Ah The sweet sound of open exhaust on a 4 banger 🤣 I had that same issue on a old 305 that would not run , plugged cat .
Heck, my 88 Fiero plugged the cat, what a rocket ship when I cut that thing off!

@@Turbo231 I got an 87’ I’m considering doing this to but first I need to fix the idle which may be a vacuum leak.
