- Hi, thanks for watching my short video on Jean-Luc Goddard's bizarre, science-fiction film noir Alphaville.
I knew I wanted to do this video in French, in a style that (I hope) pays tribute to the spirit of the film. I couldn't have done so without the wonderful support of David, Luciana and Audrey, three native French speakers who helped whip my accent into something bearable, I hope any French listeners will not be offended by my attempt!

Took me a few seconds to realize you were doing this entire thing in French! Very impressive. I've been practicing recently and this video motivates me to keep learning. Fantastic stuff as always. Most underrated channel on the platform.
Thank you for the kind words, I kinda knew this video may not do as well due to the language barrier and also the fact I was trying to emulate French New Wave voice-over. I will say this, since making the video my French as improved massively!
