The fact that both dUg and George were both in their late 60s when they wrote this just blows my mind. Still writing songs that someone a third of their age could only dream of writing. Love KXM!

Man, Ray and Dug low end rythm section is so tight, they drive these songs with authority! And of course Mr. Scary himself George lynch playing rythm and lead is so clean and crisp! Long live the ESP. Seen George with Dokken in 88' at the monsters of rock tour at the Cotton Bowl ,Dallas,TX hasn't lost a step., Its not age at all , just great music coming from guys that enjoy playing together.. WHEN WILL THE TOURING START!!!

Whoa. I never even realized how old he was. I figured he was closer to 60 than 70. Didn't realize he was already 40 in 1990. I thought he was like 25 or 27 back then.
@@calvinmay35 I found out how old he was in a magazine interview...he was 56 at the time. I thought, "This has got to be a typo." Went to the computer to double check and got the shock of my life! And 12 years later he looks just as good!
He will be 69 on September 3! I wish I was in his shape at 43 😔🤪

I am never surprised when Doug and George sound so great. Thats just the caliber they are. And no one is mentioning Ray, this dude makes everything worldclass! The three of these guys are among the very best that exist. KXM are so excellent! Love it!

Daddytang67 I’m with you there. It may not be a legendary solo, but style is all I care about. I can spot him a mile away. UA-cam shredders for the most part don’t have that original note/phrase or vibrato.

Ha. you youtube "solo" judges are like armchair quarterbacks. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that solo. It sounded gritty (purposefully I'm sure), it was short, sweet, and right in the pocket. Every song doesn't call for a blistering 5 minute solo.
