with a team everything else is garbage.
John Pestano lol they're making a big deal out of it because a Cleveland Browns player said that KD basically piggybacked to get those titles so somehow Whitlock think it's Lebron saying it...
I don't like Whitlock much, but sometimes I agree with him. I like Stephen A. Smith, A LOT of the time I disagree with him. None of these talking heads know what any of the athletes are thinking. They just talk.
The biggest difference that people don't talk about is when Lebron went to Miami their starting pg was Carlos arroyo and their starting center is Joel Anthony. Miami also had a very weak bench. Golden state on the other hand is coming off the winning most season in NBA history. They have an additional all star, and their 5th starter is a finals MVP. They also have a super deep bench.
Whitlock: "Durant wants everyone to be happy." Chris: "I think LeBron is like that." Jim: "Russell ain't..." *Say what you want about Russ but he is a true competitor. He's something that has gone out of style in today's league*
"say what you want, but im going to say something stupid and when people correct me, i'm going to reply with 'say what you want' because it's a get out of being an idiot free card apparently". No, he is not a true competitor. He has a team structured around getting him his box score stats to sell tickets, has never even attempted to fit anyone into his team to actually win games, and cares only about russ. Thats the opposite of what a competitor is.
To compare LBJ and KD is like apples to oranges. If LBJ went to Boston after his lost to them then it be the same. LBJ *formed* a super team to beat a super team ( Boston). KD lost then *joined* that super team. Had KD went to Boston, or the clippers no one would have hate for KD.
At the end of the day lebron went to Miami to stack the deck against the league only winning two titles. I see nothing wrong with what KD did. Wade was a top 5 player bosh top 10/15 it really doesn’t matter about differences even if u bring the Miami previous record year because bosh hasn’t even joined the team yet.
Olade banjoko during that time Boston was the super team. They had 3 HOF and rando looked like he was on his way there was no way wade or Bron could take them down solo so they teamed up to beat the enemy. KD joined the warriors he didn’t want to compete with them no one would’ve had hate for KD had he gone to any other team but the fact he joined the team he lost to that already had 3 all stars is what makes everyone question him
The two moves are so different I don't know how people can compare the two. LeBron didnt join the Celtics which was the hottest team in the East at that time. He formed a team to beat them. LeBron didn't join a team coming off two consecutive finals appearances. LeBron didn't a join a team that had three all stars . He didn't join a team coming off of a 73-9 record season. He didn't join a team that currently has the back to back MvP. Should I go on ?
Regardless of the moves, lechoke and kd went out chasing rings. Lebron formed the first player-centred super team with 2 all stars and then added one of the best shooters in Ray Allen. KD just out did LeHand and joined a well drafted team.
So instead of joining a winning team he created one wit his boys ..your point is just that he made a super team but in a roundabout way? I guess it be cooler if KD called up steph klay An dray to join OKC that would be impressive to you 👀😂😂
People forgetting that KD spend 9 years in OKC. He tried to make it work there but with management and a couple of players it didn’t. Also it’s not like GSW was the only team he was looking at there were others but GSW showed him what they do best and have fun with it.
Malisha Guerrier injuries for OKC made their runs end short. They made the finals but were very young and didn’t stand a chance against the current GOAT. He choked in 2016 up 3-1 and then joined the team he lost to. No competitive spirit to even eat revenge on the team that beat him. He could have joined any team in the NBA that was recruiting him except the Warriors and it would have been fine...
Storminmormn6 everyone’s faulting him because he wanted to chose the best situation for him. Everyone is saying they wouldn’t do that but when then opportunity presents it’s self I’m sure people would go to GS
My thing is, if Lebron got criticized for it, we can’t turn around and just give Durant a pass. Lebron was well liked before then, he’s been hated ever since. KD got a few haters, but it’s not that bad.
Revisionist history. Lebron went back to Cleveland with another big three: Kevin Love, Kyrie and himself. At the time, everyone understood it was a new stacked trio for Lebron to win with. Problem is, the Warriors came out of nowhere.
@@CapnPink28how tf was Kevin Love not a part of the big 3?? He filled in the Chris Bosh role of the team. The season before he went to Cleveland he and all star averaging 26 and 12. You really compared a 5 time all star to role players 🤦🏾♂️
@@vishtakes You do know Kevin Love is still playing….in his 17th year, and you’re trying to make the argument that a 5-17 All-star isn’t a role player…..🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
WTH is Whitlock talking about, like he is some old school goon from the projects when we know he is only rough opening the donut box?? Suburban kids that were getting beat went to pick up the best players? They already had won a championship, had 73 wins and didn't went to back2back because of a last minute shot in Game 7 after getting their rim protector and best defender injured and Draymond retroactively suspended in Game 5 because of Lebron snitching when they were up 3-1. Their core was all drafted with low picks and they got a free agent in Durant that every organization in the NBA was trying to get and they had to give up most of their bench. Lebron is the mercenary that assembles teams with the best players from the other teams in his weak conference to maximize his chances to win ships and still loses almost every time and bails when things get though, never won without 2 All-Stars by his side.
Steven Scummy Kevin Love is an absolute ghost in every Finals he has ever played in, as a matter of fact the only game they won when they were getting mauled by 20+ points down 3-1 in 2016 (both teams healthy), was the game he didn't play, so that makes your point invalid. You'rw an unathletic punk, ever heard of momentum? Draymond was playing great and if he is there to finish the series up 3-1, it's over in 5. Both teams healthy, in the regular season and Finals the Warriors proved they were better, pre and post Durant. GS were being compared to the Bulls back then, NOBODY thinks of the Cavs as an all time team, nobody.
I been saying the same thing lol smmfh... nobody was checking for any of GS players 4-5 years ago. They made themselves a cohesive team over time. Unfair indictment against Durant for real.
KD is part of the biggest Choke in history having a 3-1 lead over Golden State and lost to them and then you join GSW the next year???...no respect for KD ever!!!
Tremaine Jordan they choked to a Lebron team but name a Golden State warrior that joined Lebron the very next year??..hmm...KD isn’t a leader and he’s a certified follower...it’s ok and I get it now..Leaders lead and followers follow..point blank and Jimmy Jackson is right about not everyone is built like that and KD is one of those people.
Oh please he's built just to play basketball. That's all he wanted to do. And everybody's getting upset because he went with a team that let him do what he wants to.. I bet you would have been happy that he stood over there in Oklahoma City Thunder taking a backseat to Russell Westbrook. Now that would have been a joke.
Dmaccabees What about Lebron choking against Mavs? Or Cavs beating 73-9 warriors team I believe biggest choke, because the odds were so much in their favor!
It's so disrespectful to Kyrie to say "He did it by himself" (See 6:33) when Kyrie arguably could have won MVP that series and hit the game-winner in game 7. Lebron didn't do it "by himself" at all. The media has just crowded out Kyrie because they worship Lebron above everything else. Such delusional people.
The difference is lebron didnt know it would work in miami. 3 stars all having to sacrifice and create something new. Durant already knew it was gonna work because he saw it with his own eyes. There was no risk for kd
Why is Whitlock salty?? LeBron ran to Miami with DWade and CB4 to form a superteam!! LeBron has never built any team from "scratch" Whitlock!!! Stop it!!!
That was not an established team unlike GS that 16 warriors before KD joined them is better than the 2011 heat eam with Lebron. What KD did was join a team that was head and shoulders above everyone else while LeBron joined a team with alot of uncertaintu
Lebron going to the Spurs doesnt look the same as KD to the warriors. Lets ignore the record. Warriors were already the best team in the league despite losing the finals. Spurs are far from the best and have a bunch of internal issues. Lebron going there and beating the warriors warriors would only help Lebron's legacy
DJ Skandalous warriors had set a record for 73 wins and lost that year. One could argue that without Durant in 2017, that healthy cavaliers team could have beaten gsw.we make excuses for one man and he travels to different teams in order to win whereas Durant has only done it 1 time is being crucified. Lebron has a chance to join the rockets who won 65 games and yet no one sees a problem with him being nomadic
Kevin Garnett/Ray Allen, LeBron James and Kevin Durant all took their legacies in hand, joined up with other superstars and became champions. The optics and specifics of where they went might be different but ultimately they all did the same thing. If they weren't all time greats we wouldn't be discusdsing it at all.
@@bobbylane7103 they didn't really need KD to beat LeBron. They had already beaten LeBron the year before so they were actually 1 - 1 vs LeBron. I would have loved to have seen a fair rubber match without Durant because that 2016 finals was one of the greatest I ever witnessed. 2017 and 2018 was almost unwatchable because you already knew the outcome
@@cruztheworld8326 are you slow? They beat lebron with love and kyrie both injured genius and they felt they needed KD because they gave up a 3-1 lead do you know anything about sports lol wtf
@@bobbylane7103 are you an idiot or just an over-sensitive troll? Yes Golden State beat Cleveland in 2015 when Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were both out injured and in 2016 Cleveland came back from a 3 - 1 deficit to beat Golden State with Draymond Green suspended for game 5 and their rim protector Andrew Bogut out injured in game 6 and 7. Now everyone knows that LeBron plays his best basketball when the opposing team doesn't have a quality rim protector. Consequently they were 1 - 1 versus each other in the finals before acquiring Durant . Therefore my only point was I would have loved to have seen a fair rubber match with both teams healthy and no suspensions in 2017 with no Kevin Durant involved. Everything in my comment was completely accurate and nothing derogatory toward you so not sure why you saw the need for hostility. And lastly I'm fairly certain that I know more about sports than you do.
Good point by Broussard. Bosh and Wade's careers and roles kept going downward cause they had to defer to Lebron. Bosh never ever was the same. KD Steph and Clay can give you 40 on any given night.
Bruce Rivers yeah sure does. That's why he stays in the weak east. Formed a super team then when he saw the ship sinking ran back to the cavs cause they had a great draft pick and will probably make another super team in the EAST. All while padding his stats along the way. The media will give him any record they can. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see LeBron is the first player to score this many points on Tuesday after a two week drought on an odd numbered year. He's a beast of a player and a freak of nature but he isn't close to being the goat.
Without lebron would Miami have reached the finals? Without lebron’s performance would Miami have won 2-4 championships. Remember Kevin Durant joined a team that won 73 games in the regular season. Kevin Durant joined a team that would’ve made the finals without him. In 2009-2010 regular season Miami was 5 in the east, addition barely clinching 50 wins. Lebron created a super team projected to win multiple championships, while Kevin Durant joined an already great all time nba team an exceptional mark in nba history . Two major differences.
Lol the west was supposed to be the interesting conference... Lebron's teams aren't that good tbh and haven't been since 2013. It's just east teams have been abysmal since 2015 Even the 2016 cavs weren't that great haha. The west has won 4 of the last 5 chips Lebron has been beating up on weak teams but the Cavs obviously are no match for a 73 win team + KD... LBJ should go to the spurs to just be really serious for 2-3 years and win a ring. Then he can go retire in los angeles
How was it different? Wade was a Top 2 SG, Bosh was a Top 3 PF.. Saw how good Kyrie (Top 3 PG) was came back to Cleveland, made Cleveland trade for K.Love again Top 3 PF..
Nathan Mulchandani it wasn't. The goal was for a group of great players to come together to get a ring. We can bring up "Heat won 40+ games while warriors won 73" or "KD went to the team that beat him", point is, they both went to a team that was going to win rings. Both succeeded. Ppl trying to go to details instead of the main idea, and the main idea is both went to a better situation to get a ring easier.
Nobody cares what Whitlock has to say. Anyone who knows the story about how the Warriors got KD, know they started going after KD almost immediately after they won their first ring. All the 4 major guys on the team knew that Harrison Barnes wanted to be a superstar and was going to leave at the end of the season, and the players on the squad knew that if they wanted to continue to have a death lineup they'd need the perfect replacement, so the players all started trying to convince KD to come over to the Warriors. The idea that the Warriors went after KD because they lost to LeBron is largely a myth. They probably went harder after him after the loss, but they went after him even when they won, because they knew he would take their system to the next level. This is why all these people who hate KD are really projecting what they know to be true about LeBron, that he cares more about stacking talent around him and padding stats than playing great winning basketball like you see with the Warrior, Celtics, Spurs etc
It's not just that KD went to GS, it's playing style, commitment to defense, being coachable. LeBron's game doesn't fit GSW. GSW have a lot of shooters who can pass and will pass. That's what Kobe was saying. Empower your team. Everyone on GS it's empowered to take the ball up court, pass and/or shoot. Trust.
Kevin Durant is a snake!!! I always said that I never respected his rings. They're way too easy and he hasn't been tried and proven and he plays with 0 pressure.
You can't say that though. Warriors without Durant now is not a superteam. That superteam that went 73-9 is long gone. Lots of role players lost in acquiring Durant. Plus that "superteam" choked a 3-1 lead against lebron. Obviously that wasn't a superteam
terry lewis lol you right. That was bs but I'm just trying to trump the superteam bs. Truth is this team is not a superteam without Durant. That's not a 73-9 team anymore. Idk why ppl keep saying gs was already good. They wouldn't even be in the finals this year without him
@Matt L .... Yep, the 73-9 lost 8 of their players just to get Durant. It's not the same team. Not sure why people keep overlooking that part. Durant joining the GSW also meant dismantling the 73-9 team. Do what you guys will with the following information. The 73-9 lost 8 players when Kevin Durant joined. They had a different roster. Barbosa, Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli, Mareese Speights all played significant and important minutes. Even Brandon Rush and Varejao played during moments. All of them left when Durant joined. First season with Durant = 67-15; Second season with Durant 58-24. Record (73-9) PLAYERS RETAINED Curry Thompson Green Andre Livingston Looney Clark Macadoo PLAYERS THAT EVENTUALLY LEFT WHEN DURANT JOINED Leandro Barbosa Harrison Barnes Andrew Bogut Festus Ezeli Marese Speights Brandon Rush Jason Thompson Anderson Varejao Record (67-15) PLAYERS RETAINED Curry Thompson Green Andre Livingston Looney Clark Macadoo NEW PLAYERS ACQUIRED WHEN DURANT JOINED Kevin Durant David West Matt Barnes Damian Jones Patrick McCaw McGee Zaza Anderson Varejao (14 games) Briante Weber
Feels like this topic is a way for media to say they don’t respect KD. I don’t really have much respect for him. My opinion and who cares about that really?
Haha! **Band wagon alert** Mark Jackson wasn't even the coach when Curry was drafted. Curry played 2 years under Don Nelson before Jackson was the coach. Klay Thompson was a Jerry West pick and Jackson was still starting David Lee over Draymond Green. Coach Jackson does get credit for installing a defense first mindset with the Warriors young players and giving Curry confidence with the greenest light possible (Don Nelson was notorious for keeping young players on a leash, even benching Curry in favor of Speedy Claxton). The Warriors are a bunch of hard working, over-achieving draft picks highlighted by Curry (7th), Klay (11th), & Draymond (35th).
Rico Wright that's the 1st time I ever heard that, u couldn't trade curry cause he was hurt most of the time 1st 3 to 4 years in the league. I know they started to trade klay for Love at one time
I can't beleive it but Broussard straight trippin. That Miami team was not THAT Stacked. They only won 60 games ONCE. The warriors were stacked BEFORE KD got there. Were the heat were the best team in the league? Yes. thats why they won 2 chips. did they ever go 16-1 in the playoffs? No. Did they ever sweep a finals? No. The warriors were the front runners to win the chip right after they lost in 2016... When the Heat got Bosh before the decision, The Celtics, Lakers, and Magic were all still better...
Y'all also forget that the warriors "superteam, "lost a lot of good role players to pick up Durant. Without Durant. This team is no longer a superteam smh
Matt L yeah man The Heat didn't lose any role players either when they picked up those 2... They kept their 2 best players off the bench thats doing pretty well when you bring in the 2nd best player in the league. They lost Barbosa, Bogu and Speights. Boo hoo
Matt L also they won 15 straight W/O durant last year... W/o Durant and everyone healthy they're still the best team in the league lol but it's close...
Timo Cruz did GSW go 16-1 before KD?No. Did they sweep the finals before KD?No. Didn’t they lose in the finals before KD? Yes. Did KD go there and become their best player? Yes. Did he step up n hits shots when the games on the line? Yes. Did LBJ do that with the Heat? No
What LeBron and KD did were completely different. The Heat were no where near title contention when LeBron and Bosh showed up. The Warriors were already a well oiled title holding and contending machine. Plus the Heat hadnt just embarassed LeBron in the eastern conference championship game before he showed up. LeBron didn't join a back to back MVP and first time ever unanimous MVP in Miami. Durant left a team in OKC that was a title contender while LeBron left a poorly run Cleveland franchise.
mogtrader8 Because they couldn't move around like that back than. Did u not know kobe was finna join mj in chicago if shaq wasn't traded? So lets not act like they was so perfect in the 90's.
Everyday we Lit Jordan was retired way b4 den.... but was trying to get traded to the bulls but it had nothing to do with Shaq... it was because the current lakers squad wasn’t able to compete
mogtrader8 Stop bringing up the past and “moves” The guys back in the day didn’t move because there was no such thing as free agency. If free agency and money were the same back then compared to today I guarantee you the past players would have moved around.
CARLOS GUTIERREZ IM ONE OF THE FIRST AND ITS GOING TO HAPPEN 💯💯✔✔✔💯 SORRY TO TELL EVERYONE BUT KD WILL NOT I REPEAT WILL NOT STAY IN GSW FOR THE REST OF HIS CAREER HE WILL LEAVE 💯
Whitlock is a fake Charles Barkley that has never played basketball...can you guys find a way to gain ratings without talking about Lebron? Pathetic...
They had a decent bench and at the time they had the best roster in the LEAGUE. People love trying to change the narrative now to make it sound like LeBron’s Heat team wasn’t that good. FOH he had the best roster in the NBA at the time.
the miami team was stacked? i think they were the underdogs 3 out of 4 years during that era. Only time they were supposed 2 win was against the mavs and Bron choked so that’s that. he’s still the 🐐 doe. LeBron won the other 2 out of 3 being the lesser of teams. If u actually look at the talent. OKC had much more talent. LeBron just outplayed them with help obviously but yea he did it. SAS was better also tbh.
you honestly believe that prime lebron, dwayne wade, Chris bosh were underdogs to an old Tim Duncan, manu ginobli, tony Parker, and a young kawhi leanord. and you think they were the underdog against the thunder? who weren't even in their primes yet. who they beat 4 games to 1. the Miami heat were favorites every year. the fact that they only won 2 is criminal. every major commentator was saying that the heat were favorites. everyone I knew thought they would win every year. I can't believe history is being rewritten. when it hasn't even been a decade yet.
yo. I just can't believe this. you think lebron outplayed the thunder. dwayne wade averaged like 23 points a game in that series. did you watch the series. they outclassed the thunder. as a team. I can't believe people are actually trying to make it seem like lebron carried wade and bosh. its so disengenious.
KIDKorRupt24 Wade wasn't in his prime, and they were only favored twice, that Heat team wasn't stacked like you think. They had a prime Lebron that was the difference. Wade was hurt the last 3 out of 4 yrs they were together
+Michael Kelly how did he average 23 points a game in the finals against the thunder if he was hurt. how did he average 20 points a game against the spurs the first time if he was hurt. his worst series was the last finals against the spurs. C'mon bruh. lebron is the difference? you sound like you work for the guy. and if Vegas said lebron wasnt favored. then they are crazy. the heat had 3 of the top 15 players in the league on one team for 3 out of those 4 years.
GS will be broke up in another season. Professionals want to be paid what they think they deserve and once you accomplish your career goals, i.e. Championships, you want your monetary value. Klay and Draymond will be gone because they deserve their monies. KD and Steph will have to leave. I tell ppl to enjoy it while it last because it will be gone soon. Just business in a Capitalistic Nation.
First of all lebron set that team up when he cam back to Cleveland, traded Wiggins , got Kevin love and all 3 point shooters that team was more assembled then golden state was , golden state starters was all drafted except KD
1. LeBron James went to Miami to join the BEST player in the Eastern conference D Wade who was ALREADY a champion. 2. He brought with him the 3rd best player in the Eastern conference Chris Bosh. 3. Celtics were old & done. 4. Warriors DRAFTED their CORE players. 5. KD didn't join a "73 win team" he joined a team that LOST THE championship. 6. KD is the smartest guy in the NBA for that move. 7. 3 > 2 Steph Curry changed the game
Lebron, (the best player in the world) can join the best players in the league and pull pieces from every team every year without giving up anything in return, but somehow KD took the easy way out?... Eventually the world is gonna realize two great players can exist on one team and both can be, great leaders and possess this "1a" personality narrative the media pushes to cause a tear in relationships. GSW figured out how to include everybody and have two kings.
2 Championships and 2 Finals MVPs. As Durant said, he got a lot of "backlash" for his move, but to quote the attorney from "Billions"......."WORTH IT!"
how do these guys know Bron doesn't have respect for KD where is this coming from. did Bron say this i don't think so so this narrative is BS.

Storminmormn6 everyone’s faulting him because he wanted to chose the best situation for him. Everyone is saying they wouldn’t do that but when then opportunity presents it’s self I’m sure people would go to GS
Storminmormn6 Russ and Durant both panicked and lost that series
Storminmormn6 OKC was also favored in the 2012 Finals
My thing is, if Lebron got criticized for it, we can’t turn around and just give Durant a pass. Lebron was well liked before then, he’s been hated ever since. KD got a few haters, but it’s not that bad.
Why do we vilify people for having teammates now?
Revisionist history. Lebron went back to Cleveland with another big three: Kevin Love, Kyrie and himself. At the time, everyone understood it was a new stacked trio for Lebron to win with. Problem is, the Warriors came out of nowhere.
😂😂😂😂😂
If Kevin Love is a “big 3” talent….then so is Robert Horry and Steve Kerr. 😂😂😂😂
And k love stayed hurt
@@CapnPink28how tf was Kevin Love not a part of the big 3?? He filled in the Chris Bosh role of the team. The season before he went to Cleveland he and all star averaging 26 and 12. You really compared a 5 time all star to role players 🤦🏾♂️
@@vishtakes You do know Kevin Love is still playing….in his 17th year, and you’re trying to make the argument that a 5-17 All-star isn’t a role player…..🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Whitlock might be the single worst guy in sports media.
GS were being compared to the Bulls back then, NOBODY thinks of the Cavs as an all time team, nobody.
x^W
I been saying the same thing lol smmfh... nobody was checking for any of GS players 4-5 years ago. They made themselves a cohesive team over time. Unfair indictment against Durant for real.
Mario Shuttlesworth Whitlock is from the hood of Indianapolis
Who suburban on Golden other than Klay and Steph? KD from the hood Draymond from the hood. As if it really matters but it’s a terrible narrative.
K.D haters.
😕 honestly where did this topic come from
Whitlock wrote an article boxden.com/showthread.php?t=2624124
KD is part of the biggest Choke in history having a 3-1 lead over Golden State and lost to them and then you join GSW the next year???...no respect for KD ever!!!
Dmaccabees He also went to a team that choked that same year in the finals as well.
Dmaccabees THANK YOU!!! THATS WHAT NOBODY ADMITS!!!!
next season LeBron wins the championship,
now it´s harder to argue but I still believe he is the GOAT
It's so disrespectful to Kyrie to say "He did it by himself" (See 6:33) when Kyrie arguably could have won MVP that series and hit the game-winner in game 7. Lebron didn't do it "by himself" at all. The media has just crowded out Kyrie because they worship Lebron above everything else. Such delusional people.
Jason Whitlock needs to get off tv because he don't have any clue what he talking bout
The difference is lebron didnt know it would work in miami. 3 stars all having to sacrifice and create something new. Durant already knew it was gonna work because he saw it with his own eyes. There was no risk for kd
lbj paved the way
Whitlock is a joke
Monty a fuckn joke bro
Monty that's an insult to joke
Why is Whitlock salty?? LeBron ran to Miami with DWade and CB4 to form a superteam!! LeBron has never built any team from "scratch" Whitlock!!! Stop it!!!
It was a big three. Nobody called it a superteam in 2012
Nate That Dude they were a superteam tho
Lmao you just said it yourself. "To form a superteam." Keyword form not join
Never was super... Super old...... Y'all fake lol
That was not an established team unlike GS that 16 warriors before KD joined them is better than the 2011 heat eam with Lebron. What KD did was join a team that was head and shoulders above everyone else while LeBron joined a team with alot of uncertaintu
I can't stand Whitlock!
DJ Skandalous warriors weren't the best team in 2016 because they lost the NBA finals. 2nd best team for sure.
Lebron has a chance to join the rockets who won 65 games and yet no one sees a problem with him being nomadic
myles garret?! is this dude serious why would anyone take this dude seriously or care what a rookie says that hasnt won anything
Jesse Allen he’s not wrong lol
havent even won an nfl game
Idc what nobody say the last 2 rings aren’t real
This dude Whitlock omg dude are u serious
Kevin Garnett/Ray Allen, LeBron James and Kevin Durant all took their legacies in hand, joined up with other superstars and became champions. The optics and specifics of where they went might be different but ultimately they all did the same thing. If they weren't all time greats we wouldn't be discusdsing it at all.
Whitlock doesn't respect salads.
Tada Khamvongsa 😂😂😂😂😂
It doesn't need to hurt KD's legacy for him to join with LeBron....like what if KD was the MVP on their championship team?
you guys can't see all they talk about lebron James they need him for their jobs
Lester Baptiste real tlk
Good old days
Whitlock made the dumbest analogy ever, he’s talking like golden state didn’t have 72 wins in a season before they got kd
Yeah but they lost in finals was up 3-1 they needed kd to beat lebron so technically he is correct
And they won 73 not 72 and still lost in the finals that year
@@bobbylane7103 are you an idiot or just an over-sensitive troll?
KD is the truth PERIOD how can u put down great 😨
Then why can't he win without the Warriors?
Kunal Duggal can LeBron win without Kyrie and Love, or Wade and Bosh tho?👀
Pedrito bron can make finals without a HoF tho👀
It's crazy how one human being can do to someone while winning. Lust is such a downfall for all of us.
LeBron just mad Durant joined the Warriors before he could.
Hey Hayes Exactly!! 😂😂
Hey Hayes true
Hey Hayes LeBron cares too much about his legacy to ever join them.
Nawaf 7 what does that have to do with LeBron joining the Warriors tho. Stay on topic.
"You see, when lebron does it it's ok, but KD ruined the NBA".
Yautah they were very different moves. It’s very clear to see that.
They always say it's not the same apples and oranges it still fruit mofos
But everybody would be completely fine with lbj going to the warriors
It's not just that KD went to GS, it's playing style, commitment to defense, being coachable. LeBron's game doesn't fit GSW. GSW have a lot of shooters who can pass and will pass. That's what Kobe was saying. Empower your team. Everyone on GS it's empowered to take the ball up court, pass and/or shoot. Trust.
Marcus Thomas facts all Lebron want to do is stay pad
Kevin Durant is a snake!!! I always said that I never respected his rings. They're way too easy and he hasn't been tried and proven and he plays with 0 pressure.
Yes exactly what I'm saying!! If Lebron was on that team he would shoot 60% fg!!!
Haters gone hate even after Back-to-Back MVPs
You can't say that though. Warriors without Durant now is not a superteam. That superteam that went 73-9 is long gone. Lots of role players lost in acquiring Durant. Plus that "superteam" choked a 3-1 lead against lebron. Obviously that wasn't a superteam
Matt L it's not choking if they cheat for it get facts right
terry lewis lol you right.
Welcome to mid June in the NBA where the media creates stories to give their opinions on their stories for rating.
Feels like this topic is a way for media to say they don’t respect KD. I don’t really have much respect for him. My opinion and who cares about that really?
I DONT RESPECT YOU AND NEVER WILL 😂😂😂😂💯✔✔✔💯💯💯
Michael Brice exactly read between the lines
D Tennn 😂😂😂
I need Jim to get his own show
Mark Jackson draft them players S.Curry, Klay T and D. Green. He put that team together
True. He was basically the architect of that team. Wish he could've won a chip with them.
Savon Sanders I stand corrected. Jerry West is a master talent evaluator.
Haha! **Band wagon alert**
Mark Jackson wasn't even the coach when Curry was drafted.

Broussard went in on Whitlock 😂😂 defend us suburban kids man! 😂😂😂
Chris broussard he didnt want to guard DURANT TRUE
Lebron wanted to beat Boston big 3 he didn’t join them, kd joined the enemy that’s the difference
If a man says not 1..not 2..not 3..not 4..he has to be confident that they have a advantage! How is it different
Thank you! He also said "It's gonna be easy!"
Thank God for Broussard
Oakland is a suburban team? 🤣
Oakland, home of the Black Panters, suburban? 🤣
It's an analogy lol smh
That 2015 Golden State chip was won against a series of injured teams. No way they beat a healthy Cleveland
Miami was stacked
No
jim commentary has gotten alot better...he's on his A game lately
2016 LeBron 3 rings, Steph 1 ring. 2018 LeBron 3 rings, Steph 3 rings. LeBron blew a 3-1 lead.
neckboneschannel Lmao
neckboneschannel 😂😂💀 True!
neckboneschannel cuz steph cried to kd
This show wàs hard. Real strong solid debating going on.
🏌️
What LeBron and KD did were completely different. The Heat were no where near title contention when LeBron and Bosh showed up. The Warriors were already a well oiled title holding and contending machine. Plus the Heat hadnt just embarassed LeBron in the eastern conference championship game before he showed up. LeBron didn't join a back to back MVP and first time ever unanimous MVP in Miami. Durant left a team in OKC that was a title contender while LeBron left a poorly run Cleveland franchise.
Both guys are babies. MJ and many HOF never approved of such moves.
mogtrader8 it's a different time I'm sure if it was OK for players to leave and form teams back then they would've correction some would have
Whats your basketball resume to even call babies?
mogtrader8 Because they couldn't move around like that back than. Did u not know kobe was finna join mj in chicago if shaq wasn't traded? So lets not act like they was so perfect in the 90's.
Everyday we Lit Jordan was retired way b4 den.... but was trying to get traded to the bulls but it had nothing to do with Shaq... it was because the current lakers squad wasn’t able to compete
mogtrader8
Stop bringing up the past and “moves”
The guys back in the day didn’t move because there was no such thing as free agency.
If free agency and money were the same back then compared to today I guarantee you the past players would have moved around.
Broussard just dominates this panel, much respect
KD+LBJ ✈ LAL
U heard it here 1st.
1) its not gonna happen 2) we heard it plenty of places/times before here (you)
CARLOS GUTIERREZ IM ONE OF THE FIRST AND ITS GOING TO HAPPEN 💯💯✔✔✔💯 SORRY TO TELL EVERYONE BUT KD WILL NOT I REPEAT WILL NOT STAY IN GSW FOR THE REST OF HIS CAREER HE WILL LEAVE 💯
Its not fair the Warriors drafted so well.
How stupid is this? Warriors only team in the NBA who did it the right way yet get hammered constantly.
Whitlock is a fake Charles Barkley that has never played basketball...can you guys find a way to gain ratings without talking about Lebron? Pathetic...
What Whitlock said about the suburban team is hilarious.
Stacked?! The HEAT had a bunch of spare parts on their bench because they couldn't afford anyone else.
keith thomas Idk, a bench to give them a break here and there. You know like GSW are doing now.
uber24 Golden states bench is trash. They just look good because of the system. You think Nick Young and Javale McGee would get burn on another team?
They had a decent bench and at the time they had the best roster in the LEAGUE. People love trying to change the narrative now to make it sound like LeBron’s Heat team wasn’t that good. FOH he had the best roster in the NBA at the time.
Shane Battier, Rashard Lewis, Birdman, RAY ALLEN
What a trash bench smh
I mean... Ray Allen, shane battier, Udonis Haslem, etc. Were really good role players
In the words of CEO of Big Big Baller Brand: "I don't think he can comment on anything but snacks."
Hey FS1.........World Cup started. Russia beat Saudi Arabia 5-0.
kharis87 lol I'm not a soccer fan but I do wish they talked about other sports.
Yeah well Russia probably cheated😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tevin McCray for real. Little more variety in the sport coverage would be cool.
iron klad that's low 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
kharis87 they only really cover America sports
Why is Jim Jackson looking like he just came out of Potions class at Hogwarts?
the miami team was stacked? i think they were the underdogs 3 out of 4 years during that era.
Michael Kelly THANK YOU!!!
I don't like Jason Whitlock but he nailed the suburban Warriors analogy on the head 😂
KD is not leaving the warriors. Don’t get mad at the warriors for playing great team basketball.
U better respect the man that broke ur will in the finals....
What gave y’all the idea to make this a topic?
Nvm I guess Myles Garret started it lmao
This topic is definitely a reach.
This Everybody Gets Trophy movement has really taken over. Don’t be too good. If you’re too good it’s not fair.
Miami had just won a chip before bron joined. Wtf
5 years before is just before? They didnt even have the same coach fool!
Shaq, Zo, Walker, Posey, Williams, Payton, and Riley were all gone. It had been 4 years since then. Stop it.
Chris Sullivan so 4 years is the limit of yall disgust?
Nate That Dude And the Warriors blew up that 73-9 team to fit Durant
jarelle sugick No, it just wasn't even close to the same team.
This is the first time I've ever agreed to Whitlock. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷🏾♂️
Whitlock wants to be Skip more than Skip wants to be Skip.
People trying to disregard Whitlock's comments, but he is smart and right on point.
These dudes said Lebron ruined the game when he joined Miami. Now it’s KD. Smdh
Jason loves it when Colin ain't there. He gets full control and gets to say what.
Its funny how players are criticized for the moves they make but if the GM's were working these moves like it use to be they would get praised....
when J.Jackson said "Russel aint." I had to laugh with em.
Lebron respects his game but deep down he doesnt respect him
2 Championships and 2 Finals MVPs. As Durant said, he got a lot of "backlash" for his move, but to quote the attorney from "Billions"......."WORTH IT!"
They said Lebron went to "Apple" (Miami) to win... Kd went to "Apple" also (GS)... Seems similar to me
Whitlock’s “suburban” comments are hilarious and truthful.
I like Jim Jackson always says the truth!
