V71 is just the old 50 box that still does not give enough individual outputs. The snare still looks like an ugly electric snare. The kit he played sound worse than my TD27, until Roland actually get the module as good as it should be I will not be buying it. The editing program on a PC is about time, better late than never.
I think eventually Roland will go fully digital and also fully wireless. The sounds are definitely getting better and it’s nice to see them going back to built in wires on the rack kits. The Roland marketing team are experts and will continue to give players what they want while holding onto innovations for future kits to always keep us buying.
@@klinsmann6706 It has much needed improvements they have been years behind for too long in some aspects, editing on a PC is the big one for me and will have been a big reason I would have upgraded. I did tell Roland years ago that they should go and speak with they guys at another company they own, Boss. Boss makes guitar pedals and provide editing programs to edit and store effects settings on your PC, I know because I have them and are a game changer. The programs were already part written and they already employed staff that knew how to do this. I did suggest that they also give us all a firmware update that allow us all to do this with TD27 up. I doubt they will do this as they are greedy, mind you I am sure people would pay for it. I wish I had studied code.
@@ianmclean5541 why would anyone hang on to innovations...Makes no sense and does not happen. As soon as a design is working well, you have to get it out...
So many outs, amazing snare with throw off … well done!

0:27 Brad how did you get your face on the screen!

You won't be buying it but for other reasons
