When you fell out of your shoulder sit, I could totally relate! It's both funny and exhausting, but I don't know how many times I've fallen out of lifts lately!
+mydancetv hmm I don't know. I think I'd be scared. plus I don't know any schools that even offer a summer intensive class. I take class at a community college
Hi Robbie! I really enjoy your videos, you're an awesome dancer! I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I have been dancing since I was 3, but basically I took a break from ballet, and now I really want to start again, it really is my passion. But I would be with kids much younger than me because of the almost 3 years I missed. From another dancer's POV, do you think it would be worth going back to that studio? I mean I guess what matters is that I'm improving as a dancer, but I would be with little kids, coming in mid year...I don't know. Thanks for the help! :)
we have multiple girls who most would think couldn't do the leaps that the rest of us could do but some of them jump higher than us so any one can ballet it's not for skinny girls who started at a young age it's for who ever wants to do it
well it is a disadvantage, dancers all look the same because in order to be successful you must be built a certain way. long muscular but thin legs, high arched feet with relatively flat toes, small arms and delicate hands, small waist and boobs. it's very specific
You just have to keep practicing. If you want to throw a double pirouette than make sure you go fast. it helps a lot if you just got your fouettes!! :) Hope that helped
Robbie I know this is a super general question that you get a lot.... But how are you so perfect? I'm completely serious. How did you develop such flawless technique besides just taking class everyday?!
Thank you but I have more work to do =) My advice is to stay focused and just practice, practice, practice and don;t beat yourself up =) Stay positive! Remember your corrections!

I wish I could do a pas de deux class.
+Zephie lovet can you find a summer program that offers it

Zephie lovet I also was a little bit scared the first time, but it's really fun
This is on my recommendations just after I watched mma 2020
And here I am after watching it and subsequently stumble across your comment. What a fate 💃
Lol same
UA-cam won't let me reply to anything marked linked comment. So annoying!
Why's that one kid wearing a hoodie in pas de deux class? It could only get in the way.
It can be awkward if you have to dance with a boy you like... trust me... I know :D
ur everywhere help
Oh yea. Pas is the most difficult thing but the best thing lol. Lots of “no, that was my fault” (s) XD
I wish my studio has more boys :(
Same. My old studio had NO boys. so sad :(
Mine has 0
I wish my studio has boys :(
rDon't feel bad. I knocked a kayaking instructor into the lake once.\
I never did get to Pas de deux Level as an Adv pointe dancer in my Teens. But wanted to...soooo badly!! You looked great!
Makes me miss ballet!
Same it's a shame I quit I really want to get back into it but I think I'm too old (I'm turning 13 soon)
no your not! I quit at 12.. went back at 13 and lasted a year.. but thats only because i got injured. You're never too old!
You're definitely not to old!!!
+Hayley JS your not to old. I'm a guy who started at the age of 22
Hayley JS I’m 13 and take dance classes I know people who are in high schoool who are in my class don’t worry
the girl with orange hair is so cute!
Love to watch the dancers =) Hate to hear a jet using their floor as a landing strip =(
The girl in the back without a partner lol
They probably rotate partners, not unusual
for me to have 4 different ones in an given class.

Is your studio near a airport it always sounds like there aeroplanes
I really want to do ballet, but I am very self conscious and I am way too fat so I can't. 😔
i do ballet and i honestly love it. ballet dancers are all shapes and sizes and every one of them is beautiful. I defiantly think you should do it!

Perhaps you should try hip hop. Still fun with better body image attitude.
The only concern would be pointe work if you're really overweight, but I highly doubt you are. I know how hard these clique people judge themselves...

my studio ha ONE, ONE FRIGGING BOY only ONE
Been there done that!
Suddenly UA-cam recommend this to me after 7 years😂😂 but this is good though

aww i know the first guy you were dancing with, ive taken class with him and he dated a friend hehe
Is that Tom on the youtube channel teen recats in RECATS
Are you guys near an airport?
The boy at 0:55 is squatting and standing up too soon. He should squat lower right as the girl is going up so that she can get on the shoulder.
don't kick yourself over it, everyone I've ever worked with has had a pointe shoe in their eye :)
