    Why aren't more people talking about this cooler? This is the best cooler performance i've ever seen for its size. This is *REALLY* good.

    Ordered this cooler last night from amazon.The current cpu cooler Msi Frozr xl Limits mother too 16 gigs of memory since the 1st memory slot is covered by the fan.Option of raising the fan not available due to case height,Unfortunately . Just hope this cooler performs just as good.Will have to wait and see. Nice video.

    Your video helped me to rule out the MA 824 Stealth. In fact, this MA 612 seems like it´s gonna be a tight fit already. I hope Asus fixes things with the new Z790 boards. That Cooler didn´t leave much room left on both sides. I wish I could have a smaller air cooling option for the 13700K. Noctua is too large for my taste an the AK620 seems underwhelming.

    thanks for the video,this is a nice cooler worth buying 4 sure.1 question tho,you did a push pull set up on the fans but you placed the second(pull) on push configuration like your intake .you did a push push setup,accidentally or on purpose?im just asking,no offense:)

    Do you have both fans in a push configuration? If so, doesn't that affect your overall temps, as you should be in a push / pull config. That's what it looks like just from the video, so I believe the airflow is fighting against each other keeping the heat centralized on the block. (Edit) Maybe it was designed that way so you get rgb on both sides? I would like to know, I'm interested in this cooler.

    • @overclockersclub
      @overclockersclub  3 роки тому +2

      I understand what you’re saying, how it looks that the fans are fighting each other but in fact the exhaust fan is made with sort of a reverse profile blade so the fans actually work together and move the air efficiently through the cooler.

      @zhentoro 3 роки тому

      @@overclockersclub That's awesome! I love the look of it, and I'm like finally, because similarly on radiators that you have in a pull configuration it's almost like a waste of an RGB fan since it's facing the other direction.

    Haha, this is the first time I've seen somebody using a thermal imager on a pc setup. I used a Fluke ii910 for dB measurements. Don't see that stuff on UA-cam much.

    • @overclockersclub
      @overclockersclub  3 роки тому

      Yeah other than the "cool" factor, I know it doesn't really tell you much, so it is more of a "because I can" sort of thing. I have a dB meter too, but unless I know how the OEM is setting their system up, it is hard to get the same results.

      @@overclockersclub Have you tried using the thermal imager for finding shorts on a defect board? It's definitely interesting to see where heat sources develop, especially under load.
      I swapped out a Wraith Prism for a MA612 today and shot some footage using the acoustic imager. It's almost too bad I don't have a card with coil whine.

    Every and ALL fans should have this method of mounting a fan. There is no sense with those flipping small clips. Flipping, because the flip and slip of them springy things has annoyed me long enough. This looks like a magnificent fan, they are not cheap, but I am done with the clumsy (mostly clumsy me) ways of getting things mounted. Tomorrow morning I will be measuring the height inside my case, it might be very tight.

    Which is better for my Ryzen 5 3600 this or the MA624 Stealth?

    • @toni8411
      @toni8411 2 роки тому

      I'am planning to get the MA612 air cooler to my ryzen 5 3600. I searched around the internet for user reviews and youtube videos tests with the hyper 212 and the results where at 60 - 65°C at games and around 75° max stress in the cpu, which is very satisfactory in my opinion. This air cooler MA612 seems to me a pricer premium version of the hyper 212, the diference is: the construction/material of MA612 is better and have 2 sickleflow fans (they have a very good CFM and static pressure). With all this I think MA612 can handle very well with this cpu in overclock to 4.2Ghz.

    The rgb on the fans on the cooler does the rgb cover all the fan when you choose a color? The cooler that I got when cycling the rgb the fan blades are not lit up entirely only the upper left corner say 9 0 clock to 12 o clock.Possible the rgb on these fans are defective?

    • @3silver702
      @3silver702 3 роки тому

      More than sufficient for that cpu. If you're looking to save money, get a Vetroo V5, $30 cooler and it can handle work.
      I did testing for the Vetroo V5 on my Ryzen 9 5900x. My results were at stock clock pulling 135 watt tdp 4.2 ghz held at 65C for 10 min on Cinebench r23. Over clocked it to 4.5 ghz pulling 180 watt tdp and held at 85C on Cinebench r23. That 2nd test is pretty over the top, but it proved that the cooler is capable.
      Edit: I had a push and pull fan on the cooler for those results.
