damn, 66 years of age, and Dug simply keeps going and putting awesome music like this!! Major respect for this guy. so many musicians out there who simply stop trying/caring after their big chance/break, and some are not even in their late 40s/50s....

KXM ROCKS!!!
Seems like when you get musicians from different bands together that have been around 30+ years, the music usually sounds very dated and uninspired. KXM's music sounds so fresh and totally original. The first "supergroup" in recent memory that truly lives up to the billing!
Very true but pls check out super shine band - Going Down feat. dUg Pinnick from 1997 I think. Another hidden gem.
i think Velvet Revolver was good super-group ...i wish Scott would not have died, and got clean, they were really good together ...i get tired of Axle's voice, but never get tired of Scott's voice ...and and Slash just has so much more to say musically ...he is such a powerhouse writer ...about the only big label axe-slinger left who still does traditional 'rock guitar" but is so good he still relevant
And yet they manage to remain under the radar with this stuff. Love it.
Billy Sheehan and Ritchie Kotzen had a pretty cool gig going too called 'The Winery Dogs'.
Kotzen isn't bad as a frontman.
Forgot to add that Mike Portnoy is the drummer.
This works because Lynch always held the groove in Dokken, and Pinnick was the groove in King's X. They know what it means to be in the pocket.

God damn, Scatterbrain was fucking badass and this is absolutely killer (very King's X-y), dUG is the truth, the end all and be all of soulful rock vocalists, George's bluesier solo's are so in the pocket lately, and Ray is a god a damn monster. These two singles are pretty epic so far... looks like they easily avoided the sophomore slump based on these tracks alone !
I read they did this from composition to finished recording in two weeks. It blew my mind. And tool can only muster up an album every century now... lol

For 35 years Mr. Lynch has never let me down. The greatest guitar player of all time. Hands down no one can touch him and his bands. He could release a nursery rhyme and I would buy it. I got to meet Mr. Lynch 2 years ago, took me 30 years. I will never forget that moment. what a ass kicking song.

No doubt. He has consistently had killer tone, even though he changes it up, it's always bad ass.

I actually think this album is better than the first one..Looks like George got him a band now..Good for these guys..and they look like their all having a great time..everyone's happy. The music makes that clear..

This Was fucking amazing. Everything is flawless. Dug's Soulful voice and grinding bass sound, George Lynch with his signature clean sounding shredding as I like to call it. And what can I say about Ray Luzier. The guy is a beast on the drums. One of my favorite drummers in Hard Rock and Metal. The song got me pumped up. This one's a keeper.

I have always loved Dokken, Lynch Mob as well... but KXM is by far the best of George! He finally is accompanied with his equals,. Ray's insane beats over Dug's soulful grooves... Heavenly!!
