at the very beginning, he says "without Root the procedure does not work"!!!! why are there so many people asking why it doesn't work for them!!! You MUST root your phone for this to work, obviously not listening or watching the entire video accurately! For rooted phones only , it needs to be clear in the title per favor. And good things to know, once your phone is rooted it's an open door to catch your bank details. This is why I won't root despite the fact I am dying to watch video in my car.

Hello, the procedure worked perfectly in my car, however, when disconnecting the sync3 cable, the whatsapp and facebook audios did not work, the applications were silent. I had to enter the bluetooth configuration and disable the "media audio" so that the audio returned to normal.

Same thing happen to me. Once you sync the cable, the audio will be in your infotainment.

Sir i have root phone, i installed car stream, granted root permission , car stream automatically showing in customise launcher without using aa aio tweaker or AA phenotype patcher. But when I m opening the app in car android auto it is showing no new messages during this drive even after root access
Worked mint but in my case after patch reboot my radio couldn't see carstream app so i had to go to app on my phone press 3 dot menu and Unlock it. Then another restart and there it is ;] oh and if U have other versions of this app installer downloaded U MUST remove them from your device and download the one in the video otherwise patcher will install older one and it won't connect. Apart from them 2 issues it took me 10 min to make it work. Big thanks

My car's screen is about 10.25 inches and only 3/4 of the area is utilised in android auto, is there any way i can get use of my full screen for youtube? , the 1/4 part just shows date and time. Whereas in car play i can play in UA-cam videos in full screen with a jailbreaked device. Please help

CarStream works perfectly on Android 10. You have to install the new version of which I put the link in the video description. UA-cam does not allow me to edit the video, but the procedure is correct. You just need to use the new version of CarStream.

On the screen it stated "Click last icon in bottom bar & start playing fr UA-cam" .... but couldn't find any last icon.

2 things - my version of Android is above 6 - no options presented by you... 2: are you sure while you can play, the hucker cannot hack your 'pay options' on the phone (say from Russia or from China) and happily let you watch movies while stealing your banking info from your phone?? There is a 'CLEAR WARNING'... so??? hahaah... am not sure.. I'd rather sacrifice this option, and rather would not go your route... at least no on the car... I tell you more for all those enthusiasts: those apps are pirat apps, and from my experience THEY DON'T LAST. only matter of time when it will stop working, lol.

Never enable unknown sources on your phone if you have important bank and personal information saved on it, unknown sources allows hackers to access your phone
😞 Unknown sources allows you to install apps from outside the play store. It doesn't give access to hackers... Unless you install an untrustworthy app.

i have root on my phone and carstream comes on my android auto but my car (mercedes e class w213 or 2019 model) doesn't have touchscreen. so when i try to navigate with the scroll button or touchpad it just scrolls the window down but doesn't select a video which i can then click to play. is there a way around this to use the app from the phone, instead of the touchscreen display of the car so i can use it on my non-touchscreen display?

Screen2auto shares your phone's screen to your car's screen, And Carstream simply just plays youtube
