"When you can't stay motivated stay consistent - Consistency will bring back that motivation".
Thanks! Great words to do and live by.🙏👍🏾
90% startups fails but 100% entrepreneurs win . Wow!!!
Being an entrepreneur is the real deal. Only 1% percent of business owners are entrepreneurs
This is great, people don't take seriously their own needs and what they want from life and ends with jobs that they hate. It is so cruciall to describe your goal and find a path to acheive it. Thank you for great words. From Poland with love
This is the 4th time I have come back to this video since it was posted. Great advice!
Man Shaan, I loved this. Completely resonated with me and has been quite a similar approach to how I have been taking it. I'm 24 now. Let's see where we're at when I'm 29. I'll be finishing my bachelor's in February 2023 and have had a business since 2020
The clarity of thought and self awareness that Shaan has is just tremendous.
One question Friday is my favorite part of the show!
Also, I can bet all my money that one day Shaan will be running workshops like Tony Robbins, but they will be just 10x better and ofcourse 10x revenue.
The advice in this video is a great example of how one has to make a Decision? A decision isn't multiple choices. A Decision eliminates all other choices. Multiple choices are confusion.
You put it in words so perfectly! 🙌🏽👍🏽💪🏽👊🏽
Pure gold! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for putting your heart into this one Shaan. Lot's of goods stuff.
Loving these Friday nuggets of wisdom. Excellent one, Shaan! Needed to hear this.
Great stuff man. Thanks for pouring your heart out for us.
Solid episode. I love the idea of what you think is the safe path isn't actually safe if it's not heading towards you dream outcome. Well said.
Thanks Shaan! Your videos are awesome. As someone walking the same path as yours, they serve as a guiding light. Sending nothing but best wishes. Keep winning.
What a great perspective! Thank you
Super helpful! Such a great and genuine sharing.
This would make a great course on self reflection & awareness. This video definitely helped with knowing yourself
So inspiring and insightful. Clever dude.
I liked this one a lot! thanks !
You're great at creating simple explanations & frameworks.
Great one, really enjoy those videos they are straight to the point and clear to make you think
best inspiration video i have listened too so far
f...ing gold!! thank you
Great take on risk. Risk vs Rewards over time does change. Thought clarity and being driven by your own thoughts and spending time to know what you like is the difference. Great articulation and perspective
It's very similar what was said by MJ DeMarco in Millionaire Fastlane. I'm back to setting mindset and working on side projects. Even though I have safe job in tech and it's "cozy", I'd like to have more time for myself. Thanks for the great content!
I had like to work with you
@@NayaPuran I don't understand, what do you mean?
what atruly fantastic way to put it & exactly how I feel!
Love it!
GREAT vid!
this was a perfect explination of something really nuanced. thanks Sean

absolutely this is a wonderful video. thumbs up !,,
I dig the podcast!!
Clarity bro! That’s your superpower @Shaan
Brother Shaan, you are such an epic human being and you add so much value and different prospects to things which I wouldn't have even considered, I just want you to know that.
That's awesome dude
thank you, love you
Love it ❤
This was amazing
Great video.
Cultivating that Trillionaire mindset.
honestly how are we getting this kind of advice for free? like fr? thanks Shaan appreciate it, Just Subed!
My Takeaways:
👉 Shaan believes that taking risks and trying new things, even if it means potentially failing, has contributed to his success
👉 He only works on things that he enjoys, which makes the work feel more like play
👉 Shaan emphasized the importance of having a growth mindset and being open to learning and trying new things
👉 Many of Shaan's peers played it "safe," but he questions whether this is truly safe
👉 Shaan believes that he has had more success and fun than most of his peers from college, despite being a mediocre student.
I love this
You are like my future self. I’ve felt like I was talking to myself. Such a great video ✌️
Essentially you wrote down the assets and liabilities in different futures and went for most assets.
Nice strongman approach to the question m8
Hey shaan, you are my inspiration.
You must have read thinking in bets book
Amazing 👍
wow, resonated w me. and yes we subconsciously pickup not listening to our own selves and not being in touch w what our emos are actually saying underneath.
And totally agree w "not taking risks" being the riskiest thing. But but:
do you think someone w no reserves (to start with) could go do what you did? I mean they can convince someone for funds and stuff but not an ok path for all IG? Or maybe is ok. And everyone kindda figures out their own way to "play" but i reallllllly could relate to what you mentioned about feeling here
And you don't necessarily need to create a Bn $ company for this. There could be more sustainable ways of existingg
what i definitely take from this is that most of the great/entrepreneurs out there are highly emo aware
v insightful
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:21 🤔 *Shawn is doing a "One Question Friday" segment, answering a listener's question about what he did differently to succeed.*
02:13 😌 *Shawn emphasizes that while he works a lot, he only works on things he enjoys, making it feel like play rather than hard work.*
04:04 🎭 *Most of Shawn's college peers pursued "safe" paths like becoming doctors, lawyers, consultants, or bankers. However, Shawn realized these paths didn't align with what he truly wanted.*
08:05 🤯 *Shawn stresses the importance of getting clear on what you want in life before choosing a path. He defines safety as achieving desired outcomes with the least risk, not just following conventional paths.*
10:39 💡 *Shawn chose entrepreneurship because he found joy in the day-to-day challenges, understood the odds of success over time, and appreciated the substantial rewards when success was achieved.*

Awesome
One of the best explanations I’ve ever heard.
What is your definition of “Safe”?
The idea of working in a career for 30 years and praying that your 401k is big enough to retire on doesn’t sound like the safest possible bet.
Love this 🤘🏼
Can u make video on how u found your winning ideas
🙏🏽💯
Begin with the end in my mind
I love you Shaan. What would it take to get a chance to work with people like you. I don't like how most of the people live in a tunnel.
1. Figure out what you want.
2. Figure out the best way to get there.
actually helpful advice XD
I went down the safe path and kept trying to innovate and solve big problems. Eventually I had to give it up.
Why? What made you give up?
What I don’t like about his answer is that people need to pay the bills and he completely missed the main question: where to get money while you’re doing the entrepreneurial thing
Thak you
I wish I had heard this when I was 20.
nice
I'm 20, and i was here.

You’ve heard of Lucid Dreaming, well Shaun just gave us Lucid Scheming.
Do with it what thou wilt.
The best summary of risk in the context of career choices I have ever seen.
Thank you - great video.
Would love to hear more about your first successful business.
Shaan looks older when he shaves 😆 lol great pod
Ten-fifteen year? What about dinner at the table during this time?
So what was his 1st product?/ company(1st time watching)

First vídeo:
Did you build a company ?
Is it just me, or Shaan looks much younger in these videos?
How do you become an entrepreneur...?
You stop thinking and start doing.
@@simplyexplained2901 but I have literally no background in the space...
That's like you asking how can I get star sending rockets to space when you've been a doctor for 20 years
Nobody has experience before they start doing something.
Start doing things! You'll learn it along the way.

@@ObtecularPk the fact you're already listening to this podcast already puts you ahead of most. Just keep your eyes open and follow along with their stories to get ideas. At some point you will find something you are passionate about.
Looks like the author first filmed that episode, then added speed 1.25-1.5, and finally published that edited faster video. Makes sense anyway:)
Talk about waffle.
When everything started to tank, I lost more than $40,000. Not because I was involved in a heated exchange. Because that's what everyone else said, I was just dumb to hold, and that's why. Even while I still have responsibility for my decisions, I now consider myself to be a better investor because I am more aware of the potential pitfalls. I was in the market for more than 3 years before I realized that. I'm happy to have discovered a way to get my money back at approximately $5,000 per week in profits. Many thanks, Mrs Aubrey Richardson.
