So are the aftershows gonna be merged into the main video now? I'm all for it, especially as the Archives channel gets more, you know, archival content.
I watched it live, the stream never ended lol so i assume that's why it wasn't cut from the main podcast.

I've been around so long, back in the day Shawn was the one begging and pleading to end the podcast because he edited it (and was the only one with a family) and now it's Derrick just wanting to go home after an hour 😂

Rocco!! Halo Split Screen NEVER came out! It's online only - it's absolutely nuts that they promised all Halo games would have split screen after Halo 5, and then THE VERY NEXT GAME they failed to deliver on that promise
It’s also notable that the online coop version, at least from the experiences of most people who have played it has performance issues/ saving issues/ crashing issues

Pro shoe lace tip here:
If your shoe come untied a lot, it's probably because your bow is going the wrong direction.
Make sure your bow is essentially square knot with a bow instead of a second regular knot. If the bow is going up and down your shoe, it means you tied the loop in the same direction as the first knot before the bow.
You want the bow to go side to side on your shoe not towards your toe and knee. When you wrap one lace around the bow to tie it, make sure you're looping in the opposite direction as you did for the first "knot". Maybe think of it as clockwise then counter clockwise or vise versa.
IDK it's hard to explain through text, but you can look it up or just experiment until your bows going the right way.

Every day I'm thankful that you're all still alive and together. The fact I may live to someday see that not be the case is a consistent nostalgic fear.
I like to think that if something ever happened, you'd carry on in each other's honor even if it wouldn't be the same. But instead of that, I just hope you all live into your 90s and keep meeting up.

The way Shawn feels about James Cameron is how I feel about Taylor Swift. There's a point where celebrities become so prolific that despite their obvious talent, it starts to get really annoying hearing about them so often. Their fans go insane for them and you start to feel like the crazy one for not getting the hype.

As an interviewer at a major tech company, a degree is normally just seen as experience, and a bar to ask questions against. Work experience of 7+ years will usually signal an interview with a degree not needed.

No one I know is seeing Avatar. I know one guy, but he sees everything. I definitely don't hear any hype, I just keep hearing the ever growing box office totals for Avatar 2.
I have no interest in seen Avatar, but I do find it interesting that the only thing I hear about it on any online discourse (except maybe on this podcast) is how much money it's made. When the last Avengers movies came out, even if you didn't care for them, it was almost impossible not running into spoilers, memes, screenshots, clips recorded from the theater, all kinds of discussion about what happened in the movies. But with Avatar? I haven't seen anyone talking about the plot, characters or anything regarding the movie itself. It's so weird.

I know it’s my fault for reading the comments, but does anyone know why Derrick gets so much hate? Like i would genuinely appreciate an explanation of it, i know sometimes he can get wrapped up and talk/ overshadow a conversation, but i feel like Rocco can do that with evangelion or Shawn with sport.
I can’t tell if Cyberpunk was fun for other peopleobjectively because the few people that have made comments are people subscribed to cinema sins and shit so idk if my experience being like 7.5/ 10 fun was an outlier or something

Podcast university classes, sound like Music School, some of the world's finest musicians who have played thousands of shows worldwide (cough cough Marbin cough cough) aren't allowed to teach in university settings because they don't have the right paper....but they can come as performers or teach a clinic. Education and certain career fields need common sense reform.

I stand by the points made about the first avatar of it having no culture significance to Americans. Avatar 2, so far, made 600 mil domestically, which is a lot of money. But the majority of its 2.2 billion is overseas, which is why the majority of us don't know anything about it. Most people who see it say "it's pretty and way too long".

I think it was more like that James Cameron’s movies are successful so him thinking that, James Cameron is a good movie maker is therefore justified, which I get but also I feel like doing that well commercially just means you’re a movie maker who can broadly appeal to the masses and that makes that sort of lame and consumerist if that makes sense

I'm confused on Shawn's opinion about James Cameron. He doesn't like James Cameron because he is an asshole for correcting someone that a scifi creature he created called Tulkun (using whale as a base inspiration) is not a whale. I think that's not being an asshole, and based on the information, the way he corrected the question is not that harsh.
