I'm all for UK legal bikes, however the method of testing used by the police would put almost every legal bike over the legal limit. The method they use is to lift the back wheel off the ground and put it on full throttle, even a legal bike would go considerably faster than the 15.5mph limit. Admittedly they couldn't do it with this bike but most other legal bikes can be made to exceed 15.5mph if the wheel is off the ground. Last year over 900 bikes in the UK were impounded by the police, many were legal bikes.
@@billt1954 not necessarily, my Eskuta SX-250 S4 has a button throttle that starts the bike into walk mode about 4 mph, then you begin pedaling.... Not hard barely a ghost pedal to get it up to 15..5mph. And quite a few ebikes have walking push throttlles. 😮
@@billt1954not all throttle bike are illegal the Pedibal bikes are fully legal and DVSA registered which is why having a throttle on them takes an extra 5 weeks to ship
They really need to be 20mph, my Mi rider 1, has the walk mode and is excellent for setting off but max speed is 16mph which is just stupid when riding on public roads
Wait why would a throttle mean you might as well get a moped or motorcycle? You can't go anywhere a bicycle can on a moped or motorbike legally at least....
An interesting bike, those brakes seem very impressive and I do like the look of those handlebars. I am a short arse, only 5 ft 8, but even for me that seat height is too low for an efficient pedal stroke. I would much prefer a 26 inch wheel version of the bike. It does seem impressive for the price.
Heights not realky the factor mate, its the inside leg measurement that counts, l know one lad onky 5ft7ins got a 35inch inside leg so his knees would be hitting him in the nose lol, and another mate whose 6ft but with a 26inch inside leg, he would likel be ok on it lol.
Wrong bike get a Pedibal (You can pay to get DVSA Throttle permission as part of their order process!). Fully legal! TBH you look ridiculous riding this like you have stolen your son's Raleigh Chopper from the 70s!
This looks very nice for the price ! And give it a sissy bar and it would look like a modern version of the Raleigh Chopper without a doubt. I think it's the long seat that does it.
I have the Jansno X50. Throttle is great for junctions to get you moving before the PAS kicks in.
Can you review the 2024 updated M1 fiido please

If what you say about police testing methods is true then all bikes would fail because the throttle alone renders the bike illegal for road use.

Also, l lifted mine onto its stand and pushed the throttle the wheel didnt even get up to 8mph.

Great Review, Really like this bike.
@@SlothyVlogs No worries. Cheers yeah same. Very nice indeed!
Silly thought - as these bikes have a free-wheel sprocket, does the cadence sensor kick in if you pedal backwards?
How could it ?
