I've only recently switched to using Dunlop tyres on the motorbike and I'm completely sold on the Trailmax Raids. On my 2nd set and they are amazing. I'm surprised Dunlop aren't more popular with bikers.
I am about 5000 miles into my use of a set of Meridian’s on a GSA. They are a brilliantly reliable consistent handling tyre at ease in the dry or wet. Not many people seem to have heard about them but my local dealer at Bob’s Tyres in Deeside gave them a glowing recommendation and everything he promised they would be has been delivered.
Hey! So how much life is left in them after 5k miles? Would you think they can last double this number before needing a change? Is 10k miles a logical number to expect of them in such a big motorcycle?
@@dimitriskatsoulis4986I made a mistake as I have already reached 7000 miles. I will not road ride. The Meridian’s are a 90/10 road biased tire. They are part of a range of tyres that Dunlop do with different percentages under the Trailmax name.
Hi. Great video thank you. Just wondered what the road noise levels are like please. I have a 1250 GS and currently have the Michelin Anakee's that come factory fitted.

@ over 6000 at the moment. Still going strong but will probably look to replace at 7000. I never run tyres down to the limit.
@@paulabraham8724 that's great news! If you ride off-road can you tell me if they handle light fire roads and dry gravel?

Should say I don’t ride off road

6k on road 6 with 1mm left and just changed it. About the same as i got on my old Multistrada.

Quieter thank most. Ride safe
I got talked into buying some road6s to replace my roadsmart 4s and it’s been a mistake
Might give those a try next, are they quiet?
Yes they are. Ride safe
How do they compare to the mutants?
Would they work well on a 1250RS ?
Yes, they would be perfect.
@@fredensminde Good to know.
