My son Conner and I ran into Captain Kleeman tonight on the west side of Evansville. What a great opportunity for Conner to meet someone he talks about so much. Captain is the same guy in person as he is on here. Super friendly and nice. Thanks again Mike for being so approachable it was a pleasure to meet you! 😊
Cap’n, I read a book to my daughters when they were in grade school titled “Oh The Things We’ll Do”. It showed all the places they will go, the people they’ll meet and the jobs they could do. If I’d had your channel back then, I wouldn’t have to read… just poke the play button. You have more adventures than any writer ever put into a child’s head. I bet that you never dreamed 10% of the stuff you do, when you were growing up! I’m glad the salvage job was worth the effort. But, like you, I’m ready for the next adventure. Thanks bud.
I think the pep talk with the 555 really motivated you both thru this project. So many things can happen to stall a project like this and you avoided them, mostly. Great JOB Captain! Look forward to seeing more. Cheers
73,000 subscribers! All this project did was build your reputation for grinding and being very honest and sincere which we all knew you are! Happy for the number of subscribers. Thanks for the video sir God bless
Hi Mike, I do feel honoured that I was able to follow you on this project and for that I thank you! Above all else you should be very proud of yourself!! Jerry ..UK
This project reminded me of my Wisconsin childhood (60's - 70's). I helped my dad remove a bricked extension (old chicken coop?) attached to our garage that was falling apart (my childhood home was built in the early 40's or so). Spending all day chipping the mortar off of the bricks. We saved everything we could. Looking forward to many more videos from you.
I have enjoyed this adventure, removing the limestone. Always on Monday, you put a smile on my face to start my day off. This most definitely is my most favorite channel. Thank you for sharing your adventure.😊
Hi Mike. Nice job on the limestone salvage and cleanup of the old church. I'll bet the property owner is pretty happy too. Slowly dismantling the church and pushing it into the hole saved him a bundle of work. Thanks for the video! -mike
Definitely a win win project. Got lots of limestone for free, helped clean up a lot for a customer, and got paid for the demo/clean up! Best part is the 555 was a champ, despite the occasional no start and flat tire issues. Also put the quick attach to the test with the forks and buckets! 👍👍💪💪
You should be very proud of yourself. It's nice to see someone with your work ethic. Not afraid to put in the time and effort to acomplish something that will better your life. Hopfully some of these phone zombies out there will get inspired by you and do something other than stair at a phone screen all day. Thanks for taking us along on all your adventures.
You must feel extremely blessed to get through this project with no tire punctures, it has been a very interesting series to watch, thanks for bringing us along.
Hi don’t think I have ever been disappointed with one of your videos, and so I think it has to be one of two things, I am easily pleased or you give great content. To be honest I am a pretty easy going chap, but Great content nailed it again, keep going young man. 👍👍🐝🌞
I think this was a great project. You saved tons of Indiana limestone from being buried in that basement and seen to fruits of your labor on the 555 backhoe was indeed a positive experience. You saved one thing from being lawn art to something you can use for art around the pond and other areas on the homestead.
Mike, you really did well, despite you and the 555 getting stoned everyday on the project. I always love and appreciate your commentary cause it literally makes me laugh out loud. I am sure you are very proud of yourself and all the hard work you did on the 555 to prepare for this job. So glad you got through it safely and met your goals!! May you continue to be abundantly blessed. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Great job Mike, you are on unorganized 😅 individual , you told us the plan in the beginning. By the grace of Our Lord you proved it could be accomplished in your limited time frame. We are all super proud of you. Take care of yourself and family.
I like that you clean the limestone before you palletize it, I have done some salvaged brick reuse that we had to clean and it was a pain to clean them up!!
Looking forward to seeing whatever project that limestone turns into on the homestead. Your time and money invested in the 555 has definitely paid for itself. And it is now making money for you. That's got to be satisfying!! Greg
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Glad the job turned out being a benefit to you. Looking forward to seeing the stone being used around your place. Wishing you and your family the best. Tom
That’s some beautiful stone you got there Mike, hard work but well worth the effort. The 555 has paid its keep. Great deal , you got beautiful stone and the owners got a very competent demolition, win win situation 👍🇺🇸🇬🇧
After watching the entire project, I have to say that I am very impressed with this project, and how hard you worked on it. To tackle this project by yourself just amazed me! The 555 is worth it's weight in gold! I am so thankful to C&C Equipment for finding it for you, and for all of your labor on getting it running like a champ. (And also a few bucks from your pocket.) I hope this church project helped to recoup some of those costs. I always look forward to your videos. You are a creative genius, and your sense of humor always gets me laughing. You are a job to watch. ALWAYS informative and very entertaining! Kudos to you, Mike!!!!!!
Good job Michael. Here’s an idea for your next demo job. Put some signs out advertising your UA-cam channel so those folks who drive by and see it might tune into your posts. Might get more subscribers.

Nice finish to the project, 36k is a good haul as far as I can see. The triple nickel payed for itself on this project, it run great and can’t wait to see what the next upgrades to it are. Thanks for the update sir.
Really nice to see that the quick attach is working great! The switching and the amount you have to lift/push seems like it's a good stress test to see how it handles.
Awesome Job What a lot of work done by one man. Can't wait to see what you do with all of the material. At least you didn't get splattered with mud like DP did in his video today . See you on the next one. 🤠
Fascinating project A bit of history with the recovery of some nice limestone slabs. Great job, photography and audio, editing Appreciate your descriptions and explanations of the situation and alternatives Thx again Looking forward to more great videos Glad I found this channel Entertaining and informative
Watched this video a second time just days after the first because it’s so enjoyable 👍 Pretty sure you left the site far tidier than you had to Mike but not surprised as you’re clearly totally fair and honourable when it comes to agreements. Excellent work as always 👍 Best wishes to you and yours Mike, from Britain 👍🇺🇸🇬🇧

Thanks for another great video,i was laughing at you leaving the copper tank. In the UK that would have been stolen while it was still in the building.
After the 1994 Northridge earthquake I had a job chipping concrete off of cinder blocks and stacking them. Here’s to you Capt’n, some of us know the joys you have just experienced.
We’ve been here a month… knowing you’d pull it off. Only a genius would’ve taken it on - a mad genius - but genius nonetheless. Can’t wait to see what the stone is turned into.
