See you in the next video.
Sincerely Samantha Burroughs.
So nice to see the face behind the hands and voice, beautiful hair and beautiful cat, fabulous tips, tfs
Was going to say exactly the same. I’ve learned so much from Samantha too. 😊 thank you!
Great tips! And thanks for being on camera again. It adds a personal touch. And goodness, I didn't realize your hair was so long! Beautiful cat too!
One tip you might want to add when you’re done sanding, especially something that may have texture in it, and the white powdery grit gets down in the texture while your piece is still wet use soap and your toothbrush on the piece and get it really clean before it dries you can get it wet again and scrub it later but if you catch it while it’s still wet the first time, it’s much easier to get the white chalky grit out of the standard piece. This is particularly something that may have a textured back but you send in the front and the edges. Once it’s dry it’s like plaster and you can get it out but it’s a lot more work.
This is more helpful than you know for beginners. Thank you!
Thank you for the very cool video. I was wondering how hard to sand, and the video really helped me. It is also nice that we got to meet your assistant. My cats are "so helpful".
Great tips Samantha, thank you - all of them very useful. Good to see you in person and you have a beautiful cat. Have a wonderful weekend.
Yes I have sanded my fingers.. I appreciate the tips!
It's great to put a face behind the name. I'm fan of a clay and kitties myself. Btw, that koi is absolutely stunning!!
I just discovered your site today and have been bingeing videos! Thank you! I love your cat; mine never let me hold her for long!
Great tips. Lovely to see your face ! I love your cat!
Great tutorial and tips! Thank you very much 😊. ❤
Thank you so much!❤❤❤
Fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing these tips! 😍 I've already sanded my fingers and I will follow your advises from now on 😎👍👍👍
Thanks for the tips!
Second tip I might add this as you sand more. You will noticed that when you’re on a level of sandpaper, it’s harder to sand at the beginning, but as you sand, there is less drag and it gets easier and easier on that grit😊 level once it starts slipping really easily across the surface, you know it’s time to move on to the next level of sandpaper.
Great tips! All of which I am sure to use! Thank you!
Thanks for the tips i am going to attempt my 1st sanding session tomorrow
Ooo, yes I tryed sanding my fingers, Thanks for your tips ❤❤
Thanks for the tips! They will definitely come in handy. I was sanding pieces last night and I kept sanding my nails and fingertips.
Love your cat! She looks so much like my cat Miss Wiggles, only your cat is almost double in size. 😊
All very good useful tips, I will have to try in the future. Thank you very much.
Thank you! Good advice!
Great tips and tutorial as always.. thank you ❤️😺
Thanks for posting your tips. I like them all but number 4 pertains best for me. Can't remember how many times I have sanded the tips of my fingers. I love your cat. It's an exact replica of my gray tiger stripe kitty.
Thanks so much Samantha. Giant cat!
Great tips!
Thank you and those koi are beautiful!!
Thank you. It's a cane from a tutorial I plan to release soon.
Absolutely love all of your tips , especially the one to save my finger tips from sanding lol . Thanks for sharing 👍 ❤
Beautiful like your work 😊 thanks for the Tipi ✨🙏🏻🌺
Great tips. Thank you.
Great tips
Thank you that was helpful
Grazie per i consigli. Sei veramente molto brava. Un saluto dall'Italia.
So nice to see your beautiful face again! 😍
Haven't seen you on camera in a while...other than your hands, of course 😀
Your kitty is gorgeous too (but I can't remember her name).
As always thanks for the video & the great tips 😁
Thank you. The kitty is KitKat. :D
Ditto, and I also like the painting behind you.
Yes!!! Too many bandaids & did it more than once!😢
🙏❤
🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
I don't sand big or flat pieces like that. I sand tiny figures and use the finest sandpaper. And yet the sanded part of the figure becomes this white streaky mess no matter what!!! What am I doing wrong?
After the final sanding, use an old, soft toothbrush with dish soap to remove the fine white powder that gets caught in the pores of the clay surface. Rinse well using the toothbrush while rinsing.
Exactly what @suzannederoth said.
