Had the camera for about 3 month in my garden. Records about 20-30 events a day. Never been below 80% charge with mostly dull and short winter days. Love it
The camera has various motion detection settings like human only, pets or all motion. The AI recognition works a lot better if the camera is connected to the eufy hub, which enhances the AI capabilities. (Around $ 150) The event recording time can be set in the app. While the event recording for say 30sec can be handled by the battery/solar panel, continuous event recording for all motion events would probably drain the battery very quick. Recordings can be accessed via the app on your phone or tablet stored on the hub. The hub internal memory can be extended to several terra bytes. Hope this helps

I got mine because I have a hostel neighbor. His teenage daughter was threatened me. I recently called the police that could make them more hostel. I'm elderly and live alone and need to see if they are on my property so I can call the police. I don't want to get jumped so I have to know who's around. Thank you for the review.
Within that lies the problem - app shows the faces that I selected, but the dots shown on the calendar indicate ANY clip taken that day, not the filter I requested.
As in internal/external storage? Yes, once it's full the newest file will override the oldest. If you mean as one continuous file? No. Hope that helps some, Richard!
Yes and no. I did a review of 330 (aka eufycam 3) @ ua-cam.com/video/7047Imq8h5k/v-deo.html. Personally, I can't wait for eufy to combine the camera sensor of the 330 with the charging efficiency of the 340.

For not being able to filter by face i noticed you can click on the face thumbnail and it will show you all events that day with that person. 5:08

Can you mount the solar panel on a roof with shingles?
Not with the included hardware. You'll need a third party mount specifically for shingle mount. Thanks for your question!

Does it 24/7 record?
Solar or battery-operated cams usually don't record continuously for power conservation. You CAN set different lengths for captured clips, fwiw
