555 purs like a kitten. Like you said will get alot of work done. Thanks for the showing us your progress.
Captain your pond has turned into a beautiful relaxing spot, the backhoe is a big help now with cleaning up and moving all that dirt.
Good morning. Loved the intro!!!
Thank you!
It's amazing the reborn ford doing the reborn bell tower. That's a beautiful place for all the hard work you've put in it and the ford seems happy now.
Thanks Jim
I’m glad you repaired the backhoe brother, it’s definitely paying off for you Mike! Good save my friend, you needed it! Thanks for sharing Mike, Kirk from Louisiana! Stay safe my friend! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Kirk
Great to see the ol' girl earning her keep! Can't imagine life without a backhoe. 😄
It's pretty handy
So nice to see the triple nickel rewarding you for your hard work and perseverence last winter! And smart of you to realize when the faithful 755 is a more sensible choice for certain tasks. Well done, Mike!
A couple of small projects that might help you out Mike. Replace one of you tractor lift links with a chain or fabricate a modified link with a pipe in a pipe. If you're just trying to smooth the ground, your land plane will follow the contour of the ground without digging in or passing over the area you are trying to smooth.
I took one of my chains and placed multiple hooks on the end. I then took some chain choke dog collars which I pass over the ends of the limbs and then attach to the hooks. Makes it easy to attach a pile of brush and they don't slip off.
Thanks for another great video by the way.
The best thing about Bones and Old Trusty is there are no backup horns! Just the sounds of old school diesels doing their job!
💪
Just something about watching that 555 back in use. Quite satisfying.👌🤙
💪
Oh Captain,, You have one Idea to the other! And beginning the to make! But to the Finishing it is a long Time! To finish the first and beginning then the next.
Greeting from Austria 🇦🇹
I think your pond is the best looking spot on your property from my perspective.
Thank you
Glad to see work will be starting on the yacht project again.
I have no connection to that bell tower, but I'm always grateful to see history being saved ,and not just demolished
💪
Mike you have got that old backhoe running pretty well! With the jobs you have for it it should last you a long time!
Hope so!
You are having just way too much fun with that backhoe.
💪
Heart in mouth moment that the bell tower was going down into the pond.
You are defintely enjoying that backhoe way way too much, LOLOLL. It's nice to be in the situation to be able to rent DPs stuff when you need it and it's available, but nothing like having your own equipment you can use any time you need or want to. When you get the bell tower finally finished off completely you should put a small plaque inside that briefly tells the story about the tower. Would be cool.
Definitely nice having my own machine
Hi Mike, Now your having fun! Those 2 machines really are your Dynamic Duo! You’re just getting so much done now! I’m so pleased for you and as always excited to see what comes next. Great work!!!
Jerry..UK
Bell Tower videos are a great watch. Kinda where I started my" 3 hour tour" with the captain
Love to hear it
I first learned how to run a backhoe on a '68 Case 580 CK with no cab....so the Fords I always thought they were awkward to run....but to each his own!!!
All of the repairs that you have done on that backhoe has really paid off.
Thanks Allen
That 555 should be renamed and called 'The Kleeman Special 555 & 1/4' .
You have shown how, out of one mans scrap you can make a very useful machine. I am happy that you stuck with it and not only came through with the project but learnt an awful lot on the journey. Well done, Stay safe and well Regards to the family.
That old (new) backhoe looks like a game changer for you Capt. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Love your channel. Thank you. 👍
Clint is going to get upset seeing how well that 555 is working .He's going to wish he kept it. Great video Mike . keep up the good work.
Lol
Looking really nice at the pond. I can’t believe you went this long without the 555. An awesome addition to your property. Great job again !
It's gonna be handy
Good job it's great to see the old 555 earning its keep!
Thought the tree was going to fall on me, the you trip me with the branch. Wowzers. 🤣🤣🤣
My bad
JD 755 couldn’t stand it. He had to make an appearance in 555’s video. I think he was getting jealous. 😁
Great video.
🤣
Love that old Ford rebuilt like new.
💪
Such a sweet history of the bell tower Mike.
Something y'all will cherish forever.
Definitely
I could have sworn that Bell Tower was coming over, but it didn't, and I was amazed I held my breath. You have gotten quite good at working that back hoe . Thanks again as always for putting a huge smile on my face, thank you for sharing.
I had visions of the tower falling over, rolling down the hill and into the pond.
But I'm a troubled old broad
I was a little worried myself, but it worked out
@@CaptainKleeman It turned out very well I remember when you went and got it
Time lapse makes the tractor look efficient 😊
But it beats the shovel and that it starts up easy,is got to be a good bonus for you ,and if you up skill with the old girl ,you will be better in the other machines
Captain gets a Backhoe and trees start coming down all over the place, what’s up with that 😂 Bones is making you proud 💪👍🇺🇸
Lol it's in its nature
Genius is an understatement, bud. You are a very subtle character, Mike.
Thank you mark
The old 555 makes work so much more enjoyable
Great investment
Considering that 555 is 40 something years old, I'm amazed at the amount of grunt it still has. I think Mike needs to look in his rear view mirror, with the backhoe and the John Deer there doesn't seem to be many tasks you can't handle. Might take you a bit longer to build a dam or lay a 1000 yards of tile, but you'd get there. 👍
Slow but sure!
Hello from the Netherlands Kleeman Family .
thanks for the video Mike 👍.
Sincerely Hollandduck
Hey Bub , friendly advice , add a solar powered pump to that pond , airiates them fishes, they'll live and love yous for it .
You and your full pond… such a tease
🤣🤣
The number of times my heart skipped a beat... the worst was waiting for that tree to land right on that kayak LMAO very suspenseful video, Capt'n! ;) great job !
🤣
It's been fun to watch the 555 rebuild and seeing what a great machine it is becoming. Keep on keep'n on.
Thanks Alan
It is nice having more tools in the toolbox.
Definitely
It takes a whole lot of work to reveal the "natural" beauty of a piece of property.
Definitely
Great work…it’s easy to visualize and make steps happen with new(er) equipment. Your skills have to be so much more when you factor in such limitations of repurposed (second life) or undersized equipment. When you add in tight spaces, soaked soil, and staying out of the pond, you have to break it up into steps (like you did). It’s like one of those puzzles where you have to move other blocks around first in order to make room to move blocks into the correct position (thinking multiple steps ahead).
It can be tricky, but it can always be done
The captain comes across as a clumsy accident prone person but he’s not in truth. Probably One of dirt perfect better operators friends
It's funny you say that. I see a little forest, Lt Dan, and bubba in him. 😮🤔🤔🫡🫡
Couldn't agree more. He is intelligent, articulate and personable.
Captain and Jerry can both go and work by themselves and get things done
He's not a DP or a Aaron and I would say that he is on the higher spectrum .
He's proving himself at being able to tackle many things
His style is intellectual
The best part of that "triple nickel": NO Friggen DEF nonsense 😂
💪
👍 Yep, the tower's cool.
Thank you
Pond and surroundings are shaping up well. Good to see you have given the bell tower the love it deserves. Once your history in buildings is lost, your roots go too. Too much wanton destruction of old agricultural buildings in my view. Best from the UK.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Nice to see the pond again, still looks great. Glad to hear it’s been getting used and needs the additional parking. Grading looks good. Wishing you and your family the best.
Still think the bell tower would look great on an old reclaimed stone silo as a lookout tower.
I definitely agree that would be cool
I love watching the 555 work. Keep up the good work. As always awesome video.
I hope there is a video of y’all fishing. Would to see those 2 girls catching fish. Maybe Chelsea can show us how to cook them. Always looking for a new recipe. Happy Birthday Miss. Lilly.🐶
great video Captain, it's going to look nice, wish you had the time to show us the cat fish in the pond, maybe later this summer 👏👏👏👍👍👍👌
Thank you
Good content Capt, like the re model 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍
Thanks Ray
Nice improvement to the pond/Belltower project Mike. BTW, I think you need to call the JD Dentist. The poor triple Nickle needs a bucket tooth. 😉
If you could find a backhoe junkyard for parts. That would help. Cheaper I would think. Things are coming together. Looks good. Thanks
Captain, your pond and surrounding area are lookin' pretty slick.
There's definitely going to be tons of happy family memories made around and in the pond thus summer.
That snaggle toothed bucket on the Ho did a biod job diggin' out the stumps and the area you wanted cleared that's for sure.
All the hard work, blood, sweat and I'm sure a few tears and suppressed cuss words getting that Ho up and runnin' has proven worth it with this project checked off that long list of homestead improvements you got.
Y'all have a really happy summer Captain Kleeman.
Making progress!
Love the bell tower ,nice shrine to your grandma ! She would have been thrilled, I'm sure.
Great stuff Mike, the old 555 might be a tad slow but she gets there in the end, well worth doing the repairs on her, will do lotsa work for not lotsa dosh.
💪
Didn't think you would need parking by the pond, just goes to show how much I know 🤷♂️🤦♂️😂
Now the reasons make sense, just as well you have the incredible duo for the job !!! 💪💪💪
That has got to feel good using your own equipment to do this job. Also, very gratifying after all the work you put into the backhoe. Don’t you love it when a plan comes together.
💪
Dang am i ever glad i saw your video. I am totally green to equipment operating and will get my new kubota tractor delivered to my farm in a week or two. I couldn't afford the grapple for my bucket but did get pallet forks. I never thought of moving trees with forks lol. Seeing that made my day since beavers have dropped several trees around my pond and i want to drag them to my seacan for firewood. Seeing you haul trees on your forks sure showed me how much more i can use my tractor when it arrives.
Awesome video and your pond looks amazing. That is a true piece of paradise there.
Your like a kid in a candy store with that 555, Your going to get a lot of work done.
💪
Nice job done there “captain”… love seeing the joy on your face as the 555 gives you the results!!!
Thank you!
I can see the addition of a thumb on that 555 in the future.
Capn', hope you are able to take some time to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Everyday
You keep putting out good content Captain! You have become a good backhoe operator! 😎👌👌
Thanks rich
Great work. The property is really taking shape. The 555 is going to make your life much easier. Very cool regarding the history of the Bell Tower. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate ya watching
Ya know that firewood can be round captain. Those tops had a lot of burn in them. I always kept some rounds for night burning. The burn slow but for a long time. Near as I can tell you left a ten foot section of stuff in that last pull that would have been easy pickings. I went for two whole years just going out and cutting left over tops from a logging operation. All walnut and made great firewood. cut everything from two to six inch rounds and later split the large stuff a bit but most burned whole. Just cut to length. We called them night logs to avoid having to wake up and stoke the fire.
If I can't run it through the processor, it gets burnt.
Almost got your darn boat
Nice work with the backhoe - becoming quite proficient using it. Such a pretty pond and the view from the Bell Tower.
Definitely shaping up nice!
That backhoe will continue to be an asset. (Bought one 14 or 15 years ago, don't know how I survived most of my life without it.) Thanks for the video, take care.
Definitely going to be handy
You have to sit back and look at the 555 and think to yourself……. I brought that thing back to life and love it! It’s pretty cool to be proud of yourself! I often think if my dad were still alive, he would be proud of me as well. Life is so much easier when you are willing to use your brain and hands together!
💪
I see you’re certainly getting your money’s worth out of that Ford backhoe. Despite the invasion of the mini-excavator, this is still the backbone of the small contractor. No other machine is as versatile, and kudos to you for restoring it. You still have work to do on it, but I have no doubts that you have found a compliment to your Deere 755. Good luck to you this summer. You’re going to get a lot done.
The backhoe is definitely proving it's worth
Looking pretty smart mike...
💪
Clint really did you a solid getting you the backhoe Mike! Thank you for bringing us along on your adventure buddy!
Absolutely
Do not destroy your boat, said mom!😂
Hey Mike The next time you use the background take the front bucket tip it over and use the back end of the bucket to stab into the ground it will. Help you stay still when you need the pool stumps plus it's a good E break so you can pick up the Back end of the background and you don't have to worry about it moving
It was
Looking good down by the pond! Really appreciate the time and effort you put in to producing your videos Captain. Thanks!
Thank you David
Saving history and enjoying the outcome 😊
Great job again. Kleeman looks nice.
Thank you
Hey Mike. That's awesome about your grandmas bell tower. I never met my grandparents. Wish I could have. My dads dad was a blacksmith here in Detroit in the late 1800's. I sure could have learned a lot from him. Thanks for posting.
I bet he had a lot to teach
When you dig keep your dirt as close to the hole as possible. Be safe captain
Great job 👍👏🙋♀️🇨🇱
Thank you
You’re getting pretty good at operating the backhoe! Good job 👍
Hi I have enjoyed all the videos about your journey with the 555, but it is great to see you working with it not on it (until the next one with the spanner’s ) good job, all the best 👍🐝🌞
Thanks Jim
It's like you read my mind, I was wondering why you weren't using the pulverizer on the 755, and then BOOM, you explained your friend was borrowing it. Great minds think alike.
💪
For a guy who gets his hands dirty, you have a creative eye too.
Awesome video, love watching !
Thanks Andy
"The little Deere that could", amazing what You can do with that little tractor. Great video Mike, I always enjoy Thursdays and Sunday mornings.
Thank you sir
The more you use that 555 the more i just love it. The tower looks brilliant there!
Thank you!
The progress by the pond is impressive! Your dedication to creating high-quality videos is commendable, Captain. Thank you for sharing your work with us. Keep up the great job! 🌳🏞🎥
Appreciate the feedback
Work smart not hard ... enjoy your videos .. keep up the good work
The old backhoe is really doing alot better than I thought it would. I didn't think you would ever get it running again . Took a lot of work though .
Worth it.
I mixed some sand into some of the dirt here to allow better drainage. It worked.
Great job! It has probably already been mentioned and is on your never ending "to do" list but, that hydraulic hose needs to be tied up before it catches on something. So glad that your pully system worked so smoothly and the cribbing that was used to move it to the pond had not weakened to where the screws came out during the move. Looking forward to upcoming events.
It amazes me how much work that little Deere is capable of doing.
Loved the history on the old bell tower.
Thanks!
Thank you Captain for taking us along. Great content!
Appreciate ya watching
