I'm glad you mentioned the sweepstakes registration certificate. I too have purchased plenty of tool kits earning certificate slips inside and no I haven't seen any win not even a t-shirt. Hey Milwaukee send us all a t-shirt for buying and supporting your products.
A slight camber should be within tolerance but it should not be dramatically crooked. If it seems odd send it back. Milwaukee is really good about replacing stuff.
@@albertj3421 I ended up returning it the gun wouldn't grab the nails from the magazine I think it had already been returned once the thing that grabs the nails was broken
@@als3449 Depends, if this would be the only MW tool you own then no. Get something that shares batteries with your other tools. If you own everything red then yeah man go for it. I hate having one odd ball tool that nothing else can swap batteries with. It has its short comings which Gen II should address whenever it gets here but I've been using this gun for a solid two years with no regrets. Cheers.
I’ve registered dozens of times and NEVER got a T-shirt! I’ve noticed they only listed some of the tools that have that code so most of the time I just Pick a random tool that I purchased. I do have a question for you. The pump firing mechanism that you can adjust manually. Out the box even after adjusting it mine boiled for the depress all the way in. Do you have to actually fire the gun in order for it to fully depressing or is it stiff like that only just out the box.
Really torn on the nailers.have a ryobi 18 gauge which was the first battery operated on the market. sStill running strong , but want an angled 16guage also. The Milwaukee & hitachi are pretty much the same gun, but I don’t like a few things about them. I have all dewalt except for the new fuel combo driver/ impact which I got a screaming deal on and waiting for it to arrive. The dewalt has the flywheel so I will probably get the hitachi because better price. Not worried about changing platforms because the battery will stay charged and they have the 3 ah same size as the 2ah.
If battery platform isn't an issue then I say get whatever. Despite the hype as long as it shoots nails any gun is a winner. I haven't got to use the Hitachi yet but it looks good.
So far I really like it. We just uploaded a followup video after using it several months that will fully explain what I now like and don't like after several months of use. Thanks for watching! Follow up review here >>> ua-cam.com/video/RrhzTAZ8vYU/v-deo.html
I'm working on a follow up video now that should be up in a few days hopefully. So far so good with the nailer truth is it dose exactly what its supposed to do. I have had a few nails not set all the way but that is typical of every trim nailer I have ever used. A lot can cause a nail not to set (gun angle, excessive wood density, limp wristting the gun). In my experience so far I don't believe this gun has any fewer or any more miss sets than my paslodes did. When I have had a nail not set I can honestly say it was more my fault than the gun. I was either trying to fire at an odd angle or shot back into a corner I should have hand drove. After 2 months now and thousands of nails I still like the gun and would buy it again. The only thing I wish Milwaukee would change is the tip of the gun that makes contact with the material. It's a hard plastic that can slip. I wish it was a softer rubber that would grip the wood harder. Hope that helps !
Milwaukee nail gun really is worse one, and expensive, heavy. its speed is stupidly slow. nail gun is new for Milwaukee Tool, they only build nail gun two years, really lack of experience for nail gun.
I haven't had any trouble with the speed. The kind of work I do it shoots as fast as I can accurately place the gun. What were you building that the speed was a problem?
Thanks for your video. Just bought my first nailer so the information was helpful. Need to watch the follow up too. Just wanted to say Thanks !!

I just got one the front where the nails shoot out of is crooked is that normal

@@albertj3421 do you recommend this 15gauge Milwaukee I've heard its not that great ?

Good info. Thanks. Did you get your t-shirt?
Thank you! And NOPE no t-shirt....
Albert J3 I'm considering this nailer. Any issues with nails not driving all the way? Looking forward to the follow up if you have one. Thanks.

Albert J3 That helps a lot. Thank you again sir. Look forward to the video.
How do you put nails in????? Ugh!
I have registered so many tools and have never won anything. No shirt, no tools. Nothing. Lol

comparing Hitachi nail gun, its speed very low, Can you agree, and worse thing is have to re-charge the air-pressure.
how are they now in 2020?
