    I would have tried a/c stop leak first. I had one leak bad several years ago and stop leak in it, I watched it stop leaking. That was 5 years ago and it still blows cold.

    • @RedneckGarage
      @RedneckGarage  6 років тому

      From the looks of the port I could see that there was leak detector put in it so I guessed it was too far gone.

    Did mine without pulling the column. Dash never left my tj. Just rolled it out of the way. I've done alot of heater cores over the years and this was far from the worst. A Mopar minivan I did called for 10 hours book time. This really wasn't that bad.

  • @ryansanger2754
    @ryansanger2754 Рік тому

    Good job but when you charge the ac don't tip the can upside down because that charges as a liquid and liquid don't compress . Therefore it will spike the compressor and make the compressor bad .

    2001 Jeep Wrangler, new to me. I am changing the evaporator and receiver dryer. Any recommendation on how much oil to add to the system? I am certain it has been leaking for quite a while, filled and refilled.

    Ok , key information would be how to get those pain in the ass heater core clamps off , how to set up the vacuum system, etc.
    But I guess I will figure it out.
    This truly looks like a bitch of a job to do.
    And thank you for the information you did provide.

    hello , I need to ask you a mechanical question about jeeps, it is possible to put a six cylinder engine in a yj factory that brings a 4 cylinder, is that I have a yj 1993 of 4, and the engine is bad rings, and I want more power to use without problems the wheels 33 that I am using without losing power, so, I need to know if it is possible to put a 6 cylinders with an AX15 transmission in my jeep?

    • @yotakev99
      @yotakev99 6 років тому

      Kinda late reply but you can do it. You just have to modify some stuff. You would need to weld new motor mounts in the proper place, get a 4.0 ECM, a 4.0 wiring harness I believe, and a few other things

    • @SeriouslyAwesome
      @SeriouslyAwesome 5 років тому

      Better off selling the 4 cylinder and buying a 6. If have to swap then go with an LS
