harrison fithian our internals are good for 450 hp. I actually have a ported new block, forged pistons and rods, I’ve been sitting on 1 year and a half. I’ve been pushing my car to the limits, knowing I have a spare more superior engine waiting. But it’s been 1 1/2 years and it’s still going strong, I even do regular smogs/emissions no problem . lol 😂 the only reason I have not done the swap yet is because I really won’t see any gains from it. And it’s a lot of work, maybe just a little from the ported block, but nothing significant. Also I might try to go big big turbo. On the other hand ie and apr , I really haven’t herd any horror stories about our engines going out, but revo is we’re engines blow up, from people having the sps controller, changing there actually tune. Boost/ timing/ and fuel. We’re as ours are preloaded. 1. The gfb diverter valve helped my turbo , hold boost, and spool up quicker , I had it on my K03 and I have it on my K04, not to expensive either. 2. Inter cooler can keep your air , cooler and dense, and you can see between 10-25 hp depending on your set up 3. There always water methanol, you can see a 20% horsepower increase between 40hp to 80hp 4. Sprint booster or pedal command helps with you 0 to 60 times, and helps with lag throttle computer delay. 💪💪💪💪🤜🏽🤜🏽🤜🏽💯💯💯💯💯💯

well kinda both . I have an rsnav upgrade, which is essentially a Tesla screen incorporated with the factory radio. I guess you can say a computer in your car. Impressive for a 2.0. Also I own a 2015 A4 SLine, only mods are cts turbo air intake, cts turbo turbo muffler/resonator delete , cts turbo DVD spacer and cts turbo intercooler with charge pipes. Stock exhuast so its quiet 🤫. But you hear all turbo noises. Also its not tuned.
main you have a nice set up, tune would unleash all of your mods, so here's any explanation on power limits I have had a new back up engine, with forged pistons and rings for a 1year and a half now. expecting for the worst, and figured, I would just put in the engine, if this one blew. but its still going strong. one tunner told me 400hp one told me 430 and one told me 450 hp people typically blow there engines when they don't do things in correct order, like for example getting a bigger turbo, and not matching the fuel, or having the proper components, like the right heat range spark plugs, and burning them out, and causing pre detonation. running lean and such. also running higher octane tunes, with out the proper fuel. Also people who custom tune, or can change there boost and timing like revo blow there engines. Its mostly user error I also rarely run into any one who has blew there engine. some people classify low compression, or a bent valve , or old head gasket as a blown engine. when there are so many components that can cause that, for example wrong oil, or lack of maintenance on a vehicle. Im living proof it's possible, and think about it a stage 2 tune on an s3 can put you around 430 hp, which is the exact same engine, for exception of the injectors. Its no different in some one saying camber is bad, and you only can fit a certain size rim on your car.

Air intake, from from 100$ to 250$ quick mod, anything tune wise will bring in more air flow, so it’s always good to knock this one out 2. Sprint booster/pedal commander, from $200-300 biggest bang for your buck, other than a tune 3. Race chip is about 250$ but it only gives you 35 hp, regular tune recommended, but this can get you a little more than factory’s, kind of like an enhanced sport mode 4. Yes for sure , I just did one on revo vs apr however, revo, and ie, are just as good as apr. even more aggressive down low. Apr is a bit safer, or conservative. But they all reach the top end same time.
