Incredible story of success and achievement despite the odds. I started my business with 6 kids, recently divorced and at the lowest point in my life. The business went from 0 to 9-figures during the worst time to start a print-media business (2008). After 12 years, we've consistently blown past records and still going strong! It is possible with the right idea, culture and team in place. Thanks for sharing MFM team.

Well this was a surprise to wake up to! Great breakdown Shaan!
The lucky part of the lockdown was that I'd set up the product business in 2019 BEFORE the lockdown, so my infrastructure was already in place: inventory, store, 3PL, etc.
So during COVID, all I did was tell my supplier "sell me everything you have"
Hobby categories are going to be completely owned by savvy creator/operators in ~10 years

How did you store all that colored tp/sanitizer inventory? lol ...Interesting note about future hobby categories. I'm guessing ai will simply cycle through (and post/buy domains etc) of all the combos and then do just-in-time manufy or 3d product printing. Seems like Amazon is already like this in market saturation.

Yes. Men bond over activities. Especially coopetition (cooperative competition). Normal static networking events only really works for extroverts, leaving some real power player introverts to fade into the background. Want to connect with real power nerds that actually do interesting things? Make it activity based. Also, please do a pod on Tori Gerbig if you have not already. Great story.

I feel that one overlooked ting when it comes to Google, is that they have their own TPUs (comparable to nvidias GPUs), that they choose to not to sell. If they make the switch to start selling them Google could become be a major player in the semiconductor industry.

People follow Kevin and Epic Gardening because he was a beginner just getting started out… just like his early followers.
That’s what people want to see. People want to follow a business, a creator, a UA-cam channel, a podcast… from 12 subscribers to 1,200,000.
    Hint hint 🙂
