Another great video :) I agree with the paper straws although I prefer the silicon ones to the metal as they can be hazardous for little ones. I actually bring my own when I go
Those clear, white floats are the best! I just started using them!! So relaxing! Love those family water rides! You all are so fun! Love these fun vlogs! I think you’re the best Disney vloggers out there!
Finally caught up again!! Loving the daily magic vlogs to look forward to every day. Hoping to move back to were I grew up so I can be closer to Disney again!
Sound was much better but I definitely think the focus is a huge flaw with the new camera and it outweighs its benefits. And while the lowlight is great it really doesnt matter if the camera cant focus
@@JourneyTogetherToday If can make a recommendation I would recommended the Canon EOS M50. It's got the same great low light capabilities with superfast autofocus.
I hope you keep looking for a replacement for the new camera you returned because I *loved* how clear the shots turned out in the low light of rides and at night! Totally agree with you on the paper straws, I bought a telescopic travel straw that comes in a little case with a keyring that fits right on your keychain or bag so it's easy to carry around with you.
The sound is so much better today! I understand why you returned it though. 😊. That burger looked amazing. Why do I always punish myself by watching your vlogs in the morning when I am fasting. 😂
You guys had an amazing first safari! So many animals really close to the vehicle. And I love the animal floats for Rivers of Light, they are beautiful!
I’ve been using my own metal straw to take everywhere & have a little bag to keep it separate when I’m not using it. Use them all the time even at home. Prefer metal over silicone because of taste & the metal stays cold (slushes are even more amazing with them 😊).
TIW is also good for 10% at select Counter Service restaurants. And I think the only blackout dates are major holidays. A single TIW is also good for your entire party. So you only need one. It would definitely be worth it for you. My wife and I make our money back on a single 7-10 day vacation.
The camera looks great! It actually looks in focus most of the times that you said it hadn’t focused. There was that one clip where you said, “still waiting... still waiting... forever.. ok focused”. That one definitely was out of focus the entire clip. But on the whole, it usually looks focused. And the audio is MUCH better on this video than you first test.. the one at the CR. So whatever you did there, great job! I’ve, in the past, not been a fan of AK. But the more you go and show it, the more I’m starting to rethink my position on AK. Especially now with Pandora being there. And AKL... omg you really make me wanna go there. Great job on the videos as usual. You make me smile and laugh with joy on every video :)
Another excellent video. You just make me want me to be there more. As always the love way you share a bit of everything , Rides , resorts , and . parks , food reviews . 👀 forward to next video. Have a blessed and magical day.
Girrafic Jam!!😂😂😂good one! Zebra domes are so YUM!!! I’ve been wondering if I should do TIW, too! Agree the paper straws are so flimsy!!! Good idea with straws! I think I saw Disney sells metal straws in the bigger stores!
LOve, lOVe, love your videos!! I also echo the suggestion on BYOB for water, refill it as needed for free and much less waste. Your straw "rental" is genius! Pitch it to Disney!
We just bought this camera too and I cannot wait to test it out. I'm currently trying to get good low light footage of haunted mansion for my 31 days of Halloween videos -- do you have any recommendations for settings? Thank you so much for sharing -- you and your brother are definitely living the dream!!!!
Have you thought of joining the loyalty club for Landry? I have one and it helps with wait times and sometimes discounts (depending on your point balance) at Yak & Yeti, T-Rex, Rainforest Cafe and more. Just something you might want to consider. 🙂
Dave was funny having all the inter tubes on as it was raining 🌧. The focus is a problem with the camera but also like the night time video . So far say go back to your other camera . Love the safari . Could go again & again . 🦒🦒 jam 😂😂. Have a great day .
Michael, I got in line for Flight of Passage at 9:45pm when the park closed at 10pm. The posted wait time was 120 minutes and I waited only 55 minutes. I think toward the end of the night they inflate the wait times because they want to go home 😂
Appreciate you always working hard to give us the best quality videos. Regardless of the occasional out of focus, this video was so much fun!! Tell us Michael how r your feet and overall energy? I know you’ve mentioned in the past needing a full day of recovery after your adventures? I guess it’s the slower pace. Keep up the great video content.
We had to get multiple straws per drink because it wouldn’t last. Decided that we are going to bring our own silicone straws the next time we head to WDW
Hey Mike When you said adjusting the white balance, do you meant adjusting the exposure compensation ? Autofocus is definitely behind - too bad - 70 d still the king !
What a fun time you guys had!! Love your videos...so glad I subscribed! My two cents (truly, all it's worth) is that the audio tweaks have improved that issue immensely, but the inability to auto-focus quickly is a real problem. Good luck Michael and thank you both for another great Disney day!
Love your vlogs! Quick question? We are heading for beignets next week per your recommendation! Have you tried the beignets burger? Any other recommendation for things to try there?
Have you looked into a Landrys Select card for Yak & Yeti? It’s $25......but they give you a $25 discount the first time you use it. Advantages...they treat you like royalty and you can show up to any of their restaurants without a reservation and they bump you to the front of the line. - Ralph from NC.
I got a reusable travel silicon staw is always on my bag. I don't know how I feel about a metal straw that some one already used, sanitation will be a high cost. Amazon has metal and silicon travel straws good price
How in the world do you upload daily? We are a bit addicted to your channel. We are developing our own too, and we own escape rooms, axe throwing and a theatric mystery biz in Branson, Missouri. Keep up the great vids!
Don’t forget to sign up for the Landry’s Card if you plan to go back to Yak and Yeti! It’s a $25 dollar enrollment but you get a $25 welcome reward. You also get a $25 Birthday reward and $25 dollars for each $250 you spend. You also get priority seating when you walk up! It excludes TREX, Yak and Yeti, Rainforest Cafe, Bubba Gumps over in Universal and much more. Awesome video as always!
A lot of folks with different disabilities and/or allergies require (specifically) plastic straws; there are definitely better ways to conserve the environment than eliminating plastic straws. (if you're interested, there are several handy charts about this floating about the internet). Excited for you to get TIW so we get more dining reviews :)
Great day!! Fun times at the waterpark in the rain. Safari had alot of animals out 😍 Re: Camera pic is clearer at times, but does take a long time to focus. Low light looks awesome!! Sound was much better today. Re: Straws, you should ck out Final Straw. They have collapsible straws that fit in a keychain box. 😁 Great idea to help our oceans.
A bummer that this new camera didn't work out for you but it definitely still is worth looking for a lighter camera now that you're a Florida resident!
Hi. I disagree to metal straws. There's the health concerns and need to set up a costly serialization process. There are also safety concerns of children poking their sibling' s eye out. Also, some people are allergic to certain types of metals. Good idea but lots of cons to consider. As always, great vlog!
The metal straw and return might be a good idea! I def agree that paper straws are junk! Horrible to use as it disintegrates before you’re half way done with your drink. The low light def has its advantages with the new camera. Audio is so much better today. Focus is very distracting as a watcher.
As soon as you spend $750 for you and guests, you have paid for the tables in wonderland...FYI, when I purchased mine, they said it lasts for 18 months, not 12 months. And it does work on most quick service as well. I got discounts on my zebra domes and my beignets...two things I know you will be getting.
Why haven't you bought yourself a reusable straw yet?!! There are SO many good options out there - even straws that can collapse, and they come with carrying cases and cleaning brushes. You can choose the material you'd like best, like silicone, stainless steel, pyrex, etc... You'll pay more than a dollar though!
I vote keep the old camera. The new one is good a night though, so unless it’s worth it to you to switch cameras a night then I’d stick with the other one.
The low light performance on your old camera was not good. The low light on this one is great but that is it. Otherwise its inferior. The tricky thing is, now that you're a FLR, you will be in the parks more at night. Mabye the right move is getting a faster lens for your old camera.
It’s good you’re holding off a little while longer, Yak and Yeti isn’t eligible for tables and wonderland discount. It’s one of the few that don’t. In terms of the automatic gratuity, it’s not as bad as it sounds. Your standard discount is 20% but the auto gratuity is 18%. It makes the transaction easier bc you still save 2% on the meal. Doesn’t sound like much for the short term, but the long term benefit breaks even. However, if you look at it from a non affinity member POV, the standard visitor who’s not in any group will pay full price for their meal, plus gratuity, and taxes.
Glad you returned the new camera already because I was going to comment that camera wasn't focusing on you at all, just the background. Also the color was not sharp. And going to a water park is definitely a tourist thing, not a Florida resident thing.
Just wondering about camera focus. Dave is always walking behind you and the camera may have trouble figuring who to focus on. Other vloggers are using this camera and with good results. P S love your videos😍😍
@@JourneyTogetherToday I was hoping it was going to work out for you, something smaller and easier on your arm and back. You know i use (don't have a youtube channel yet!? for family videos) a sony rx 100 mk v in addition to my full frame mirrorless and it works like a charm and the new sony rx 100 mk vii has a mic jack which is my only complaint from my mk v
i don't know if it's a setting, but your camera does seem to focus for farther distances greater than your arm length. at the end of the video, the tree of light was in great focus, but you were not. and even David walking behind you was more in focus than you were while holding the camera.
The focus I see can be frustrating..night aperture pretty cool. But as far as straws they could just plastic straws for a price where you feel the need to return it to get your money back.. maybe a deposit of 5 bucks so customer will feel the need to say hey dont forget to return the straws so Disney can recycle them. You get your 5 dollars back and also help the environment
Since you get paper cups of water often at the parks, you guys should get and carry your own water bottles (less waste)
Another great video :) I agree with the paper straws although I prefer the silicon ones to the metal as they can be hazardous for little ones. I actually bring my own when I go
Always fun at the water parks! Even with a bit of rain 😱
Those clear, white floats are the best! I just started using them!! So relaxing! Love those family water rides! You all are so fun! Love these fun vlogs! I think you’re the best Disney vloggers out there!
Amazing video! Highlight of my day! Dave is awesome making gestures in the background! Love it!
Hahaha yea he is the best
I've done the Disney water parks in the rain! We loved it! We got to ride all the slides multiple times with very little wait.
I love water park videos! (And any Michael Kay videos!)
Finally caught up again!! Loving the daily magic vlogs to look forward to every day. Hoping to move back to were I grew up so I can be closer to Disney again!
Love your idea about the metal straws. I love how close the giraffes get to truck.
Another thing to consider with Tables in Wonderland if it is still a benefit is the valet parking at resorts when you go for dining.
Sound was much better but I definitely think the focus is a huge flaw with the new camera and it outweighs its benefits. And while the lowlight is great it really doesnt matter if the camera cant focus
Agreed in full! This is the last day I tested it...I already sent it back
