During London raid 1940, Buckingham palace was bombed nine times. the King and Queen remained at Buckingham Palace throughout the War. Additionally, King George V and Queen visited bombed areas to cheer people up. Meantime, Adolf Hitler lost most of his elite pilots including those instructors at pilot schools during London air raids in 1940.
King George V reigned from 1910 to 1936 - you are referring to King George VI. King George V led Britain through World War I.
If Adolf Hitler took the advice from his Air Force minister during the England strait air raids, he would dominant European sky from British isles to Siberia in 1940. Given the fact, Hitler was first to spearhead in Atom weaponry and missile technology, NO ONE and NO ONE would stop him from taking the whole planet earth 🌎 once he has the entire Europe on his side. King George VI is the true guardian angel of today’s free world. We all owe him a great debt of gratitude for this.

@@medicalpanoramaKing George V had more contribution than that. He was the founder of the Windsor dynasty, he modernized the monarchy and steered it from Victorian era to modern times, he kept the monarchy going during and after the ww1 in a time when 13 monarchies in Europe toppled. Its sad that you guys only care for George VI but not for George V
