Using the word lazy doesn't do gamefreak justice, as it's not like they stood in a room and picked the colors they liked. Flabebe, however, is unforgivable, because that was when they started picking colors

The off white is actually still there for Togekiss but due to the visual change they had going from 2D to 3D where the colors became a bit more faded it's harder to notice now
i think leafeon could have looked better if the leafs were browned a bit while the body turns slightly lighter, making it look like its turning into an autumn form bc plant

A concentrated color has more of that color added to it, whereas a diluted color has more of that color taken away, making it appear slightly whitish. You can probably look on the Internet for a better explanation, but hopefully I at least helped a little.
Well, rather than concentrated, the more correct term is actually saturated. Higher saturation means a more bold-looking colour; less saturation tends to be more faded and lighter.

not to be rude ir anything but are you color blind? It lowkey concerned me when you talked about Togekiss. To me the whites are very differnet (don't get me wrong tho it's still a lazy shiny) the one has a very obvious yellow tinge while the other has a blue, i don't know how you could have missed that to be honest

I honestly have never seen Igglybuff and I got it right by basing my decision on "well which one is lighter colored?" This is the general rule of thumb for gen 1-6
I'm one of "those" shiny hunters, so I aced all of these but I still see the point, they suck. The only thing I can say is that in generations 2-5 all of the shinies were randomized and from gen 6 onward all the new Pokémon were hand-made, so take that as you will.

I personally love Shiny Glaceon, it's one of my favourites and proud to own it, sure it isn't much different, but I love the more intense colors and contrast it gains. I don't really dislike Shiny Leafeon as well - got it, too, both her and Glaceon were ones of my first Shinies I ever caught back in Diamond, and both were females, too - although I'd prefer if it's leaves were a different color, for example a nice cyan color.

Got all 10, noticing even the slightest color differences when i have something to compare to is really easy for me, you could have a shade of red then an ever so slightly lighter red right next to eachother and i would notice
I got all shinies right, Glaceon's was easiest for me because it was one of my fav shinies for being more "icy" than the original. I knew Leafeon because I remember it's a darker green, like leaves before fall. Togetic's shiny also is STILL off white just its less noticeable. You can tell when they're side by side. You want to know a REAL too similar shiny? Look at Persian.
Shiny Marshadow. It's technically shiny-locked cause it's an event Pokémon, but its shiny form is exactly the same as the regular. You can't tell it's shiny until it attacks and its head glows or something.
Glad to see you back with a top ten! I wa starting to miss ya! And as I said to a pal of mine a few days ago: not all shinies are created equal. And I couldn't help but cringe a bit when you called Floette Flotelle. Or when you called Charizard orange and red when it's just...well, orange. And with Togekiss its shiny is actually SLIGHTLY yellow-ish...but it's difficult to notice unless you're paying close attention. It's sad since some of my favorite Pokémon, Gengar and Garchomp, have pretty indistinguishable shinies. Even if their mega shinies at least make up for it.

8/10 For how accurate I was. And I think you might be slightly colorblind, my friend, because all of the Shiny Pokemon you claimed were extremely identical had a visible difference that you could get within a minute. That, or I'm just good at memorizing Pokemon designs and colors.
I got Leafeon and Elekid wrong because I forgot that Gen 6 had some sort of vendetta against actual color and forced every Pokemon to have ugly, muted colors, so the shinies for those Pokemon just ended up looking normal since they're simply harsher colorations of the muted color palettes.
Jigglypuff I can't argue about most of those pokemon looking pretty masculine, but is Weavile that masculine? The design looks pretty gender neutral to me. I can see it as a male or a female
on weavile it's fabulous, on M-Garchomp it's just ridiculous, not because it's feminine.... but it's a soft, sweet color, and where in the fuck did ya think M-Garchomp is supposed to look soft and sweet?

The point of the challenge wasn't to see if you could spot the difference, but rather could you figure out which one was shiny and which one wasn't. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that all of these shinies have very slight changes in color, which people seem to be ignoring even though that's the point of the video, to find the lazy shinies.

Unless you caught 2 Eevees on Emerald and then transferred them to gen 4, you couldn't have gotten Glaceon/Leafeon on Emerald though

I got all shinies right, Glaceon's was easiest for me because it was one of my fav shinies for being more "icy" than the original. I knew Leafeon because I remember it's a darker green, like leaves before fall.
Togetic's shiny also is STILL off white just its less noticeable. You can tell when they're side by side.

Shiny Marshadow. It's technically shiny-locked cause it's an event Pokémon, but its shiny form is exactly the same as the regular. You can't tell it's shiny until it attacks and its head glows or something.

And I couldn't help but cringe a bit when you called Floette Flotelle. Or when you called Charizard orange and red when it's just...well, orange.
And with Togekiss its shiny is actually SLIGHTLY yellow-ish...but it's difficult to notice unless you're paying close attention.
It's sad since some of my favorite Pokémon, Gengar and Garchomp, have pretty indistinguishable shinies. Even if their mega shinies at least make up for it.

I got only 3 wrong. One was Leafeon, the other 2 were these at the beggining mostly because I forgot that these pokemon exist.

8/10 For how accurate I was. And I think you might be slightly colorblind, my friend, because all of the Shiny Pokemon you claimed were extremely identical had a visible difference that you could get within a minute. That, or I'm just good at memorizing Pokemon designs and colors.

I got Leafeon and Elekid wrong because I forgot that Gen 6 had some sort of vendetta against actual color and forced every Pokemon to have ugly, muted colors, so the shinies for those Pokemon just ended up looking normal since they're simply harsher colorations of the muted color palettes.

on weavile it's fabulous, on M-Garchomp it's just ridiculous, not because it's feminine.... but it's a soft, sweet color, and where in the fuck did ya think M-Garchomp is supposed to look soft and sweet?

Obviously you're going to tell the difference when they're side by side. The point of the challenge wasn't to see if you could spot the difference, but rather could you figure out which one was shiny and which one wasn't. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that all of these shinies have very slight changes in color, which people seem to be ignoring even though that's the point of the video, to find the lazy shinies.
