It's from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Cesar is shaking a pair of old fashion shackles. I have watched all the reactors reacting to the young man losing his pants. Die laughing every time.
Little man all concerned whether they were really scarred or hurt, and the white eye, and what was that sticking out of his hand (shackles).... Not lyin', that touched my heart. And his brother sittin' there blown away by elements of the performance he knew impressed his dad. You've got a fine couple of sons there, Dad! More precious than a whole chest full of pirate treasure!
Listening to this is what I would call a visceral experience, it affects you physicially. As Lois says, Cesar is holding and shaking manacles/shackles, early form of handcuffs. In the film this song is sung first by a young boy on the gallows, waiting to be hanged, and is taken up by a long line of thieves and beggars, also waiting in line to be hanged. It's a song of protest you could say, defiance, against the troops and ulitinatly the East India Tea Company whose ships the pirates looted, and who showed no mercy to the poor.
You mentioned Layne's baritone - I don't think he started beatboxing until he pulled the cutlass out and did that cool transition. Detail about the makeup: at th hat time in history, if they did not hang the pirate, they branded their hand with a P. On their Patreon page (I think that is where I saw it), they had a picture of their brands. They bv all had VP brands! It is that crazy attention to detail that the geek in me loves. Also - the lighting is all red and blues EXCEPT at Eli's line "to Fiddler's Green". Off to Eli's side, there is a flash of green light. There are always so many little surprises in their videos. If you watch the Halloween video from Princess and the Frog, at J's line "hoodoo", the sacraficial chicken he holds is Hei Hei from Moana! Fun thing for you to point out to your boys.
I laughed so hard because your son reacted the exact same way you do😂😂 This is from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Really heavy scene at the beginning but it’s awesome. VoicePlay knocked it out of the park too
You have so well raised boys, can be so proud of. And i´m not getting enough of that song aswell, getting goosebumps evry time I listen to it and it was a LOT !!!
The hardest I have laughed a long time was watching your reaction to the young man who lost his pants, and then at seeing some of the comments and facial expressions from your older boy in this one. Especially his remark about Geoff's low notes breaking people.
I always always get goosebumps when I hear this. And I'm so glad I got a sleeve in POTC style with at the top captain Teague (Keith Richards epic epic guitarplayer) following the kraken and at the end Chinese coins. (There will be a follow up but that is another small project om my hand)
Geoffs low subharmonics sounds like one of my burps after downing a one liter room temperature rc colas lol 😆 loud and proud window rattling room mate waking ones that shake the house lol 😆
Hey King, since you've started doing non music reactions, I'd love to see you react to some videos by TheRussianBadger, and since you've done some Halo through Voice Play you could start with his video ArmorLockArmorLockArmorLock for Halo: Reach

"that was a nice transition"
Oh he definitely learned that from his dad 🤣. Love it

I caught QoFyReacts shortly after it posted and laughed my butt off. The reacters reaction chain and it's really good fun.
This arrangement was insane 💯
Still shocks me

Loved seeing the boys join you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kaleb!!!
You have so well raised boys, can be so proud of. And i´m not getting enough of that song aswell, getting goosebumps evry time I listen to it and it was a LOT !!!
have you ever looked at the look in Layne's eyes during this???
It’s hard to, the way they’re bugging out, insanely. 😜
That reaction with your kids was soooo cool and cute. This song blows my brain
You need to have the boys react to the Halo theme....Especially Geoff's lowest note ever....And Eli's highest note.....Would love to see that....
Love this one brother!!!! Cool you got your boy's on there!! Caesar is badass!! Love his voice. Love your guy's reaction!!
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, the scene where pirates are sent to the gallows. Its at the beginning

Still a great video. Glad you could all react together
Crazy goosebumps at the end!!

There can never be too many reactions to this song! Also, you seem like a really good dad. Props to you for that 👍🏻

Geoff Castellucci did the musical arrangement. He outdid himself. My absolute favorite everything. Show the boys "Friends On The Other Side.
Totally neat to see their reactions I can't say how many times I have watched this video I Love it too
This song is originally from pirates of the Caribbean at worlds end but it’s only a 1 minute song in the film xx
It was from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It was in the beginning scene of the movie. This is one of my favorite songs.
I always always get goosebumps when I hear this. And I'm so glad I got a sleeve in POTC style with at the top captain Teague (Keith Richards epic epic guitarplayer) following the kraken and at the end Chinese coins. (There will be a follow up but that is another small project om my hand)
Great idea, Dennis! Thank you for this
Geoffs low subharmonics sounds like one of my burps after downing a one liter room temperature rc colas lol 😆 loud and proud window rattling room mate waking ones that shake the house lol 😆
You recognize it because it's from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Then the final layer of reactors reacting would be voice play reacting to everyone lol
You should show Geoff Castellucci's cover of The Monster Mash! It would be so fun!!!! Great reaction to VoicePlay!!!
